Rated 5 out of 5 by A Wonderful Place I cannot emphasize enough the courtesy and responsiveness of the staff. I would especially like to praise Mehmet Bahtiyar who is a fantastic hotelier. He is a real professional and his staff think very highly of him as do my wife and I. He had one of his staff get our car, which was parked some distance away, and brought it to the portico in a heavy rainstorm so that we didn't get wet. That's real service! October 14, 2014

As a lifetime Platinum member who was stayed in SPG properties all over the world I am also pleased to say that the the staff (especially Mehmet, Ahmed, Seth, Estella, Yohannes, Leila, Suzi, and Ethiopia) have always made me feel welcome and like I have a hotel family! Rated 5 out of 5 by Home away from home My wife and I have stayed at Westin Tysons Corner many times; it is always a highlight of our visits to Northern VA.. No matter who is at the front desk, or what time we arrive, we are always greeted by name and welcomed back with friendliness and sincerity. It is a home away from home. Hint: the breakfast buffet is international and fantastic. September 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Shuttle The only reason I booked this hotel is because they have a shuttle. One of the front desk associates told me when checking in that the priority of the shuttle is for business around the hotel and not for those who want to be dropped at the Metro, like me. Of course I had to argue that and I had to leave the hotel from the crack of dawn to make sure that the shuttle will take me to the metro station. September 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Restaurant are poor I tried both restaurants (the bar and breakfast). The bar was way overcrowded and it was impossible to get a seat. Food was just OK if you didn't want sushi. If you couldn't get a seat at the bar and were forces to the restaurant re wanted breakfast then the restaurant was really bad - ripped seats, dark and average service. It was better to go to Starbucks for breakfast. September 13, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great service from all the staff here as always! Juan and the rest of the restaurant staff are great! Front desk staff with get you anything you need and always make you stay enjoyable. Facility notes- Need some new cardio equipment in gym. Not all TV's work and 1 of 3 ellipticals was broken. Also, feel it needs to be colder in Gym. Last, I would love this hotel to have a SPG lounge on upper floor. I stay in Arlington sometimes just for this reason. September 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best in Tyson's We try to come in town once a month to visit family. Have stayed in other hotels in Tyson's but this is by far our favorite. The beds, the showers, the linens and staff are awesome. We are always greeted so warmly at the front desk. Meh met and Abraham are such gentlemen. Breakfast buffet delicious but could use more server help...perhaps a holiday week-end but server help so kind and helpful. We will be back next month! September 1, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Would give it 10 start if I could By far one of the best stayed i have had with the Westin. Special thanks to Frances and Estela for their help and great customer service,specially for making the baby feel special and welcome to come back and see his new friends :) :).over all the staff was great and ready to clean and the cleaning staff doing a great job and keeping the room clean after all the mess the baby can make. Very special thank you again for Frances and Estella and we look forward to staying there again in December :) :) August 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Amenities were awesome! I loved the Fitness Center and pool. The room was very comfortable and nice touch of free water. There was only one robe and would have been nice to have a second robe. The cost was great. When we arrived there were bus loads of people around and so it seemed so active and loud. By morning, everyone cleared out so I enjoyed the quiet. August 30, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb staff led by Abdul! My family and I checked in LATE. Abdul was considerate, expeditious and incredibly friendly to all of us. He even made sure my family had the right room. We had just completed a five hour drive and had another early the next morning. If Abdul could check me in for all of my travel.... Nice job! Rated 4 out of 5 by repeat guest Like the location of this hotel. Each time we have stayed here there have been different food options and none of them seem to be working well. We had lunch after we arrived. Seats in the dining room were torn and shabby. Staff was nice but not quick to serve. I like it here but I would plan on looking to dine elsewhere. August 20, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Stay, Improved Property I first stayed at this property with a colleague several years ago and found it hard to believe that this was a Westin. However, I must say that there has been significant improvement here! Ahmed and Estella from the front office are very accommodating and will always meet the needs of SPG members. Additionally, the Westin breakfast here is excellent and I recommend it to all. August 12, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Room We really enjoyed our stay with you, everything was nice looking and comfortable, if I had to complain about anything, it would be that our room had no refrigerator as a common item, instead we would have to pay $30.00 additional for one. I'm not sure it was per day or not. If I'm staying somewhere for at least three to five days, I would expect a refrigerator with no additional charge. This the first time I've ever stayed in a hotel without a refrigerator. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. August 7, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great food but maintenance needed I stayed at this location for 2 nights. The hotel looks impressive when you enter the lobby, and the staff are very friendly. However, as an SPG member, you are usually greeted with that recognition, and I was not, but that is not a big deal to me, and I only want to bring it to the attention hotel because this is something Sheraton prides itself in doing. The room looked nice on first glance, but after entering the bathroom, I could see messy grout/caulking on tiles, cracks, nicks in the bathtub and a poor paint job. It felt old and dingy even with the attempt at making it modern. However, the worst was that the air conditioning made a terrible LOUD banging sound from behind the walls every time the compressor went off. It was so loud that I first thought someone was slamming a door, but turns out it was coming from the AC. It kept me awake all night. After mentioning it to the staff, I was told they would look into it, but nothing was ever mentioned to me again, and it remained. However, on my first night, I arrived hungry and not wanting to go out, I went to the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff were wonderful. It made the stay much better, and I chose to eat there again the second night. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for a wonderful meal. However, I would NOT recommend anyone to stay here if they want to get a good night's sleep. August 7, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect stay This was our first stay at Westin Tysons Corner ... and it won't be our last!! We were superbly cared for and felt even "more special" than usual because of the extra touches provided by virtue of my wife's birthday. For our short stay, two members of your team stood out and merit special recognition and thanks: Estela Sunga at the front desk who welcomed us warmly, checked us in efficiently, and ensured a special birthday amenity was in the preassigned room awaiting our arrival; and Pi Hsiang in the restaurant who, amid a hectic crowd at breakfast, was kind, efficient, and friendly. We'll be back ... and will stay longer next time! WELL DONE! August 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has become a second home I've been staying at this hotel every week for almost a year now and the service has been consistently great. The rooms are clean and spacious, beds are "heavenly" and the food is pretty decent. What stands out the most about this place is the service. The front desk staff makes every effort to accommodate all your requests. I really like that there is a personal touch to every interaction by the hotel staff. After a year, it truly feels like a second home. August 1, 2014
