I had stayed at this property previously and was very satisfied with my previous stay. I had business near the hotel and wanted to stay at a Starwood property. I wasn't disappointed this time around. However, a couple of notes: 1) according to the front desk staff, the hotel is in the process of converting the Presidential Suite into an Executive Lounge for Platinum members. An EXCELLENT improvement over their current "lounge in a closet". 2) apparently some of those renovation activities occur before 7:00 am. So if your are in a room near the future lounge, be prepared for some early morning hammering and general banging.

I've been staying at the Westin Forrestal Village pretty consistently for the last 9 months. The staff, in particular at the front desk Thierry and Chris and in the lounge Ricardo, Mo and Navin, go out of their way to make me and my fellow travel companions feel welcome and almost like family coming home. They truly make business travel much more comfortable and pleasant - a suburb experience over other local hotels.

I just spent the better part of a month in the Westin Forrestal Village. I can't think of one thing the staff could have done to make my stay any better! The staff is the most upbeat, friendly, funny, considerate group of people I have ever dealt with in a hotel. The Westin is lucky to have such a team. I can't wait to return to the east coast for my next month stay!

Froze at some points, too hot at other. The service was hit or miss- why would the cleaning staff clean the bathroom shortly after the meeting started- it should have been done prior to the meeting. The staff were disruptive when cleaning away the break food. when you know the meeting will break for lunch, why not just leave the morning break items until lunch instead of disrupting the meeting..
Not decaf coffee in the sleeping room.

The relaxing atmosphtere at the Westin in Princeton along with the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable. The feeling is similar to visiting relatives you love spending time with. It truly was one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in a long time. Have already booked another stay for later this month. Cannot wait - Edie Sause

This is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are really well appointed. Everything looks and smells brand new. The staff could not be nicer. Two big questions. Why would you close down a pool for the season in mid-September when it's warm and sunny? Also, I booked myself on a "Limited Access" Concierge floor (6). I would love someone to explain to me what is so limited access about it? You don't need a key card to get to 6th floor in the elevator nor is their a club lounge. So is the extra room fee just for free internet and bottled water? Really?

The hotel room had an extremely musty smell as soon as you walked in and none of the windows would open. The window frame was covered in mold. The robe was all dirty and the screws for the blinds were falling out of the wall.

I appreciated a room upgrade at check-in to the Executive Level. Unfortunately, i had a bad experience with the my room's key card.
I woke up and went to the 6th floor and attempted to bring breakfast and coffee back to my room. My key card did not work and while I am trying to get the key to work, i spill my coffee and all my breakfast. I proceed to go to the front desk for a replacement key and rather than spend the two cents on a new card, the front desk rep reprograms my existing key. This all takes 15 minutes because there is a line to check out and I need an escort to my room because I left my ID in the room. I go back to the sixth floor to replace my ruined breakfast and again my reprogrammed room card does not work.. Back to the front desk a second time and finally a new key card!!!!
Very bad way to start my day
Why don't you have a lounge for the Executive Level. The area is too small and a joke.
Why don't you give ne replacement cards rather then reprogramming defective ones.
Why is there only one front desk rep on at 7:00am?

My wife and I both had meetings in the Princeton, NJ area and we were able to coordinate the dates and travel together. We arrived Sunday after noon to sit by the pool before our Monday meetings. I was able to meet with a colleague in a sitting area off the lobby to prepare for our meeting. The room and staff were great. Already planned a stay there next month.

Although it was a great stay, the room was very dusty when we arrived and our only problem was the room next to us decided to pull an all nighter. We were next to a presidential suite and there were people coming in and out all night. I guess I should of called the front desk, but I was hoping that they would go to sleep but never did.

I am a frequent guest at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village and unfortunately noticed on this past stay an increasing lack of WiFi in several rooms - I had to be moved three times. I credit David at the front desk who had to run around to multiple room to find one with “full bars”. I implore you to remedy the WiFi situation as even in past stays I have experienced weak signals.

From the moment we stepped out of our car, it was an absolute breeze and pleasure staying at your location. Everyone from the doorman to the front desk agents, concierge to housekeeping greeted us with a smile and treated us with the utmost regard. I can honestly say that your stellar staff matches and exceeds the level of expertise of quality hotels worldwide.
On a personal note, a tremendous thank you goes out to Mr. Dawan Turner who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was exceptional.

I'M NOT SURE HOW CROWDED THE HOTEL WAS WHEN I STAYED BUT THEY PUT US ON THE SECOND FLOOR NEXT TO THE CONFERENCE ROOMS AND THEIR NEW WORKOUT CENTER. WE HAD ASKED FOR A LATE CHECK OUT AS WAS PART OF OUR PACKAGE BUT LEFT EARLY BECAUSE OF THE NOISE AND WE DID NOT WANT TO SWITCH ROOMS AT THAT TIME.

There are two staff in the restaurant that provided excellent service this week. Rodney and Alberto were quick to serve each of my breakfasts, always got the order right and were attentive if i needed anything during my meal without being distracting. They both have great work attitudes and understand what customer service really means. They would be a great addition to my staff! I look forward to seeing them on my next stay.

