Rated 3 out of 5 by Lack of consistent Wi-Fi is a big miss I've never been at a Westin where the WiFi was so inconsistent both in the rooms and the lobby area. Definitely not up to par if you expect to get any work done. July 9, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Service - Room Repairs Needed Westin Tyson's Corner is mine and my husbands hotel of of choice. It is normally a great value for the price, clean, and staff is courteous. This particular stay, our room had a number of issues. First, the television didn't work. We had to wait for a technician to come and fix it. Our bathroom was in disrepair. The sink bowl was separating from the countertop allowing water to spill down under the sink. The plate from the shower handle was coming off. We spoke to management about our concerns and they sent someone to fix it by recaulking both the sink and shower. We were offerred a change of room, but since we had an agenda planned, we did not have time to change, so the manager offered us a complimentary breakfast buffet for our troubles. July 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by pleasant surprise ! To start - upon walking in - every staff member was friendly. I happen to be in the area for eye surgery and the staff quickly saw my needs. My family as I recuperated went to the DC area to visit the Smithsonians. They were shuttled to the train station and the drivers were professional and on time in every possible way. The housekeeping staff also were helpful. The only issues we had was the size of the room was smaller , but livable to what I thought. In addition were not sure that we may have had a complimentary breakfast or not and were not told during check in. So we assumed we did not. The fitness center met our needs as did the pool area. Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has become a second home I've been staying at this hotel every week for almost a year now and the service has been consistently great. The rooms are clean and spacious, beds are "heavenly" and the food is pretty decent. What stands out the most about this place is the service. The front desk staff makes every effort to accommodate all your requests. I really like that there is a personal touch to every interaction by the hotel staff. After a year, it truly feels like a second home. August 1, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff! My wife and I checked in for one night for our anniversary. I had notified the hotel in advance that it was our anniversary and we were upgraded to a nice suite and gifted chocolate covered strawberries upon arrival. That in and of itself was nice and worthy of compliment. What goes beyond, was our experience with other staff and personnel at the hotel. We grabbed an after-dinner drink at the bar late and my wife asked the bartender had any chocolate to go with our glass of port. He replied no but later came back with four chocolate bars - having gone to open the closed convenience store to retrieve them for us. Great stay and great staff! Thank you! June 11, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Great food but maintenance needed I stayed at this location for 2 nights. The hotel looks impressive when you enter the lobby, and the staff are very friendly. However, as an SPG member, you are usually greeted with that recognition, and I was not, but that is not a big deal to me, and I only want to bring it to the attention hotel because this is something Sheraton prides itself in doing. The room looked nice on first glance, but after entering the bathroom, I could see messy grout/caulking on tiles, cracks, nicks in the bathtub and a poor paint job. It felt old and dingy even with the attempt at making it modern. However, the worst was that the air conditioning made a terrible LOUD banging sound from behind the walls every time the compressor went off. It was so loud that I first thought someone was slamming a door, but turns out it was coming from the AC. It kept me awake all night. After mentioning it to the staff, I was told they would look into it, but nothing was ever mentioned to me again, and it remained. However, on my first night, I arrived hungry and not wanting to go out, I went to the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were wonderful. It made the stay much better, and I chose to eat there again the second night. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for a wonderful meal. However, I would NOT recommend anyone to stay here if they want to get a good night's sleep. August 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quick stay in Tysons I stayed at this hotel for a quick trip to D.C. The hotel is convenient to the West Falls Church metro stop. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Upon entry into my room, I noticed how loud the A/C was (sounded much like a helicopter). I didn't feel like moving rooms so I just turned the A/C off since it wasn't too hot. Around 12am the people in the room next to me started smoking. I went down to the lobby to let them know and Tim promptly took care of the problem and assigned me a new room. The A/C was also very quiet which was nice! Tim is excellent and I'm glad he was able to find me a new room. Overall fairly satisfied just need to work on the noisy A/C unit! July 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thank you!~ I was stranded by a problem with my car and--much to my luck--was able to get off the expressway and directly into the parking lot of the Westin. I was greeted very warmly, assigned a beautiful room, and several people greeted me by name after that. I am a public health professional and was especially impressed by the healthy breakfast menu and the offer of workout clothes and shoes provided to my room. Wow. That was a first--please keep up the great work on health promotion. We need the help of industry and businesses like yours! Thank you for one of the best stays I have ever had in any hotel (and I travel a lot). December 28, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Very enjoyable stay! My hotel stay was extremely pleasant and comfortable. The staff was excellent; very accommodating and professional, which was well reflected even by the relaxed and congenial attitudes of the other guests. My room was well maintained and cared for. The bed, pillows and linens were super clean, fresh and comfortable. I was provided everything I needed. I slept like a rock and was ready for take-off in the morning! Last but not least were the two scrumptious meals I had in the hotel restaurant. Total deluxe yummy with great service at a fair price. I will most definitely return to this fine hotel to sleep and eat some more! Thanks for having me, Westin Tysons Corner! I had a great time! December 1, 2013

My family and I celebrated Independence Day in our Nations Capitol and I must say it was Fabulous from the hotel to the fireworks not to mention the site-seeing. The hotel staff was Awesome! The shuttle bus drivers were so helpful and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend The Westin. Enjoy! July 16, 2014
