Rated 5 out of 5 by Leonie Great hotel and staff
Although we didn't eat in the hotel it was great. We have no experience with the restaurant. We enjoyed our stay. Although we were much to early to check in, " our" room was already available. So after a long stay at the airport and our flight we'ld put our suitcases in the room and fresh up. A lot of comfort and great service.

Although I was only in Dublin for 1 day on business, the hotel was 4star in my opinion. Helpful staff, clean and tidy throughout and a pleasant nights sleep. The deluxe room was large with a fabulous bathroom and noise levels were low even though the room backed onto a road.
Would happily stay again on business or pleasure.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Westin Dublin. Location, accommodations, and dining all were excellent. Look forward to staying there again in the near future. The best hotel in our 2 week European vacation that included London, Paris and Dublin. Thank you Westin and all the refreshingly nice people of Dublin.

I never give a five star, because there is always something which doesn't meet that standard, but I couldn't think of anything. The staff was first notch, the Hotel is perfectly located for anything you want to do in Dublin, and the hotel was clean and in tip top shape. We had a wonderful stay and would stay here again.

We chose this hotel for its location and facilities and we were not disappointed, we were very central to all that Dublin has to offer. The staff were friendly and could not do enough to make our stay special. Our deluxe room was attractive and comfortable. We would definitely return and will recommend it to friends.

We were given an upgrade to the top floor with a balcony that overlooked Trinity College. The location is central to most tourist attractions. The conceirge was a great help in booking tours and suggesting sites to see. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an upscale hotel in a prime location.

I stayed in The Westin Dublin with my family, I was concerned that styaing with children might be difficult I didnt need to be worried. We were looked after so well from check in, to dining in The Exchange, to yummy hot chocolate in The Atrium, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff in The Westin Dublin thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by KT23 A Great Hotel
My only faults with this hotel were that a promised 'welcome gift' for my two kids never materialised, and we were waiting a long time for our food in the basement bar, but apart from that we enjoyed a fantastic stay and otherwise couldn't fault the staff, room, efficiency etc. Slept like a log. Many thanks.

Our stay was fantastic. Our room was much larger than anticipated and extremely comfortable. The staff took care of us with speed and efficiency while still being extremely personable. Next time I come to Dublin I will definitely stay here again.

You couldn't ask for a better location. Right in the center of all the attractions and best pubs. The room is stylish and very clean. Noise was not an issue, even though our room faced a busy street. I would have prefered to have wireless internet and breakfast included, but the location was unbeatable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tm29 Must pay €6 per hour for internet?
Great city centre location is the big positive for this hotel. Our room was tiny, more for a single person than a couple. I was very surprised to see that internet did not come as standard in this 5 star hotel. €6 per hour or €15 for 24 hours is outrageous! I would not stay again because of this.

We had an excellent 4 night stay at the Westin Dublin in October, 2012. Our room was spacious and spotless and we looked out at Trinity College. The location was perfect for walking to all the sights of Dublin, which is a fantastic city! We would definitely stay at the Westin on our next visit.

Spent the last three days of a 10 day golf trip at the Westin. Had a bit of trouble receiving platinum upgrade, ask for and did not receive while others in party did get upgraded room. Great location, staff is wonderful, have to check out the Mint Bar downstairs. Would stay again if in Dublin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PAbuckeye Good location, small room
Right by Trinity College and easy to walk to all major sites. Did not receive a room upgrade as a Platinum. Room was very small - queen bed. Decorated in a more traditional style than I'm used to with other Westins. Bathroom was a decent size. I'd say this is a "good but not great" hotel.

It was our first time in Dublin. The Westin is in a great, central location near or with easy access to all the main attractions. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were all wonderful. From check in to departure, everyone was helpful, courteous, and cheery. Would definitely recommend.

Our time at the Westin Dublin was a superb experience. The staff was totally accommodating to our every request. There were a total of seven Mohens in three rooms along on this trip. I expect you'll receive the same comments from them. We had a wonderful time, "Thanksgiving in Ireland"

The Westin Dublin is really a great hotel and the facilities are wonderful (bar, restaurant, lobby). The gym is adequate, and the rooms and suites are spacious and well appointed. Combined with one of the best locations in Dublin, you can't go wrong with this hotel.