Came to the Westin Princeton for a "get away" and also to go to a family wedding. It was the 4th of July weekend and the staff was ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL in any questions I had or suggestions on how to get from one place to the other. GREAT STAFF and WONDERFUL WESTIN.

The features and amenities of this hotel were very nice. The staff were warm and gracious and always helped with a smile. My only discomfort was at night whenever the room's AC system kicked in, which was frequently. The clicking was load enough to wake me up each time, making it very difficult to get a good night's sleep in the the comfortable bed. Other than that, I would stay again at the Westin Princeton at Forrestial Village.

This hotel needs a lot of improvement. Here are my findings from check in to check out during my 12 day: 1) check-in, I was told that there are no-rooms available, but my co-worker who tried to check in after me we offered a room if she wanted it- which she declined. Only after finding out about the offer, I came back and asked for that room, which they gave me. 2) On the 3rd day, when I first allowed the servicing of my room, it was cleaned, but the toilet paper with a about a foot left on was not replaced, and no new shampoo, conditioner or lotion was replaced either even after she took the $3 tip. 3) waiting at their parallel restaurant to be seated, I waited 10 minutes, then went to the front desk to ask if there was anyone working- which the front desk person called someone to come and seat me. On another night, at the Lattitudes lounge- essentially a waiting area in the lobby, the waiter was fast asleep at the corner table. I waited 15 minutes to realize he was sleeping on the job, so I again had to seek the help of the front desk to wake the guy up. 4) and at the fitness enter, 3 of the treadmills were not working properly- the one left was. There were no towels and nobody around to ask for help. The sanitizing wipes were both empty. On another night, while running, this housekeeper comes in and starts spraying down the floor creating noxious smells while i was running. I stopped and kindly asked that he wait to clean, so he moved to about 10 feet away and kept cleaning, Needless to say, i stopped. I was not the only one in my company to report the same kind of problems. Please improve your services, even if you know our company is going to continue booking us at your hotel. Good grief.

-Good location at Forrestal Village, close to restaurants and nearby companies.
-Nice and overall clean hotel.
-Super comfortable beds.
-Great staff at the front desk and for room service, always friendly.
-Convenient shuttle service.
-Many issues with housekeeping, half-cleaning the rooms, not replacing bottles of shampoo etc. 2 weeks ago a housekeeping lady walked in when I was in the shower, and instead of apologizing she complained because I didn't answer when she knocked.
-Maintenance could be improved: some rooms (666, 466...) are in bad shape, cardio equipment of fitness center is clearly not well maintained.
-Limited room service options, and service is slow (45 mins). "Grab and go" breakfast always in short supply.
-Several times, I was given double beds when I specifically booked a king bed.
Overall, I enjoy staying at this hotel but I haven't seen any signs of improvement on those "cons" over the past 2 years.

I have stayed numerous times at this hotel. Good option in Princeton, with a decent bar, excellent bartender. Rooms are a little worn out and limited suite upgrades. Overall decent to stay. Will come again.

For $250 per night in Central New Jersey, I would have expected better conditions and service. The room was average, but certainly not worth the amount I was paying. I asked for wake up calls both mornings and never received either. The desk chair was broken and they replaced it, but the replacement was not much better even though it worked. This facility is not up to what I would expect of a Westin for starters and certainly not what I would expect for the price paid.

Just stayed in this hotel last Friday night with my wife on may10th for her birthday. Everything seemed to be a nice hotel but when we got into the room the frige still had stuff in it from someone else and the bathroom wasn't that clean.
The kicker is the walls are paper thin! Yes you could hear a person do everything. Me and my were rudely woken up at 6am on a Saturday from a persons tv next door. My wife spoke to the front desk that morning checking out and promised her 1000 points for our inconvenience but they haven't done it. I hate hotels that promise but never deliver. This hotel isn't worth the overall money of a westin.

When I booked this hotel, I had reserved an executive business room with a king bed. After checkin, I get to my room and find out that, they had instead given me a standard double bed. When I called the frontdesk of the mistake, it wasn't a mistake on their end. They really did give my room to someone else. I was dumbfounded at how this could happen. They also didn't refund me the difference. The next day, they put me in the proper room. No apologies nor reconciliation. That was the last time I stayed at this hotel.

I lived in this hotel numerous times before and have witnessed its quality continuous to drift down. In my recent stay of four nights, the bathroom shampoo/lotion/soap never got replenished. The air condition worked poorly. The worst was when I returned to hotel at 11 PM in one night, only found my room door wide open with all lights and TV were on. Apparently the neglegient cleaning folk left in a hurry in the afternoon. Luckily, I didn't loss any personal belongs. But this kind of thing should never have happened with Westin.

While the Westin Princeton was fine, my expectations of the Westin brand is higher than "fine". There were dirty red wine glasses on the windowsill outside our room when we checked in at 6 pm-ish. When we left the room to check out, one of the employees was lying down, apparently asleep, on the bench beside the 3rd floor elevators. In general the hotel seemed minimally outfitted and pretty vacant. There weren't any special touches or services that I've come to expect from Westin.
