The room was great, the bed and bedding was super comfortable. TV was good. I had one issue... there is a guide on screen for the tv but no way to ascertain what is playing on the channel. I found that to be most annoying. My guide at home does allow me to see at a glance what is playing on the tv station.

Discusted with the lack of customer service from this hotel. Watch out and make sure everyone is doing their job or you may get slammed with charges that you never approved. The Accounting department is not helpful at all and doesn't care about their guest that have stayed at the hotel. Sad, Sad, Sad.

Nice pool and hot tub. Nice rooms and very clean. Bed mattress nice, pillows too soft. Excellent meal at the restaurant. Valet parking too expensive. Access to wireless internet free in lobby, but $xx.xx was charged when my daughter tried to access and was denied. Needs to be more clear on access.

Hotel was typical Westin. Everything was pretty nice about it. The thing that upset me the most was after a 5 hour flight from the West coast, getting to the hotel at 1am, I was in search of food and was told NOTHING is available. No late night room service, no nearby food spots open. Not even a salad. In my room I looked in the book and noticed is said "Late Night Dining Menu 11pm - 6am" and had a list of things available (typical in hotels). Called the front desk and they said No we don't have late night dining.
Second thing, my reservation was for two nights. I checked in and confirmed two nights. But the hotel staff took the liberty to check me out prematurely after 1 night just b/c housekeeping didn't see my bags in the room. What difference does that make. I reserved 2 nights and confirmed 2 nights. Why are you checking me out early on your own accord.
Third thing - front desk did not even greet me as Platinum, ask me what I would like for amenity, or offer or search for upgrades.

The staff was wonderful in every way. Especially at check-in. The hotel was full and busy yet they took the time to make each guest feel welcome and not rushed. Yet they were efficient in getting everyone checked in. Well done. The facilities were great as always. I love staying with you.

This Westin is excellent in all respects except for the Hallways. The carpets are badly worn and stained. Used room service trays stay in the hall for a long time and housekeeping carts and repair carts are left with no one using them. This isn't up to the standards of the rest of the hotel.

First time stay in WA. This hotel was clean , convenient and great service.
We arrived at 8:30 Am following a sleepless night travelling in the early hour , and the hotel rooms were available and we were able to check in and rest before going to our conference early afternoon. Thank you

The shuttle service to area restaurants, stores, etc. was a big help when I visited during a snow storm. If the hotel didn't have what I needed, they made sure I could get where I could acquire those items.

From the frayed towels to the dirty and noisy room this place should be skipped. Imagine if I had not stayed in an "executive Suite".
The staff is totally clueless in the service industry. Late check out? NO

Good location, spacious rooms. I was overcharged for in room food- i had to take it up with the manager but he was able to fix it. Their shuttle is never available- average wait time for shuttle is 20 min. Try getting it from the hotel or call it to the train station (5 min away).

Our room was clean and comfortable. On our final day, we gathered as a large family to have breakfast together. We made a reservation for 30+ people the day before. When we gathered, the restaurant manager was resistant to putting tables to together so that we could talk and visit. We pushed small tables together to make larger tables anyway. When we tried to pull together more tables so that everyone could sit together, the manager refused saying he had to save tables for other guests. He offered us seats at the bar across the room; we refused. We also refused the high tables and bar stools because several in our party had severe arthritis and couldn't climb up onto the seats. The service was lackluster but we were still charged 18% tip ($24 for the server to bring us our entrees and a pot of coffee). The tables that the manager insisted on saving for other guests were never used. There was better service and good quality food at 1/4th the price at a cafe across the street. That's where we'll go in the future.

A wonderful overnight stay at your hotel in Alexandria, VA. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The hotel, the room and surrounding area was just as it was in online photos and descriptions. I would definitely stay here again, or at any another location in the future.

The hotel was great--the staff were very polite and responsive. The food was terrific!! I loved their breakfast smoothie and ordered a double both mornings we were there!
we had our car with us and the valet service had our car around front by the time we went downstairs.

This is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Alexandria within walking distance to the Metro Station on King street. It is also close to Whole Foods and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Facility was great and room was larger than expected. The showers had not been cleaned properly, though - we found lots of long black hair up and down the entire shower wall which was an unpleasant surprise. Have never had any issues with this at other Starwood Hotels.

Staff was friendly... rooms are very clean and comfortable. I like the complimentary bottle of water in the room. Location, not so great as you have to walk or take a cab to restaurants and shopping. I would still stay there as the product and services were excellent.

The customer service started at the curb and continued through to checkout. We were looking for the restaurant and an attendant at the gym took the time to personally show us where it was. The room was nice and clean. The food at the function we attended was great!!!!

The facility was beautiful and in a good location, but one night we could hear the neighbors through the paper thin adjoining door until after midnight, the next there was a very loud party until midnight and we could hear the base and DJ as if he were right below us.

I'm sure construction might have had something to do with my unpleasant stay. A/C didn't work in the first room and staff offered to send someone up at 10 pm to fix it rather than move me until we had a meeting of the minds. Limited TV channels. no restaurant or bar.

The hotel is in close proximity to the beltway, national Harbor and other tourist attractions but is less expensive.
Good ,efficent service and friendly staff.
Free street parking on the weekends.
Room A/c was a bit too loud but overall a comfortable, clean room.

I like the location, very close to the old town of Alexandria and easy to access to Train, bus and Metro to go to Washington D.C. It is clean and neeth and comfortable to stay for business purposes. The only problem was if your neighbour coughs you will hear it.

The staff went out of their way to make certain that we had breakfast delivered to our rooms prior to an early departure. Also they did a wonderful job shipping our luggage to another hotel for an event. Wonderful service by the Concierge and night manager.

This hotel was awesome! I couldn't have asked for friendlier employees and the whole facility was impeccably clean. The only thing that I didn't like was that there was no free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Nowadays you can get free Wi-Fi almost anywhere you go.

Paid premium price and expected everything to be perfect. Some basic items such as properly functioning TV and tub draining were very disappointing and detracted from the things that were done right.
