Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice amenities plus outstanding service I am writing this after my second stay at this particular Westin. I continue to be impressed with this hotel. From the moment I stepped into the hotel until I checked out, I was surrounded by personnel who went out of their way to attend to my needs. The young woman who checked me in was extremely helpful and greeted me by name each time I had a question. The restaurant manager walked down the hallway, where I was sitting waiting for my family to arrive for breakfast, to ask me if I would like a cup of coffee. The amenities are plentiful from plush towels provided at the pool to a lifeguard on duty whenever the pool is open. The bedding is superb and the shower head a luxury. Thank you for the wonderful stay at your hotel. It made a visit to my daughter in DC memorable and truly pleasurable. July 15, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Service - Room Repairs Needed Westin Tyson's Corner is mine and my husbands hotel of of choice. It is normally a great value for the price, clean, and staff is courteous. This particular stay, our room had a number of issues. First, the television didn't work. We had to wait for a technician to come and fix it. Our bathroom was in disrepair. The sink bowl was separating from the countertop allowing water to spill down under the sink. The plate from the shower handle was coming off. We spoke to management about our concerns and they sent someone to fix it by recaulking both the sink and shower. We were offerred a change of room, but since we had an agenda planned, we did not have time to change, so the manager offered us a complimentary breakfast buffet for our troubles. July 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay and rate I just needed a place to stay after a long drive and got a great rate. I was surprised what a nice hotel the Westin Tyson corner is. I really appreciated the note and bowl of fruit as a welcome. Will highly recommend. July 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel and great service Great hotel and wonderful service Front desk staff was overly pleasant and have a great attitude Being a platinum member, I received a hand written not with a bowl of fresh fruit when I arrived back from meetings at 8:00pm – very nice surprise and was hungry, so a perfect touch I forgot the women’s name that wrote the letter. I really appreciate her doing this! First time staying at this hotel in DC and will be back June 27, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Hotel Great Price!!! Had a nice stay at this hotel. I was able to use my SPG mobile phone app, find the hotel, reserve the room and check in all within 5 mins. i must say the pricing was excellent for the quality of accommodations. July 21, 2014
