I opted to take the green choice when checking in. It was not explained fully and the lack of room cleaning and failure to replenish coffee etc in the room was simply not in harmony with the brand and price category for a Westin hotel. Save on laundry yes, save on basic services - no thank you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Prize Heavenly bed was not heavenly
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, but the heavenly bed was in dire need of replacement. It sunk where too many bodies had laid previously. It was very clean and that's always important to me. Others said their bed was just fine so I apparently was just unlucky in room assigment.

My family and I love the Westin Arlington. Our son attends college in the DC area so the Westin is our go-to spot when we visit our son. We are never disappointed by the comfort of the room and the caring concern of the staff. Keep up the great work! We highly recommend the Westin Arlington.

Rated 3 out of 5 Good hotel, staff at front needs more training
Almost everything went great until I was checking out. I didn't use internet service in my room during my stay, but there was one time charge, when I questioned about it, the female staff at front desk was literally yelling at me. That ruined every positive feels I had about this hotel.

I received a hot rate and was never offered the discount card normally given to hot rate customers which gives a 50% off discount at the facility. I did not find out about this benefit until I returned from my trip. Beside this disappointment, we were pleased with the accomodations.

1) Smoke alarm unexplainably went off at about 6AM and again about 7AM.
2) Unable to set alarm clock so used cellphone alarm.
3) Shower appears elegant, but difficult to use because diverter valve from tub to shower barely functional.
4) Otherwise, bed and room very comfotable.

This hotel is very clean and has a staff that bends over backward to make sure that your stay is memorable. It is located among restaurants and shopping. I parked my car when I checked in and I did not retrieve my car until I checked out....I definitely will stay here again .

Bed, shower, staff , cleanliness and dining are abovevaverage. .. Room AC was poor (rrm 716) Online confusion about room . Misleading. Also did. not know Club not open on weekend. Surprised that bar closes at 10:30pm. Never received fresh soap . Not sure if I would recommend.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel on business travel. I found it to be perfectly situated for my needs while in the Washington DC area. Rooms are comfortable and very clean as are the public spaces. I would recommend this property to any business traveler.

Great stay. The staff was wonderful. We had a drainage problem in sink but someone was sent up within 15 minutes and it was fixed. Will stay here again.The spa we used each night and relax after alot of walking in DC.The beds were comfortable and the showers are great too.

Was disappointed in that parking was not included in the price of the room. We were not told that we were going to have to pay for parking. It was added to our bill after we checked out of the hotel. We will probably not stay at this hotel again because of the parking.

Room was fine but local TV channels did not work. There were no plugs by the bed. The iron lid was missing so water would leak when in use. Overall, it was ok could use a careful look at upgrading the details. Gym was nice, restaurant fair. Employees were great though.

As is usually the case, Westin meet my expectations for this visit. Clean, comfortable rooms, but there was a good deal of road noise (Glebe Rd view). The crib I requested was thankfully waiting in the room, I do appreciate a hotel reading the notes in my reservation.

I thought this is a great hotel, My was I wrong the outside is great but the room service food is terrible and not worth the money that you are paying for.the carpet in the room was stained . not enough luggage carts. Next time I will stay some where else for sure.

Very enjoyable stay. Great customer service setting a comfortable tone. Room was great and I was very pleased with the cleanliness and how comfortable the bed was. Highly recommend this hotel and will be sure to stay there again in the future if I am in the area.

I was in the area for an extended business trip and The Westin Arlington Gateway was a perfect home-away-from-home. There is a nice, albeit small, gym and plenty of great places to eat nearby. The recommended jogging path along the Curtis & W&OD Trails is perfect!

My family and I stayed at this hotel over the wekend. The staf starting at the front desk to the resturant and lobby lounge was very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and business associates. I will surely stay here again

I arrived early in the day after an overnight trip and the front desk staff were able to get me into a room so I could shower change before heading to a meeting. Fantastic service, nice Reception in the lobby at the end of the day.
Great access to the Metro.

We had a very nice, lovely stay at this Westin. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room was very nice. The hotel is nearby the metro station so without no worries of parking you can visit Washington DC. This Westin has also a very good restaurant.

I was scheduled to stay the weekend that hurricane Sandy was hitting the east coast. I was not able to make the trip and because of the craziness forgot to cancel my stay. Westin credited me my money back! Amazing customer service. Thank you so much!!!!!

I have stayed at a number of Westin properties. Tis one seems to be average at best. I was happy to get an upgrade to the "Executive" level, but it seems that the rooms are not anything special, and certainly does not compare to the Sheraton Club rooms.

I travel quite a bit. I really don't ask much of a hotel. But the staff at the Westin, far exceeded anything I could have asked for. Service was prompt, and I felt like I didn't have to take care of any details on my own! The hotel staff did it for me!

The hotel took care of every need. The swimming pool was in great shape. The concierge brought up extra coffee and a tooth brush we needed. The hotel was in great shape. The $25 a day for valet is a bit steep but we would definitely stay there again.

We were in a suite and liked the layout. However, the Refrigerator didn't work. The bathroom sink didn't drain well at all. A card listing the TV channels was missing, and there were crumbs and a plastic knife when the sofa bed was opened.

Great hotel in location central to the Arlington business/government services community and with easy access to DC. Great proximity to Reagan airport and to Metro. Only downside is exercise equipment is often fully in use in the mornings.

The hotel is great except it does not offer complimentary wifi in the guest's room. That was my only disappointment in our stay. Such a small addition would have made for a nicer stay.

We had a great stay. On our check out day, both Andrew at the front desk and Carlos at Pinzimini went above and beyond the call of duty allowing us to have a fantastic breakfast even before the restaurant opened. We cannot wait to come back.

Im glad i stayed at the westin Arlington Hotel. I highly recommend this hotel because of the service they have, the attention for their customers, food, recreational area (GYM, POOL, etc), location for going running, malls, pharmacies, etc.
