Rated 2 out of 5 by MarkSPG093 No longer up to Westin reputation
Sadly, this property is no longer up to the Westin standard. As a SPG gold member, I've stayed here numerous times (exclusively when in the buckhead area). Will definately check out other properties next time due to lack of care / responsiveness of management

Rated 2 out of 5 by Chadlet Huge, beautiful hotel room that made me sick
I really want to give this hotel a four star rating, I really do. Check-in was a breeze. The staff were pretty much amazing. The room was beautiful, huge and comfortable. The problem was my allergies. Upon opening the door it was like walking into a wall. Some sort of a scent that I just couldn't put my finger on...I couldn't tell if it was a cleaning product or just stale air, and I considered going to the front desk to ask to change rooms but I didn't want to be one of "those people" so I didn't. I went in the room and cranked up the AC. That was Sunday night. Monday the air quality was no better and thanks to that I hadn't slept very well, went off to the conference I was attending, came back to the room feeling even more tired, again noticed the strange odor or staleness, and went right to bed. Tuesday morning I woke up with swollen sinuses, runny nose and a scratchy throat. When I returned from the conference I asked the front desk if I could change rooms, but the hotel was fully booked; I asked if they could at least change the AC filter and they sent up two building engineers within about an hour. The engineers told me they could have an ozone generator run in my room the next day while I was out (they specifically stated I could not be in the room while it was running), so when I woke up Wednesday feeling the same as I always do when I have a sinus infection I asked the front desk to do that. Came back to the room that night and found the ozone generator still running in the room, so I went back to the front desk to ask for it to be removed. I gave my cell number and they said they'd call me once it was done. I had nowhere to go and between not sleeping well, being on the path to a sinus infection, and having walked all over the Georgia Congress Center, I was exhausted and wanted only for privacy and to unwind. I walked over to a couch in the lobby to sit down and my phone rang almost instantly that my room was ready. Went back upstairs, closed the door and sat my bag down and almost immediately there was a knock at my door. The housekeeper asked if I wanted her to spray, and I looked at the can in her hand and asked if it was a scented product, she said no. I could see on the can it was some kind of an odor neutralizer, and I figured she'd give a little spritz in the room, but she walked throughout the room spraying all the carpeting, draperies, and couch, leaving a literal cloud in the room. I couldn't believe it. She helped me prop the door open with a towel but I couldn't handle being in the room, my sinuses were swollen shut at this point and I felt like a total buffoon. Air quality in the hallway was perfect. Air quality in my room was absolutely toxic. Sealed windows, overuse of products, climate control that apparently doesn't exchange outside (fresh) air into the rooms, and housekeeping that doesn't properly air out the rooms. It's now over a week since I left this hotel and, while I am feeling dramatically better thanks to having good air quality while sleeping, I'm still taking cold medicine to alleviate the symptoms of the sinus infection I got after my allergies were so irritated by this room. While I don't fault the staff (they were just doing their job, and they were very attentive to my requests and genuinely concerned), the rooms need a serious evaluation of air quality and the housekeeping practices need to be reviewed to make sure they are in alignment with said evaluation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BMG19 Beautiful hotel in a great location
The hotel is extremely modern and located Ina great part of Atlanta. Not in the direct downtown area, Buckhead is a bit more quiet. Located right next to great shopping and easy access to the freeway and highlights of Atlanta, we really loved this hotel.
The only issue was the lack of SPG recognition and the front desk manager was extremely unhelpful and somewhat rude. Luckily, anither visit to the front desk lead us to Atiyyah who was so helpful and accommodating. She definitely turned the night around with her kindness.

Beautiful hotel décor and amenities. Desk clerks extremely courteous and accommodating. Excellent city location. Housekeeping service should be more timely.
