Not much to say negative. My room was great. My housekeeper Janety was very thorough. The front desk was very professional and helpful. Great experience in the executive Lounge. Two other co-workers did say their rooms were musty. Very clean all around. Nice pool area. Restaurants were clean, good food, well priced. We held an event here and we were very pleased with that experience as well.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the Labor Day holiday. It's a very nice hotel. We were upgraded to the deluxe corner room which has got a great city view. We really like it and will come back for sure.

When I'm in Chicago, I usually like to stay downtown, however this trip I stayed at the Westin Lombard as I had business in the western suburbs. The hotel is big with 500 rooms and located in the center of Yorktown Mall - the room was well appointed and the staff was phenomenal. I truly felt like a VIP during my visit. Staying at the Westin Lombard was awesome and close proximity to many shops therefore I have a great alternative instead of being in the city.

I was supposed to be staying here from the 5th to the 9th. Unfortunately that same weekend the sales department had chosen to host the Nigerian Committee, which was the worst decision they probably have ever made. As soon as I arrived at the hotel the group had at least 200 strong if not more. They had parties planned until 3 am which I was told stretched well past 4:30 am. They were all very loud and unappreciative of people and their personal space. They were crowding the halls, the lobby, the pool. They were so loud, too. Yelling back and forth when they were only feet apart. The hotel assured me they would give me a full refund which I appreciated and the front desk team handled dissatisfied guests very well. I was there on a StarHOT and this hotel was the only one available during that weekend. However, with the amazing help of Molly and Fanny, they were able to find me a new hotel to relocate to, a new authorization form so I could keep my rate at the new hotel and Gina at the front desk was very understanding and very aware of how I was feeling and assured me it would all be taken care of. My stay would have been flawless, other than the large and obnoxious group they were hosting. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and everyone was so nice. Thank you again to Gina, Molly and Fanny for making my weekend and helping me find a fantastic hotel to stay at and for taking such good care of me and my mother.

I've just had a horrible experience! This hotel sold a room I'd already paid for, told me they were sold-out when I tried to check-in, and the "Manager" didn't even offer an apology.
I've stayed at this hotel >10 times this year. I'm an SPG member and until now a loyal client. I booked and pre-paid for a 3-night stay this week. Due to severe weather, I did not check-in on the first night. I didn't expect or request a refund for the first night, but I did expect to have a room when I checked in today. Unfortunately, when I arrived today and tried to check-in for my pre-paid reservation, the intern at the desk told me the hotel was sold out, and they didn't have a room for me. She called the manager as she didn't know what to do. When the Manager arrived at the front desk, she repeated that the hotel was sold-out and did not offer any solution. I insisted I be given a room as they didn't have the right to double book a room I'd already paid for. The manager walked away, returned 15 minutes later, told the intern she found a room, and walked away again without even so much as an apology.
If you are considering a pre-paid booking at this hotel, don't do it. Oh, and if you expect even a semblance of customer service, I recommend you go to one of the hotels down the street.

The staff were all very pleasant and offered assistance entering and exiting the hotel. It is a great location easy to drive to, close to the highway so if you want to go down town Chicago it's easy. I'd use this location again if going to Chicago.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Chicago. Not only is it a first class property, but it's right off two major highways and surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.
Platinum is always recognized and usually gets a nice room and always club access. The club is very nice and relaxing; only once was it too crowded. It's been recently remodeled and has a starbucks coffee machine. Unfortunately they took out the printer for the computer, but I think there's one in the business center.
The pool and workout facilities are substantial, but can be crowded because they are a big draw for the fit crowd and families with kids. Parking is very convenient and safe, with a shopping mall and Target next door.

I stayed for our Memorial day weekend vacation for 2 nights with my family.We booked the room as described Exec Club room, high floor, includes breakfast. however we did not get the room as described.
It was a 3rd floor room with indoor pool outside the window, no sun light and loud noise from the pool, with no breakfast.
I emailed the hotel, no answer. I cannot believe this.
