Rated 5 out of 5 by Explorer Great time
My wife and I stayed one night, hotel is impressive, front desk was helpful, the room was nice and clean so the bathroom. We used the sauna (bit small) and the normal size swimming pool which is just for swimming. Gym is big and well equipped. The location is good, 10 minutes walk to the main shopping area, it was full with Christmas street booths, selling mostly hand made products, there were a huge tent with beer benches and music on the main square . Just watch out for the trams while walking. We had wonderful romantic dinner in the hotel's restaurant, it is really beautifully decorated, the food was great and tasty, the cocktails too!

the hotel was ok. The carpet on the 8th floor was loose and needed to be fixed. The staff in the bar was overwhelmed and slightly rude. The breakfast was good, but it took forever to get coffee from the staff and the did not appear to reset or clean the tables off when guests were finished. The gym was nice, but the treadmills slipped and kept having errors. I had to unplug them several times to actually get them to reset and work. I was not impressed with the hotel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JNA1 Cosy, comfortable bedrooms
The hotel exterior is not particularly alluring and looms rather out-of-place over the city of Zagreb. Once inside things improve. The rooms within are very comfortable and the towering structure offers the benefit of good views for those within.
Full marks for the high-quality bed linens and fluffy bathroom towels, much-appreciated after a long, tiring drive from Belgrade.
The staff are charming and helpful, particularly in the bar. Perhaps the bar could be better located in one of the corner conference rooms. One feels as if sat in an airport lounge - overlooked by a busy thoroughfare, but this might be a personal preference for cosy rather than wide-open areas to enjoy a whisky or cocktail.
Tip: Find an excuse to visit the conference suite on the upper-most floor. The views across the city to the distant hills are fantastic; a great place for a party.

Rated 5 out of 5 by supatight80 AMAZING STAFF & EXCELLENT PLATINUM RECOGNITION
Oh how I sooo love the people working here! Front office Manager Vera, Katherina, and the rest of the crew truly made me feel welcome.
Such great hospitalitý and kodus to their GM (I forgot his name) for emphasizing how excellent customer interaction is of utmost importance as front liners ALWAYS leave a lasting impression.
They were always prompt and FAST for everything I needed, from private guided tours (which I recommend btw) to whatever was required from me.
BTW, they upgraded me to their guest office room (it's a SUITE FYI). So platinum members, dont be shock if it's only called a guest office room as it's a suite, not some tiny little room.
I forgot my Dior sunglasses in the car and without even me asking for it, the concierge brought it up to my room! Talk about honesty!!!
Oh I just LUV the people working here, from housekeeping and to especially Front Office Manager Vera who really gave me 1on1 special treatment. So happy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by PAbuckeye Standard high-quality Westin
Stayed here in 2007. Easy walk from the train station. Just like a nice Westin in the US, which was a pleasant surprise. Amenity was a bottle of Chardonay. Great showers. A slight walk to the "action" (bars, restaurants, old town).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Megtotheweb Wonderful Staff
The property could be a bit updated but what makes this a 5 star experience is the lovely staff. Upgraded to a suite for one of our rooms which was lovely and definitely recognized as a Platinum member. Arranged day trips (car service) through the concierge which were affordable and awesome. Also great restaurant recommendations. We loved Zagreb and the Westin staff is most likely the best in town!
