Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic Stay!!! I stayed at the Westin Lombard over the weekend with my family. I was greeted very warmly by Julia. She confirmed the two rooms I reserved and provided info on the two restaurants in house. My family and I were in the area to just relax, shop and EAT!! Julia also took the time to explain the shuttle services and transit options into the city. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. May 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice For Business Great hotel for a business traveler and delivers all the comfort and ambiance expected from the newer Westins. Especially impressed with the team in the Executive Lounge that laid out extra coffe and snacks for my team and myself as we worked there all day. Workout facilities were great, and there is a FULL SIZED LAP POOL -- awesome benefit for this kind of hotel. The Hary Cary's and Holy Mackerel were delicious as well. Only 2 small details: room service sent me 2 knives and no fork one morning -- minor and easily fixed. Highly reccomend this hotel. May 17, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Will Return This is my 3rd time staying at the hotel. It is one of my favorites. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. However, I have noticed that the cleanliness of the bathrooms could use some attention. Each of the 3 times I've stayed, I have found numerous hairs in the bath room both on the floor and in the sinks. I specifically get the deluxe corner suite so I have the large bathroom for my young children. The tub in the suite has been dirty every time. May 13, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Downward Trend I have been staying at this Westin almost every week since October 2012 (it is now May 2013) and have noticed a steady degradation of the service here. The facilities are fine but it has started to fail living up to the Starwood / Westin brand. The following peeves have been occurring in the last 4-6 weeks: 1) I opt for the ADVERTISED Westin Workout gear, where they provide gym clothes. It's a great service but over the past several weeks, they never have Medium (who doesn't stock medium?) and, this week, the completely ran out of shorts. This is poor planning. Further, I never see anyone else in the New Balance clothing when I do go to the gym so I am confused as to why they don't have enough stock? Have they scaled back their inventory or their laundry frequency??? To add to this point, I have had to call back to "Service Express" to ask about the status of my request >30 minutes after placing the first call. On another occasion, they did not bring me the fresh pair of socks that is supposed to come with the order. So, for this week, it appears that I am unable to work out because I have no shorts -- I depended on their service and am out of luck... 2) I occasionally get room service on late working nights. On several occasions recently, I either have to call down to check status (over 1 hour later) or will receive a call to confirm (or ask because it was not written down?) my order. All in all, I am a fan of Starwood. Even at this Westin, the front staff are courteous and welcoming. Judging by my specific poor experiences, I would have to say this is a management issue that needs to be resolved. I have also discussed this with my colleagues and we are fairly unanimous in this drop in quality as we have been staying here anywhere from 1.5 years to 3 months. May 13, 2013
