Rated 5 out of 5 by Enita Great Place to Stay
We came for a business meeting my husband had. The rooms are clean and they are very spacious. American size rooms. The location is wonderful. 7 minute walk to the Opera House and Lafayette stores. All high end stores are very close.
Will definitely return.
Room rate was great, but eating breakfast is extremely expensive. €39 per person, but the food was good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by kintakunte the hotel has nice outlook, but there's
a receptionist who doesn't care how long she has kept me waiting just to receive my check-in, I've never ever been done that way at any hotel including any other hotel. the worst memory I've ever had in my hotel usages.
the view from the window in my room in the first evening was great, so impressive that I had barely forgot all about it, saying call the whole thing off. but this question are has reminded me of that again...lol
other staff were fine! great

We finished our monthlong European vacation in Paris and booked the Westin Paris, not realizing what a beautiful property we had chosen. The garden patio restaurant was such a wonderful setting for dinner or breakfast. The waiter was very hospitable and even took time to explain the history of the hotel. We were 5 min from the Louvre and it was a walk through the park. Concierge booked the Lido show for us which was a perfect last night in this great city.

Never got a good night sleep. Walls are VERY thin. We were woken up every night at 2am for 2 hours by the couple next door. It sounded like they were in bed with us. Staff told us this is a problem with every room because the hotel is old. Well last trip to Paris we stayed in the Prince and did not have this problem. In fact I have never had this problem. We could hear guests on both sides! Great location, lovely staff. But I would never stay here again.

Had high expectations, but in practice were let down by - failure of hotel booked vehicle to turn up at CDG on our arrival (they said booking mixed up in system); noise from adjoining room enough to wake us up each evening; failure of breakfast waiting staff to correctly deliver meal - my wife's arrived but mine did not - after 2 requests and 45 minutes we left and I ate elsewhere. Pity .... great premises in great location in great city.

Great time at Westin Vendome. I am a Platinum member who was staying on points and the staff working the special reception desk the night of September 26, 2013 were fabulous. They made us feel like welcome guests and gave a great Brassiere recommendation around the corner. Had a junior suite that was great - only negative faced interior but it was fashion week and was on points so totally understable. Great experience!

Rated 1 out of 5 by RR360 Hotel needs a Facelift
Although the hotel is in a very central location in Paris it is in need of a refurbish. The view rooms were tiny and the noise from the street made you feel as if you were sleeping on the street. Paint was chipping off of the walls in the bathrooms and the carpet was in need of replacement which may have contributed to the unpleasent odor present in the rooms. Overall, the experience was far below my expectations and not indicative of Westin renown.

Rated 3 out of 5 by wsquared Service Should Have Been Better
I was very surprised by the service level. I ordered dinner from room service late in the evening. After the food arrived, I discovered the utensils were missing. Room Service was difficult to get in touch with and I was placed on music hold for long periods of time (reception did not pick up either). When I finally received the utensils, the food was NOT hot and NOT good.
Also, there was a long line when I checked out and I was under time pressure to get to the train station. There was not an adequate number of personnel at the reception desk and no personnel specifically dedicated to Gold and Platinum Members. Surprisingly, there were two Westin employees seated at the SPG desk that did nothing to assist....left a very bad impression with the Starwood members in line.
On the positive side, the Concierge Desk was very helpful with dining suggestions and reservations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Richard77 Amazing hotel in amazing location
A beautiful hotel set in such a beautiful part of Paris. The hotel itself is classic and is finished extremely well.
The staff were extremely professional and treated us extremely well and recognized our SPG status.
The restaurant (the outdoor) is stunning and we sat there every day for hours at a time!
We cant wait to go back to this hotel in April and relive our past stay.
this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at in Paris

Rated 5 out of 5 by hk39 Awesome location and amenities
The hotel is adjacent to the Tuileries and within easy walking of the Louvre, great shopping and fascinating Paris neighborhoods. The staff really made us feel at home. Our room was spacious and well-designed for our comfort. There was plenty of closet space and the bed was awesome. Our complimentary continental breakfast as our SPG perk was superb!! We look forward to our return trip to Paris and the Westin Paris- Vendome Hotel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BusyBusinessTraveler Great location, great historic hotel but laissez faire attitude at breakfast was a disappointment
I arrived later in the evening. My room was ready and with a beautiful view over the Jaridin des Tuileries and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The hotel location was wonderfully convenient for my dinner appointment . My room was very nice and well maintained leading to a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The gym is among the more basic Westin Workouts I have found globally and was like being banished to a dungeon in the basement with absolutely no natural light; so I minimised my workout. Perhaps the only real disappointment I had with the hotel was the breakfast service. To get a cup of coffee at the buffet required me to essentially shout at the waitstaff across the section where I was seated. I was convinced I was wearing Harry Potter's invisibility cloak. Then my coffee was weak and lukewarm. I tried to get a fresh cup but the quality was just as bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JoelTan Wonderful thanksgiving stay in Paris.
Was there last week with my family and had a wonderful time. Location was perfect. Could walk to Eric Kayser on Rue de Casanova for breakfast. The junior suite and the deluxe room for the kids were of adequate size and comfort. Excellent view of the Eiffel tower and the Tuilleries. Only thing that bothered us were the sounds of sirens from ambulances passing by. Staff were very helpful. Would stay again at this hotel next visit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TahitianDreams SPG Platinum benefits are GREAT!
My wife and I stayed here to be close to the Musee du Louvre. On site restaurant was quite expensive, given that the USD was worth only 65 cents to their EURO. We ate elsewhere, found a Starbucks nearby and enjoyed being in this area of Paris, and in this Westin. The concierge was bit on the "I don't really care" attitude, but the SPG desk representative was fantastic and was very kind and helpful at every level. She was great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by DCTF Beautiful spaces, but needs work
I stayed at Westin for six nights in June, attending a conference in the hotel. The hotel's location is fantastic, of coursee. The meeting rooms are beautiful, including the courtyard, the staff very helpful.
But wifi is awful throughout the hotel and was a constant problem. It has to be fixed. I can't return to a hotel with such horrific wifi.
(Small issue: your email to me after my stay identified me as someone else.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ramin17 Excellent Stay at Paris
The hotel was comfortable and provided all the amenities that we required, family of 3. The staff are very friendly and helpful. One issue: the concierge information is not uptodate. They recommended a restaurant that was closed, then they gave us a bus/boat schedule that was one year old. And their directions are not easy to follow. But overall the hotel is great, just don't rely on the concierge service.

