This hotel has great staff. The men at the concierge were very guest oriented, helpful and polite. As were the staff at the lobby desk.
The location is perfect for a Beale St experience.

Finally used points and Suite Night Awards for personal travel, so glad I did it here. Stayed one night in the hotel and used the upgrade to one the largest corner rooms I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Not sure of the square footage, but it was substantial. Exceptionally well appointed, enjoyed drinks at the bar that night and a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The proximity to Beale Street is tough to beat let alone the FedEx Forum I could see right outside the window. Great staff as well.

I was treated verry rudely at this hotel. I complained about a disk served with room service. It was salmon, which I HATE, and never order. I ordered the same dish the night before and it was great. But when it got there, my lobster roll was awfu, it was made with salmon NOTTTT lobster. AWFUL. The chef called me a liar and even came to my room, but would not taste it. You could clearly see it was salmon pink with salmon texture, NOT lobster. She was very rude. The meal was also to come with grilled asparagus. It came with some weird zucchini and peppers (little tiny red peppers size of about quarter size cherry tomato. My steak was very dry overlooked and inedible. I asked that they just take the meal back and bring me only the lobster roll. Just the fact that the chef, foreign lady refused to believe me, when I already had dish twice and loved it. And, that I am a connesour of lobster and most fish but hate salmon I would KNOW. MY husband is a chef I know the difference.
2. Then I watched two movies, one was the miracle movie about girl with some disease, but she falls down a hollow tree and is cured. Second one was about sequel to the divergent movie. I DID NOT watach a third. I tried to order one, but it asked for code and then it I turned off tv. Then restarted over to watch the two movies i did watch. Again the girl at desk would not remove the fee. It is NOT about the money; it is about the service and lack thereof. I am a SSVO, and gold SPG member for 15 years and I cannot believe the rudeness on these employees.
3. I requested a cab the day and n ight and even morning of when I needed it. I was assured it would be there at 9:15 am due to a court appearance.
4. I never got the green points added to account. (500 each night X 3 nights). Again front desk did not give them. Argued.

We were in Memphis for the AmeriVespa motor scooter rally. I must say that our stay at the Westin was extraordinary. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was remarkable. Thank you very much for making my stay, and that of my friends, exceptionally nice.

Hotel is not near worth the money!! Parking not free, elevator smelled like urine and they really offer no amenities. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!
