Rated 2 out of 5 by Westin Annapolis Disapointed that the fitness center was closed for renovation and no notice before arrival was given. Given a gym pass siad it was 10 min away but on weekends make it 40min since you must go thru downtown annapolis (they forgot to tell us that too). I've stayed at may SPG resorts and was shocked to see SPG members charged for daily internet service 9.95 per connection. Will find another property next visit to the area. Cudo's to "LARISA" pleasent employee that was veryhelpful! June 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by View of the Cemetery For single occupancy I was expecting a king bed and I got a room with double beds, the SPG status landed me in a view of the cemetery, June 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel, Horrible Restaurant This hotel is in a great location with a free trolley shuttle into the historic core of downtown Annapolis - rooms were roomy and very clean, staff was very helpful with the exception of the hotel restaurant which has a lot of problems both with the food quality and the restaurant staff. But don't let that stop you from staying here - just eat somewhere else! June 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay We made this reservation last minute while attending a wedding in Annapolis. The room was so comfortable we wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed it. Took a minute to figure out how to park and where to find entrances on this very busy Annapolis rainy, traffic backed up day. But once inside, the Westin was calm and comfortable. Would def recommend a stay here. June 9, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad, right from the start... We arrived for a fun and relaxing weekend, 10 mins after check in time...we were then told that our room was not ready and that we would have to wait, at LEAST 45 minutes for our room....the clerk then offered us a free trolley to downtown while we waited....because going downtown to walk around in the pouring rain is exactly my idea of fun... We told him that we would wait in the bar...a complementary cocktail for our inconvenience..not at the Westin....they made sure we paid for our $10 Bloody Mary...The gentleman told us that he would monitor the progress and come get us the MINUTE our room was ready....at MOST 45 mins...we waited, while watching all of our other friends arriving and going right up to their rooms....45 minutes went by, and nothing...so I went back to the desk to ask what was going on....oh...after checking, they found that our room was now ready...that guy really monitored it closely for us....so the woman at the counter went ahead and checked me in...I made a comment about how this was not the best way to start my stay, to which she commented "oh, sorry, we try to get our rooms ready in time, but today was busy" That was the start of our stay...then slowly learned that EVERYTHING in this hotel is an upcharge....even the WIRED internet costs...you get one complimentary bottle of water...but if you want two...you will have to pay.... it felt like the hotel is in financial trouble or that they need extra money for the renovations that are going on...you certainly are not treated with any sort of luxury.... Rated 4 out of 5 by Convenient and comfortable My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Westin. It was easy to get to off the main roads leading from Route 50. It is located in the rennovated area called Park Place with some stores and restaurants next door. It is about a 15 minute walk to the main strip of stores and shops, or you can hop on the free trolley which runs pretty often. The rooms were clean and of good size and typical for a Westin. The staff we encountered were friendly. Parking is up to $10 a day, although you may pay more if you take the car in and out as the city owns and runs the lot. We wished the pool was outdoors to take advantage of the weather, or at least have some windows for sunlight. But it is in the basement. They do have a lifeguard on duty though. The hotel is going through some construction including the fitness center and some parts of the lobby. We would have no reservations about staying here again, and in fact, we are when we go with our kids later in the summer. June 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A very nice place to stay I enjoyed my stay at the Westin. The staff was very personable. Room clean and nice. The hotel is a small walk away to Main St. and next to Miss Shirley's so you can't beat it! The pineapple water in the lobby was a nice touch! June 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by SUPER LOCATION We were in for the annual ZOOMA event and this hotel was perfectly located to the event (within walking distance) and the rest of Annapolis. The room was very comfortable, clean and inviting. June 6, 2013
