Rated 3 out of 5 by Extremely Poor Service Staff lost a friends valet and took over 45 minutes to retrieve the vehicle. Room was dirty upon check in. Requested water from the hotel staff and was told the hotel did not have any water bottles, however taht they would bring water up to the room. 30 minutes later I called back about the water they apologized and said it would be right up. 20 minutes later i went down to the lobby and got it myself. Rated 5 out of 5 by wonderful weekend I stayed for the weekend and was treated like a queen. The hotel was clean and more than comfortable…it was perfect. The staff was not only very professional they were always willing to help you out. Their meeting/event facilities were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. August 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Front Desk and Wake up The gentleman who checked me in at the front desk was great - very personable and signed me up for your rewards program on the spot - very positive person. The only negative of the visit is that I requested a wake up call at 5:45 and then they asked if I wanted a followup at 6 which I said yes. I received no wake up call at all - luckily I had my blackberry alarm set so I was not late for my meetings. October 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by I love this hotel...not a great experience this time! Any time I am in the Chicago area I chose to stay at the Lombard Westin. This time I chose to stay in one of the expaned corner King suites. The room was fantastic with great views, very quite and beyond comfortable. The wall heater in the large bathroom did not work so the large tiled room was so cold my wife and I had to wear our sox and shoes to get to the shower...very cold and uncomfortable! Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel and Rate, but Far From City The nightly rates and free parking help even out the inconvenience of being so far from downtown Chicago (half-hour drive on the highways, likely to hit tolls) if that's what you will primarly do during the course of your stay. Otherwise, very clean and conveniently located for other needs. The Target is literally next door in case you need to purchase anything at all. I don't shop while on vacation, but the mall is next door, too, with a movie theater. Nothing locally-oriented as far as restaurants - typical suburbia with chain restaurants that close before 11pm (a problem because we didn't arrive at our hotel until around midnight on the first night without having dinner). The staff was genuinely cordial, the room was very clean, the size of our room was suitable (the closet was just a little smaller than I was expecting), and bathroom was spotless (shower only, we didn't want a tub). Rated 4 out of 5 by We had a very enjoyable stay at this Hotel We stayed in a Jr suite to stay in. this was a very nice way to spend our weekend for my wife's birthday.Tthe room was clean, and comfortable, with enough room for both of us to spread out and relax for the 2 night stay. Both of the restaurants within the hotel were a bit pricey, but the quality of the service and the food was very good. I would recommend this hotel to others for a weekend away. December 12, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Noise issue Upon checkout we advised the staff about the noise level around 2:30 AM - 3:30 AM. We were in room 215 which was directly outside of the workout area. Someone was lifting weights, and dropping them, instead of setting them down. Needless to say, this was quite loud. The staff did give us a partial credit on our stay, which was very nice of them. We loved the hotel, and restaurants. Except for one waitress at Harry Carays, who was not very friendly or attentive, especially since we were sitting out on the patio, with our dog (after getting their ok for the dog to be there), she brought our drinks and appetizer and did not bring napkins or silverware. We waited a while, and my husband eventually went in to get them. Other than that issue, we enjoyed the Westin, and will definately stay there again. Even the dog enjoyed the treats he received when we walked in! Our son lives in Lombard and we will definately be traveling back there from Ohio! July 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel has great features However, the hotel has gone slightly seedy since my first 2 or 3 visits. Carpets throughout the facility need cleaning or replacement. The overstuffed furniture in my room also needed cleaning or replacement. Every desktop or table top seemed sticky. However the bed was very clean and comfortable as was the bathroom and shower. I still like the hotel and will stay again, but it does need work. July 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good hotel for conference My daughter had a 3 day dance intensive this past weekend. We stayed Thursday through Sunday. The room was nice and clean but a little stuffy. It was great to have starbucks coffee and tazo tea in the room. We requested a refrigerator and did not get one. Only one room in our group of 8 rooms got one. This was difficult since the girls needed cold drinks for dancing. The shuttle service was overwhelmed with requests after I had been told it would be no problem to get a shuttle to the train station or to the rental car office. That being said, David was an excellent driver and very friendly. I think the hotel was understaffed in a sold out situation. I had to ask for free wifi instead of points. I had to make sure that I had the late check out. We were charged 2.25 for each call to my cell phone and 5.75 for each connected talking call to my cell phone-- it would have been nice to see the prices posted. The pool was very nice for the girls as was the outdoor deck. July 21, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel does not treat SPG members well I booked my room in January, but when I arrived for a convention in July, I had been bumped from my room and sent to another hotel in the next town. This happened to numerous convention attendees, and continued for those arriving later in the week. There was no recognition for being an SPG member!!!! July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful place to stay I have stayed at this hotel many times. It ranks up there with the best that Westin has to offer in terms of comfort and service. I highly recommend this hotel. Beds are the best, rooms are always in perfect order, great food choice in the area and the service and attitude of the hotel staff is exceptional. July 25, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by needs improvement Our stay