Rated 5 out of 5 by NYtravelerG wonderful place to stay and will return.
we spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The free breakfast with Platinum is a must and we looked forward to it every AM before a long day. we also saw the Paris Marathon throught the window of Le First while dining. We had a Junior suite but with a view of a closed off courtyard roof disappointing, but then we were hardly in our suite except at night. A view of the Efiel Tower at night would have been a nice touch.

This stay in Paris ended up as one of our best vacations ever. We arrived on Christmas day and were welcomed by the staff.
We ended up with a room on the fourth floor with an Eiffel Tower view with an absolute spectacular view. We like this hotel for the service, quality of food, and friendliness of the staff. The location makes it very easy to get around. It is within a 5 minute walk to the Louvre or Museum D’Orsay. \

Rated 4 out of 5 by Francophile Great Staff
I used points to stay at this hotel otherwise it would be pretty expensive. If that's not a concern this hotel fits the bill for a number of reasons: centrally located to most sightseeing, easy access to the Concorde Metro stop, clean and decent sized rooms with a normal by US standards sized shower.
The staff was great and the concierge helped us book several restaurant reservations. They also obtained several museum passes (Louvre, D'Orsay, L'Orangerie) that we purchased for the ticket fee plus a delivery price. Worth it! Otherwise find your self passing time in really long lines.
The one blemish on the stay was that the shower in our room had no hot water which we didn't discover til the following morning. The staff was very responsive and got it fixed later that day but it was a bit of a pain as we wanted to grab a hot shower and start the day.
There was also a decent little hotel bar/restaurant (Tuilleries) that had decent food if you're tired and don't feel like eating out. We did one night. Great cheese plate and had a pretty decent lamb and bean stew.
Thought of one other thing that's actually kind of important. For a Heavenly Bed which is a Westin guarantee the beds in this hotel certainly left something to be desired in terms of comfort. I find a lot of beds in Europe to be pretty uncomfortable which is one of the reasons we picked Westin for this stay. I stayed at a Westin in Frankfurt, Germany and the bed there was as advertised; maybe it was just something with this particular Westin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by kg9965 Great location........
but the hotel is very old and not up to the quality one expects from a Westin. The carpet in my hall had duck tape holding it together and in another area a burn mark. They also used too much perfume in entry and on sheets. 3 times we went to the bar only to be told they were closing or closed 11ish.
We walked everywhere but other then that the hotel is a 2 Star at best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Marcus1130 Great location and staff
We've stayed at the Westin 4 times now, the most recent to celebrate our marriage. In advance, Maeva at the concierge desk helped us secure reservations at several hard to get into bistros which was wonderful! She was responsive in keeping us informed of confirmations. At check-in at the SPG Platinum desk, Medhi couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Upon learning of our recent marriage he made sure we got a complimentary bottle of wine, which was excellent and explained all the amenities and services, including daily breakfast. The hotel is in an ideal central location near the Louvre and Champs Elysees. The room was spacious and clean and all the staff were friendly. On the down side, the coffee at breakfast was always weak and luke warm at best, which should be better at such a hotel. But it's hard to complain about a free amenity that otherwise cost 39 euros. And the shower curtain had a musty smell. But overall this is a great hotel and one we'll continue coming back to.

This is a big hotel, so don't expect to be coddled. It was surprisingly quiet, except in the wee hours of the morning, when music drifted in until about 6am. However, everything seems to run pretty well, except the internet. I was on the 2nd floor so my service kept switching from lobby to hotel internet, with lost connections, which was annoying. Room seemed not sparkling clean. Breakfast 39 euros is a joke.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Michael212 Cold Water Showers
We were supposedly upgraded to this room, which was hardly anything special. This would have been excusable had there been hot water. Every morning we had to let the water run until it finally got lukewarm, then dash in and be ready to jump out again when it turned freezing, still covered in soap and shampoo. We complained multiple times to the management who seemed uninterested in correcting this problem.

During our recent stay at The Westin Paris - Vendome, my wife and I were treated to gracious hospitality, impeccable service and attention to detail. The view of the Jardin de Tuileries from the balcony of our fifth floor suite was a highlight of our visit.
The staff made us feel like special guests and ensured that we had we had a wonderfully enriching visit to Paris.
We look forward to our return soon.

I stayed in this hotel twice. The first time I stayed in this hotel for one day. I loved the room and the service at the hotel. The second time I stayed in room 5077. Room for improvement. Constant problems with the water temperature in the bathroom, no slippers, sanitary bag, cosmetic set. After a call to express service issues have been resolved, but the impression of the hotel are spoiled

We couldnt ask for more better than this. Location is perfect. We had a room facing the Eiffel Tower. Room is spacious. Customer Service is excellent. Restaurant, bar and dine in are good too if feeling to stay in. Worth every penny. Thank You, Westin Vendome!