Rated 3 out of 5 by martin2m9 perfect function facilities, poor room
Room was small, noisy air condition and a tiny bathroom were I hardly could stand taking my shower (height < 2 m). Avoid staying in the 5.th floor!
Function rooms, food quality in line with price appreciation. Hotel hall could be a bit larger, we had some trouble to find a place for a meeting of 3 people.
I asked for a wake up call on 6.9. which was noted but not executed. Poor for a ***** place

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crutch Great Hotel/Good Location
We enjoyed our two nights at the Westin. From the time of check-in with Ann, very good to the final evening in the lounge with Phillip, great representative of the hotel, lounge manager I believe. The rooms were a little small, but it is Europe. The overall cleanliness in spots needs attention. A lot of dirt and dust on the floor boards by the elevators. Slow check out. Very good consignors. I will come back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NYtravelerG wonderful place to stay and will return.
we spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The free breakfast with Platinum is a must and we looked forward to it every AM before a long day. we also saw the Paris Marathon throught the window of Le First while dining. We had a Junior suite but with a view of a closed off courtyard roof disappointing, but then we were hardly in our suite except at night. A view of the Efiel Tower at night would have been a nice touch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bpageski Fabulous Views and Location
This stay in Paris ended up as one of our best vacations ever. We arrived on Christmas day and were welcomed by the staff.
We ended up with a room on the fourth floor with an Eiffel Tower view with an absolute spectacular view. We like this hotel for the service, quality of food, and friendliness of the staff. The location makes it very easy to get around. It is within a 5 minute walk to the Louvre or Museum D’Orsay. \

Rated 3 out of 5 by Karen91 Concierge needs improving
My experience at this hotel was somewhat mixed. The lady that checked us in was the nicest person working for this westin hotel. The men at the front desk and concierge were not that nice. It seemed like every time you asked them a question it annoyed them. The front desk did a lot better job than the concierge desk. Very rude like attitudes. Also we signed up for wifi and it would half way work in our room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by studiocity good area
This is a big hotel, so don't expect to be coddled. It was surprisingly quiet, except in the wee hours of the morning, when music drifted in until about 6am. However, everything seems to run pretty well, except the internet. I was on the 2nd floor so my service kept switching from lobby to hotel internet, with lost connections, which was annoying. Room seemed not sparkling clean. Breakfast 39 euros is a joke.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Michael212 Cold Water Showers
We were supposedly upgraded to this room, which was hardly anything special. This would have been excusable had there been hot water. Every morning we had to let the water run until it finally got lukewarm, then dash in and be ready to jump out again when it turned freezing, still covered in soap and shampoo. We complained multiple times to the management who seemed uninterested in correcting this problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GoGus Room with a view
During our recent stay at The Westin Paris - Vendome, my wife and I were treated to gracious hospitality, impeccable service and attention to detail. The view of the Jardin de Tuileries from the balcony of our fifth floor suite was a highlight of our visit.
The staff made us feel like special guests and ensured that we had we had a wonderfully enriching visit to Paris.
We look forward to our return soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HeatherC Good experience!
So for the most part the stay was more than good. But when you are paying what you pay to stay at this hotel you have some expectations, Europe or not. The furniture had very significant scratches on it, kind of an eye sore. The bed comfort was Okay, needed more blankets. The bedding was very thin and you basically felt like all you had was a sheet. There was no throw or anything extra in the room.

I stayed in this hotel twice. The first time I stayed in this hotel for one day. I loved the room and the service at the hotel. The second time I stayed in room 5077. Room for improvement. Constant problems with the water temperature in the bathroom, no slippers, sanitary bag, cosmetic set. After a call to express service issues have been resolved, but the impression of the hotel are spoiled

Rated 5 out of 5 by mouchesurlemur Nice Hotel with a great Paris Location
We spent 5 days at the Westin Paris in October, and could not have been happier with our selection. The room esthetically does not have that old time Parisian feel to it, but it was clean, comfy and quiet. We had a room on the 5th floor which gave us sunshine in the AM and a courtyard view. The staff of the hotel were wonderfully accommodating and pleasant during our entire stay, and all were fluent in English. But the real key to this hotel is the central location....just a short stroll to the Louvre, the Opera...across the street from the Garden Tuileries, and one block from Angela's Pastry shop and several good restaurants. Taxi cabs are constantly available at the entrance to the hotel and the Metro is only a few blocks away. The Westin is not inexpensive, but neither is Paris. If I did this trip over again, I'd still choose this hotel over the others based on location, location, location.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jossia2012 Paris in Spring
We stayed 14 beautiful days at the Westin Paris - Vendome, which is our choice every time we visit Paris (twice or minimum once a year). We stayed on a 5th. floor suite that was delightful because it had a separate living room from where we could see the top of the Eiffel tower. Our only complaint was the shower that had no curtain and the whole bathroom got wet every time we took a shower.
