Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall a good experience Well....It started off as the worst hotel experience! When I first arrived to check to check around 3:30pm was told there was no rooms available and it would be a 45 minute. Just drove 13 hours and all i wanted was a shower and relax before a meeting, but didn't happen and meeting had to be cancelled.. After the first 45 min wait it was followed up by another 30min, then another 45 min to hour wait... When it was all said and done I didn't get into my room until about 6:45. the 3 hr wait was not acceptable and felt there should have been better communication done whether its a phone call or email letting people know of the wait.. spoke with managers about it and my concern, but nothing they could do. I've stayed at other Westin's in the past and this was the first something like this happened, but my first impression of this hotel was not great at all, but the staff and management took care of me they all went above and beyond, more than I ever expected. The restaurant manager was so helpful and by far the bar manager was soo sweet and did more than needed the whole bar staff was all phenomenal... The room was nice and clean, amazing view of the bay and a comfy bed, and the food and drinks where great. Would definitely come back July 6, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Unwanted People staying in the same hotel...paid less than me and had a better experience. I had a Jr Deluxe Suite.....sounds good right? It wasn't, the AC wouldn't get cold. The view out the window while we are on Tampa Bay was of a bunch of AC units. Three elevators there which only two worked and it took forever to get a response of the elevator. No outdoor pool. Bars and lounges closed early. Not very user friendly July 5, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice stay I live in the area and this was a 2 night staycation for our anniversary. Friendly staff, but noisy and only 1 elevator working. Maid walked in when I had the privacy hanging on my door. Otherwise OK for the average Westin. July 1, 2016

Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed The hotel is lovely and the room luxurious. However, the heat/A.C. was very loud in the evening. Then when I went to shower, there was no bathrobe but an empty hanger instead. I later found out there was no shampoo in the bathroom. By the time I realized, it was too late to ask for someone to bring it to me. I would have thought that in such a high star hotel that these details would not have been overlooked. April 13, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by Treated rudely and without conern for m y situation by manager I had booked a room at this hotel online with my SPG account. Unfortunately, somehow the date got change to 2 days prior to my actual arrival. When I requested the Hotel manager to credit that night and move to the night I did arrive, he was very rude and stated its not our policy and even had to charge me a much higher fee than my corp rate for the night I did stay. I have spent 340 nights over 17 yrs as an spg member and I was treated this way. March 10, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Staff and management has an attitude While the hotel itself is nice enough, the staff, particularly management was incredibly unhelpful and had a very condescending attitude upon check-in. My wife arrived before me and checked in and they told her she could not honor my Platinum status or even keep my SPG number on record until I arrived which was going to be much later. We have stayed at hundreds of Starwood hotels and many times had to check-in at different times and this has never been an issue. They told her I would have to re-checkin and move rooms once I arrived after 11pm which I found ridiculous. The manager had an attitude and kept saying it was policy. We promptly cancelled the reservation, went to another Starwood hotel in the area with absolutely NO issue and great service. Plenty of other options in the Tampa area, so don't waste your time here!