So for the most part the stay was more than good. But when you are paying what you pay to stay at this hotel you have some expectations, Europe or not. The furniture had very significant scratches on it, kind of an eye sore. The bed comfort was Okay, needed more blankets. The bedding was very thin and you basically felt like all you had was a sheet. There was no throw or anything extra in the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mouchesurlemur Nice Hotel with a great Paris Location
We spent 5 days at the Westin Paris in October, and could not have been happier with our selection. The room esthetically does not have that old time Parisian feel to it, but it was clean, comfy and quiet. We had a room on the 5th floor which gave us sunshine in the AM and a courtyard view. The staff of the hotel were wonderfully accommodating and pleasant during our entire stay, and all were fluent in English. But the real key to this hotel is the central location....just a short stroll to the Louvre, the Opera...across the street from the Garden Tuileries, and one block from Angela's Pastry shop and several good restaurants. Taxi cabs are constantly available at the entrance to the hotel and the Metro is only a few blocks away. The Westin is not inexpensive, but neither is Paris. If I did this trip over again, I'd still choose this hotel over the others based on location, location, location.

We stayed 14 beautiful days at the Westin Paris - Vendome, which is our choice every time we visit Paris (twice or minimum once a year). We stayed on a 5th. floor suite that was delightful because it had a separate living room from where we could see the top of the Eiffel tower. Our only complaint was the shower that had no curtain and the whole bathroom got wet every time we took a shower.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shaun99 Great hotel, good view, but poor service.
The hotel is beautiful but the service from "Service Express" was really terrible and rude. They hung up a few times when I was asking for the front desk and of course there was no one answering there.
Front desk didn't answer the phone about half the time which was quite surprising.
And at one point the lady asked "what do you want?" - unbelievable..
Was not satisfied with the service.

This hotel is a gem. The location is great. An easy walk or short taxi to many of the museums and sites. It's close to excellent shopping areas and wonderful restaurants
The staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge staff earns special thanks for all their help.
It was a nice touch having a welcome bottle of Bordeaux in the room on arrival
I wholeheartedly recommend the Paris Westin

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hass069 This hotel very noisy
This hotel is located in a fantastic spot, but is very noisy. There seems to be little insulation for the walls so you can hear every word spoken in the room next door at 2am.
Also for the price you pay you would expect a better gym.
It is also a big hotel hosting weddings and conferences, just too big and commercial.
Just not what you would expect from a Westin Hotel.

This hotel is in a very good location and within easy walking distance to the Louve. The room was comfortable although small.
The bathroom was spacious with the shower over the bath. The hotel staff are ready to please all guests As the hotel is 5 star dining is very expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Two4Travel Beautiful hotel, clean throughout and helpful staff
First off the location for this hotel couldn't have been better for our desired museum visits, restaurants & shopping, all in a short walking distance . We found the staff to speak very good English and they were consistently friendly & helpful. The rooms were very large and modern for Europe, and had all important clean comfortable beds. We are looking forward to another longer stay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheryl Hotel Westin Vendome
I go to Paris each year in February on business. I usually stay at small French hotels. I decided I would try the Westin Vendome. I was delighted. I enjoyed the facilities, the bustling lobby, the restaurant, and the treatment. It was the best of all worlds: a hotel with lovely amenities and yet the aura of personal service. I would stay there next year. Sheryl, Hoboken, New Jersey

Great location. Within walking distance to Metro, number of museums, etc. Park across the street is a great place to go for a run. Recommend a B&B package if you plan to eat at the hotel or use your SPG gift for breakfast. Unfortuneately there is no executive lounge. They have a SPA but never went.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Unsatisfactory30 Very Noisy
I have stayed in this property before and was very pleased. However, my 6 night stay was certainly lacking this time. I have some very noisy neighbors partying all night. I phoned the front desk several times and told me they would take care of it but actually never did. My 6 night stay was basically without rest.

This was my first time to Paris and staying at the Westin-Paris Vendome made it that much more memorable; I fell in love with Paris. The staff was attentive, welcoming and eager to help in any way possible: case in point- they called my cell phone carrier for me when I couldn't get any service and helped resolve the issue. I am already planning for next year..a bientot!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by MikeX Overall Excellent
The location of the Westin Vendome is in the heart of Paris--within walking distance to excellent restaurants, best shops, museums, the Louvre, and even to the Eiffel Tower (2.4 miles).
Only a minor problem arose temporarily with WiFi access in the room which was being corrected.
The Reception and Concierge staff were professional and very helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pakelekia The location and staff make this hotel a winner!
After the first night in a room with non-working air-conditioning,noisy neighbors and inadequate power outlet for the computer, staff went out of their way to please us by moving us to a larger, quieter and much more comfortable room. In particular, the duty managers made sure this Platinum member was extremely satisfied and happy with the rest of our stay!

The services providesd by the concierge was outstanding. When we asked for reservations to be made, it was handled immediately. When asking for recommendatins, they were excellent.
Nicolas ( the young man handling the coffee service) did his usual outstanding work and helped make out stay more enjoyable.
The entire staff at the hotel was terrific.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hgreenb870 This Hotel Is Not the Best Westin
Location cannot be beat. That said, this is a very disappointing property. Service is very poor - called for bedding 5 times and finally asked for duty manager. Room is worn and slightly on dirty side. This hotel is best suited for a convention or business group.
Fitness centre is substandard
Suggest hotel outside SPG for Paris to make the most of the trip.
