Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed Arrived 6/6/2016 and as a gold member requested an upgrade if available. I was told there would be one if we were willing to wait until guest checked out,which we agreed to do. I waited over 2 hours and inquired again regarding upgrade with a different front desk rep. We were advised there was no chance of an upgrade since none were available and would not be for days. Obviously this was disappointing after being told one would be available. The hotel is not up to Westin standards as I have previously experienced and would not stay there again and cannot recommend it to others. Pretty tired property without good restaurant or other facilities. June 9, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Westin Las vegas A few things need improvement. I have GOLD status but I did not get an upgrade. I checked with my friend, she does not have any status but her room was the same. Hpusekeeping services was patchy - out of 4 days only 2 days they did housekeeping AC was uncomfortable, selection of channels was poor, quality of TV bad June 7, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Unsatisfactory This seems like a very old building which was cheaply renovated. The A/C in our room didn't work (100* temps outside) and the room had an overall unpleasant smell. We called the front desk for help and they sent a kind and overworked engineer to check on the intake. He quickly said to set the thermostat to the lowest setting and see what happens. No change in temp so we got a very impatient and very angry employee to walk us to another room. Once we caught up to him and checked out the room, it also was very hot inside with no working A/C, so we chose to stay in our original room. Sadly, everywhere else was booked for the night and we couldn't leave our room. The saggy bed was fine until it was soaked in our sweat. If you've had a great experience with Westin in the past, don't expect the same from here. May 16, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel experience This hotel was the highlight of my vegas trip! The staff were great and the rooms were good. Pool is heated and open 24/7 I dont like huge casino hotels so this was good for us. No upgrades were available for me but the hotel was sold out so I can live with that. I was dissappointed that the hotel stopped the evening reception with no notice but its a small thing in the long run. Platinum breakfast was not offered for one adult and two kids under 11 which suprised me but I could live with that too. April 21, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff was great I only stayed one night passing through town with my family. Staff contacted me via email asking if they could do anything to make my stay more comfortable. I asked for an upgrade to a higher floor with a view. Two hours later it was confirmed. Staff in hotel was great also. The facility itself was ok but nothing special. April 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Staff & Property I have been staying here for the last 10 years almost since they redid the old Maxim and got rid of the Tupac image! This is a great property, the staff is always fantastic, and the last remodel is super tasteful. The only thing they need to improve is the lobby/casino music! The valet and bar staff will remember your name and appreciate a smile and thank you! Thank you to everyone on site at this property that makes me look forward to this week long stay year in and year out! March 29, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by If you like cold showers and are not in town for business While we all understand that not all rooms can be ready earlier, I arrived early (as announced in response to their inquiry via email prior to my stay) and room was only ready at 3pm. While I was waiting, there is no ability to conduct any form of work or phone call in a quiet area. The room was Westin standard and allowed to rest comfortably. I ran out of hot water in the shower after about 2 minutes. The breakfast buffet is inexplicably expensive. When inquiring about the hot water, I was provided with a litany of excuses and that "they has experienced it throughout that day". I never received my folio via email as it requested at check-in and on my SPG profile, and had to follow up multiple times to get it (I still don't have it). The only reason I could see for staying there is for the Starwood points, but not for the platinum status as it provides absolutely no benefit. March 26, 2016