Really comfortable hotel that lives up to your Westin expectations. It is central to Trinity College, Grafton Street, Temple Bar & O'Connell Street.
I travelled as a single traveller and it was great for us as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MoMac Great, but bathrooms need maintenance
Our stay at the Westin Dublin was, overall, great. However, the shower in our bathroom was noticeably moldy (Room 418). I understand some mold, but there was visible mold on the ceiling and in the shower itself. Hopefully this can get addressed as it was troublesome.

Rated 4 out of 5 Phenomenal Hotel with one minor exception
What a great hotel in an even better location! You are steps away from Temple Bar and all it has to offer for tourists. You are also close to most anything you might need or want to see while there.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The on duty manager even arranged for our friends who were joining us to get a very early check in....0800 hrs.
The doorman, Peter, was very friendly and greeted us with a smile each and every time we entered or left the hotel.
The food at the Exchange Restaurant was very good and reasonable priced.
The only issue occurred when we noticed there was what seemed to be a small amount of mold on the ceiling over the shower and along the grouting. We reported it. They offered to move us but who wants to pack up and move after being there for 3 days. It took a total of 3 calls to finally get it fixed and it was done right.
They did offer 250 points for the "inconvenience" we suffered which I thought was a bit of a joke.
I would stay here again and recommend it very highly!

We loved staying at the Westin, with its great location. Our room wasn't ready upon arrival, and I wish the front desk had told us to go upstairs for afternoon tea because that atrium is a lovely spot. We ate in the bar twice and loved everything about our food and service.

We are glad be be a part of the Weston family

Rated 4 out of 5 by FlyBoyVancouver Good location, small rooms
I've stayed here a couple times, and the location can't be beat. The rooms are a bit small and on my last visit I found the service hit-or-miss (Got an early check-in, which was great, but later I waited ten minutes for change at the front desk, then gave up and left) .

(This is my wife's review in Trip Advisor)
My husband and and I stayed at the Westin for 6 nights during a recent October 2013 trip to Ireland. So many nice things about the hotel, but also some that are not so nice. We reserved the least expensive room, which was still quite expensive. The room was very clean but a bit small. The room was stocked with the usual Westin bath products, as well as a complementary bottle of water. The location was great and we particularly enjoyed our dinners in The Mint Bar. Breakfast is good too but overpriced. For the price it would have been nice to have free wifi in the room (versus having to go to the lobby or atrium for it) and a fridge. One great perk of staying at the Westin is their green choice. It was nice to get a 5 euro voucher when we opted not to get our room cleaned. Housekeeping checked in with us when we opted for green choice to make sure we didn't need any toiletries or towels. The gym is on the first floor, which one can access with a room key. It's stocked with great machines and there's even a bathroom in there.
Many friendly staff members helped us, including Jelena, Linda, Stefan and Peter the doorman. However, that wasn't the case with one young man we think is named Neil (another reviewer mentioned a guy with a smirk--this is most likely him). One late night my husband was sick and asleep in the room. I decided to go to the atrium to use my iPad (no free room wifi). Upon returning upstairs, my room key didn't work. I went to reception and explained the situation to Neil. His tone was quite rude and said he can only help me if I show photo id. I was in my pjs, husband is sickly and asleep, I don't have my id on me obviously. After repeating several times that I don't have my id and no way to get it without access to the room, he called a security guard to escort me upstairs. I gave Neil the key that didn't work and he wouldn't even let me touch it after he reprogrammed it. I completely understand the need for security but his tone made me feel like a criminal. I doubt a criminal would be in her pjs and if I weren't staying in the hotel I wouldn't have had the bad key in the first place. It would have been different if I didn't have a key. All the commotion woke my poor sickly husband up. So beware of Neil and/or if your key doesn't work. Carry id at all times, even in your pjs. Management called a day later to make sure I was ok and they said they would speak to the receptionist about his tone. I appreciated that.
