Hotel has great rooms but the parking cost $18 per day which is too costly.! You have to carry your luggage from the parking garage into hotel. No cart or help with luggage.
Nothing close by to eat, drink , or site seeing.
No breakfast for rooms that are upgraded or exective lounge for drinks and food.

Very disappointed in the hotel staff. Took over 1 hr to check in. A hotel next to a convention center should be able to check people in with out long waits. Waited over 30 minutes on someone to help take our bags down and then we gave up and took them our selves. Nice Hotel but not staffed very well

I great way to start the new year, the room needed a bit of attn, but however maid was very attentive, and heavnly we slept! A nice stay indeed-definite will stay at the westin downtown in charlotte, nc again, was dissappointed no Hot tub..but pool next day indoor was nice Heavenly Bed! Heavenly Stay!

Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was great. Awesome shower! Gorgeous view of Charlotte, NC.
Location was perfect. It was on walking distance to restaurants and other places in downtown Charlotte. Wi Fi in several locations.was very convenient.
Easy to check in and out. A really plaeasant stay!

over all, experience was great. However, if you wish improvement, check out your reception personnel; one employee might ruin your reputation. The rests of them are ok (just ok) except for one who took extra time explaining to cutormer. She is dark & short. Their name tags are not so visible.

We spent a long weekend at the Charlotte Westin and had a wonderful time. The room was very clean, the beds were REALLY comfortable and the bathroom rainshower feature was amazing.
Room service was REALLY good, we ordered different items every night as well as breakfast. YUM.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. Our room was upgraded due to the celebration and availability to a nice corner room on the 24th floor with a view of the skyline. A wonderful nights stay and excellent bedding as always with a Westin. Overall a wonderful stay.

Loved the hotel. Loved the room. Loved the food at Ember. Really felt like we got ripped off when the bill for my glass of Single Malt Whiskey came in at $31. Ive never paid more than $20 anywhere ever, and really felt like this was out of line. Food was great at Ember; service was marginal.

Only issue was with the cleanliness of the bathroom on my arrival. Also opted for green option without daily cleaning and room was supposed to be cleaned on day #3 of my stay and was never cleaned. Otherwise bed was very comfortable and had conference in hotel with excellent accommodations.

I had an excellent stay at the Westin. Any issue I had was immediately amended (a leak in the bathroom sink was fixed immediately). Room service was cordial and front desk met any requests I made in a timely manner. Every staff member I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful.
The pool was disappointing...small and not very clean. No hot tub. The gym was well equipped but not air conditioned...even offered gym clothes + shoes for very low cost if you forgot to pack yours. The locker rooms were beautiful...had separate steam rooms for men and women. The hotel restaurant was great...also had a separate bar located in the lobby.
They were doing work on one side of the building and I'm sure this will enhance some areas that were plagued with evidence of work being done (plastic and platforms).
The location was perfect! Saved a lot of money on gas because it was right downtown/uptown Charlotte. Was able to walk across the street to the art museum and various restaurants and a few blocks to the epicenter. **The hotel could have charged less for all day parking.**
This would be my first choice for another stay in Charlotte.

Upon arrival I was told my room was upgraded...If this was an upgrade I would hate to see a standard room. The conference facilities were like a wind tunnel. The minute the door to the conference room was opened I felt like I was in a hurricane. Staff did nothing to help fix the problem.

Great location for conferences and conventions. Everything you need is within walking distance and the hotel staff is very helpful when it comes to making sure you are able to get where you need to go.
And the beds are wonderful! Great for when you have long days in meetings!

During the two day conference with meeting attended by approximately 40 each day the conference room's heating/cooling did not once have to be "manually" raised or lower during the day to keep the audience comfortable. That's big plus. Also the rooms are large and well equipped.

This is the nicest suite I have ever stayed in. 2 rooms, 2 baths, separate entrances from the hall so as not to walk through the other person's space to get to my own! I would stay there again anytime.
An added extra was the extraordinary view as well.

The room was nicely laid out and my view was spectacular. I looked over downtown from the 21st floor. The proximity to some of downtowns restaurants and night life was also convenient.

We had a short one night stay at the Westin in Charlotte and were met with friendly staff and a great room. The location was great for walking around downtown but not too close that you were in the middle of everything. Thanks to the staff for making us feel like VIPs!

TV continually goes out - regardless of storms in the area and especially on channels holding high viewership programming (i.e the NBA Finals). ABC was out in room but they were showing it down in the lobby yet the excuse was storms in the area when there were clear skies.

We arrived late (11:50 pm) and were greeted by a very friendly staff and treated with great respect. We found the room very nice, comfortable and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds also. We visited the bar and were treated very courteously by the server.

Loved this hotel. Came to Charlotte for a getaway for my husband's birthday. Didn't know anyone or anything about Charlotte and the staff at this hotel did everything for us including booking tours, restaurant reservations, etc. Thanks Westin Charlotte downtown Staff.

The only complaint I have is I had set the thermostat on 60, High Fan to try to cool the room down. It stayed hot and stuffy the ehtire 3 days we stayed. I left with a horrible cold due to the temp in the room. Other than that the service and clenliness was AWESOME!!!!!!

Have stayed at other Westins and this was below standard. The restaurant was extremely slow. The internet continually cut out. The rooms were not cleaned until in the eve. When they did clean them towels were not left. The lounge was way overpriced. Not a very good stay.

My recent stay at the Westin Charlotte was wonderful. The moment you arrive you realize why you chose to stay there. The staff makes you feel special. The rooms are clean, spacious and provide you with a wonderful view.

Great beds!! Friendly staff:) I didn't like the high prices of soda and baked goods, across the street things are much more reasonable. Hallway noise carrys into the rooms so it can get noisy and they spray smelly stuff in the halls. I didn't care for the smell

This is a pet friendly hotel, great for pet owners. However, the pets tend to leave behind a mess in the carpet the hotel doesn't seen to clean very well within the rooms. There is only wifi in the lobby not in the rooms. Cleanliness of rooms is poor!!

The room was beautiful; food at the restaurants great; check in trouble free. Only problem is 2 of the five days we were there housekeeping never showed up. Unbelievable. That would cause us to not stay there again.
