Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent! Worth every penny Wonderful hotel with great amenities and beautiful decor! Only downfall is parking, whether you valet or self-park there is a charge either way. Other than that, everything is worth it! Great experience, would definitely go back! March 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Consistently Good experience In a day when inconsistency is the norm, this hotel consistently does it right! Will always select as my hotel of choice in the Tampa area, depending on going rates. Typically more than neighboring hotels, but also typically better. Pros: *Location - easy in and out and great view of the bay. *Parking - cheap valet...yes, I said cheap valet. Same price as self park. No brainer! *Cleanliness - always seems like its new. *Staff - always see the same people, so they hire and retain the staff, which is rare and great these days *A Starbucks in the Lobby - I don't drink coffee, but I know many do and would want to know. Cons: *SPG recognition. Stay here very often and only upgraded to suite twice. in fairness, they are usually well booked, but there are a few suites that are really nice and would love to get these more based on how often I stay and my status..I'm just saying, i worked hard for my 50+ nights/year *Restaurant - couldn't had a better restaurant. It's OK and you can find a few good meals, but not consistent *Room selection - stay away from the 32 stack. Service elevator near that room that makes this quiet and relaxing hotel annoying Hey, I keep coming back for more, so this place is a great option in Tampa, especially without many good options. Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice stay It was nice. The front desk guy was pleasant. I would only upgrade the sheet quality and the towel quality. I would also make some one patrol the halls and collect the dirty dishes there were too many trays in the halls. April 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Really nice hotel Very comfortable room and bed. Easy parking and nice gym. The one downfall would be the WiFi service. It is very slow and consistently knocks out of service which it not helpful when you are trying t get work completed. April 1, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by poorly managef I reserved adjoining rooms, checked in and placed cc for both rooms. When my second party arrived was put into another room. Hotel grounds not clean up over night. And rooms were not serviced until after 4 pm April 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A beautiful hotel My fiance and I recently stayed at the Westin, Tampa Bay. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean, and the staff was very friendly. We ate at the hotel resturant, Aqua, which was amazing. We had an excellent bartender there who really took the time to explain menu options and made the experience such a pleasure. The only downfall was that we went to the hotel to stay and specifically look at it as a possible venue for our wedding ceremony and reception, and we felt very "rushed through" the process. We weren't given any prices AT ALL for anything. We didn't go over any menu options, we weren't shown any suites in the hotel, which is most likely where we would be staying on our wedding night, we had to ask to be taken out to the beach part of the hotel where some weddings take place. I honestly received more information from reading the information online on the Westin website. We left with no brochures, no prices, and no list of preferred venues. We have another appointment set up this Saturday, so I hope this visit will be more informative, as we absolutely love the hotel! August 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Immaculate friendly hotel Everyone was not only friendly, but sincere. From the lobby to our room it was immaculate. The outdoor area was perfect with a little beach, bar and excellent restaurant, Aqua. Highly recommend this hotel. April 11, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by location not convient. Food was good. Rooms were good.location was not convient to doing things outside of what the hotel offered. Couldn't walk anywhere because of traffic and lack of sidewalks. Very expensive taxi fares. March 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is great. Location is perfect, whether for business, shopping or a trip to the beach. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and those heavenly beds are very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff was very helpful. We will be back. March 1, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by The hotel is good, but can do with some simple forward customer service I stay here every week and will be using this long term for business stays. For all the allure associated with a brand name like Westin, i have seen better room service at smaller hotel chains and even at other Westins. Staff ahould check on their systems already if a member is Platinum / Gold and not assume and state policies. Like when i asked about the lounge times i was told that its available only to platinum members (automatically assumed that i was not).... My room is my home away from home. I use the stuff provided in my room. As such it needs to be replenished every day. That is a minimum expectation. I love the service express concept, but i ahouldnt be required to use that to meet my expectations all the time. I havent seen anything special that acts as a trigger for Long term business travellers who will stay at lengths at this property to prefer you over other properties. That said i love the location, the views and the ambience i percieve. The ground staff who receive you, the valets are very courteous and some even remember you from past stays that gives a warm personal touch as i check in week after week. August 5, 2012