was for our anniversary we requested a late ck out. The next morning our room door was knocked on 3 times by staff for cleaning, re stocking of the fridge etc... I made mention at ck out & the response was we were marked as a late ck out :( I also felt one of my pillows had a not good scent. I just removed it from the bed & did not sleep on it. I did not mention this to staff. October 2, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Hotel, Could be Great The hotel was really up to date and fancy, but certain things definitely could have been improved. I wasn't able to get my room the right temperature for 24 hours at least and I'm not sure why it had been set to cool to the 50s prior to arrival. I had to have some lights replaced also and the place was dark before I figured that out. Other than that, the facilities were nice and cozy. June 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic Stay!!! I stayed at the Westin Lombard over the weekend with my family. I was greeted very warmly by Julia. She confirmed the two rooms I reserved and provided info on the two restaurants in house. My family and I were in the area to just relax, shop and EAT!! Julia also took the time to explain the shuttle services and transit options into the city. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. May 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place for a wedding We stayed at the Westin for a family wedding. It was a perfect venue for such an event. The ceremony was held there as well and it was very nice. The cocktail hours was out on the balcony on a beautiful July evening! The wedding and food was wonderful! The rooms are spacious and the beds are SO comfortable!!! July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful We came for a wedding. The hotel staff is wonderful, everyone is so friendly and helpful. The reception was in one of the ballrooms. It was a very special event. The staff did an excellent job. The room was beautiful. The food and service was outstanding. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Rated 2 out of 5 by Did not meet my expectations. When I arrived at the hotel the cordless phone did not work because the battery was dead. The water coming out of the faucet is not adequate for washing your face. The water pressure is very low and it either comes out really hot or cold...nothing in between. The restaurants do not feel comfortable for a family visit with children. I would not recommend this hotel for families. November 8, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Packages gone missing This hotel was great, except for the fact they lost a package I had delivered. Well not so much lost but I had two delivered and they only gave me one. It messed up my productivity for the day. I was able to get the package the following morning but by then I didnt need it. Not the best :( July 25, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay The Westin Lombard had everything expected for a suburban business hotel and provided good SPG recognition. Received a great plat upgrade and the light breakfast in the lounge was good. Hotel is clean, comfortable, has two nice restaurants in the lobby (Harry Carry's and a seafood place) and is right near a major shopping center with plenty of dining and shopping options. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Property This is a great property. We have stayed here multiple times. This time we did not feel the room was up to standards. Maintenance was needed in the bathroom (missing towel bars and loose fixtures). A hanging lite was missing in the main area. No blankets or pillows for the pull-out. The staff/hospitality was excellent- friendly and very accommodating. We will be back. November 27, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Weekender... We were visiting family and they were quite pleased with our accommodation at the Westin. However, we had booked an Executive Suite, but don't think that's what we actually got. The cleaning person asked 'if we wanted our room cleaned?'--what kind of question is that? For such a large room, we were surprised there was neither a small sink nor a microwave. The bed was comfortable, and other than people partying next door at 3:00 am, very quiet. Best thing about this CORNER room was the view. We noted very little artwork (one piece) that complimented the contemporay feeling of this room. Bathroom door was inoperable and several light bulbs missing from lamps, plus one standing lamp was actually broken and leaning. Even though 2 people were booked to stay, we had to ask for another robe, wine glasses and missing body lotion. Enoyed the Club Room. WESTIN, you could do much better considering this was an Executive Suite! October 10, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by The beds seemed nice. That is the only thing good I can say at this time. Having to pay for a fridge and internet are unacceptable. The prices in the hotel shop were outrageous (over $3 for a soda!!). The staff was kind and curtious, but I would never stay at another Westin again if this is what it is like. July 21, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs Improvement The heat was blasting at 76 when I checked in and even after turning on the AC and the Fan, only got it down to 71 all night! Bathroom so small you couldn't see or get into tub unless the door was closed. Phone by bed didn't work, so I missed my wake-up call. Restaurants were extremely expensive - $10 for eggs. I had to leave the hotel and go elsewhere for dinner. February 13, 2012

Our meetings seemed to go with precision - management staff was on top of things. Very pleasant ambience to the hotel. Fast elevators - rarely had to wait more than a minute. July 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Memorial Day Stay We enjoy going to this hotel due to its location to shopping and dining. What I dislike is the consistent lack of follow through on requests; we always request extra foam pillows and towels and we never get foam pillows and towels. This seems consistent throughout the Westin chain. The pleasant staff, cleanliness and nice workout facilities keep us coming back. May 27, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 This hotel has changed its service quality in the negative way This used to be a good hotel and now becoming an average one with the possibility of going bad. The rooms are not taken care well, not maintained properly. I was on the Executive Floor on Room 1819, one phone was not working (never repaied during my stay) and the sink was completely clogged (was cleaned quickly) June 30, 2014
