Pro-actively anticipated my needs. I had requested connecting rooms. A few days before I was to arrive, Ryan emailed me letting me know the type of rooms I requested were not available as connecting. Does this ever happen??? I was thoroughly impressed and they gave me several options to make sure my needs were met. Great facilities and service!

Untrained front desk staff. I had to call reservations to get a room because the staff either didn't want me there after telling me there were no rooms available or they simply didn't know what they were doing at the counter which was not the case. They helped others when I walked away and made a reservation on my iPad then came back to the counter with a confirmation number! I can't believe this is how you treat your veterans! The rates are way too high for the accommodations. You don't even provide free parking! It would have been worth it to have gone elsewhere. Poor customer service. Should not matter what race I am nor if I have jeans on. Customer service was very poor. Your clerk did not want to accommodate and that was disturbing considering I am a vet with a disability. Never will I ever stay at any of your hotels again. It's a matter of respect and. Your staff is simply not respectful. You may say this was a one time isolated incident but how many of such do you need to go through before losing customers? One un-booked room is a loss of profit. Keep that in mind the next time you revamp your customer care training! And why would you charge for water? $3.75 for water is ridiculous when I am paying that for gas! You can get you a case at Sam's or Cotsco's . That is really shameful and you are definitely taking advantage of your customers. I used the water because I had to take my medication. Otherwise, it would have not been opened!

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay, due to the following issues;
1. We were not allowed access to the pool/hot tub until the lifeguard started his shift at 4pm. We are experienced adult swimmers that looked forward to using the facility especially since it was 20 degrees outside. Surprised that the hotel required a lifeguard for adults guests & that they had "winter hours" for an inground pool and hottub.
2. Fireplace in bar/lounge area did not work. Shocking since we were told they had just completed a 5 million dollar renovation.
3. Room was reserved for two adults, however there was only one robe and one coffee cup in the room.
4. Room service selection is very limited and pricey. Also, one of the sandwiches was prepared with a stale croissant. Therefore I couldn't eat it.
5. Hotel restaurant breakfast selection was mediocre & pricier then I've had for what was offered.
The hotel is clean, staff is very nice but we were disappointed.

The staff was great and our room was beautiful. Overall, it was an excellent experience and my wife and I are glad we chose this location to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful! The room was spacious and clean. Our dog was welcome at the hotel and they provided her all the comforts of home. Our children loved the indoor pool, too. The only negative was that the pool was much too cold.
The breakfast in the morning was nice - offering enough variety to satisfy all of us. We would definitely stay there again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Flavilla Comfort and Care during a Trying Time
The Westin Annapolis was SO wonderful during our recent stay! We came for one night, as the next day we had to organize the memorial service for my mother, then back up boxloads (!) of her things and drive back to NYC (in a snowstorm). Not only were our rooms absolutely splendid, but SUPER-comfy as well. The breakfast buffet was superb, the pool was EPIC! (my 9 year old son's words) and everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well tended. My only regret is that we will be unlikely to be making as many visits to the area, but if we do - we know EXACTLY where we will stay! So many thanks!

The Westin is our hotel of choice. In each city, we find the accommodations consistent and comfortable.
