When we ck'd in around 4pm, the desk staff seemed disinterested that we were SPG Gold members. Not surprising, as most SPG properties we've stayed at except for our stay in St. Louis last May. The evening staff were not informed about SPG Gold gifts, called them amenities???
The pool was not part of the Westin, & facilities were not very well kept.
The morning staff were more informed and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast as expected with our Gold status.
In short...... SPG needs shoppers to visit and rate their properties as Under Cover Boss!

This hotel is fine except for the mysterious $10.60 facility rate upon checkout. I asked what it was and they said it was for bottled water in room, use of pool and gym. The fee is fine but it should be advertised upon booking the reservation or just included in the rate. I don't like surprises.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property using points-as a Platinum member to no avail. Both times P consistently said, "No upgrades were available." Funny, I had several friends contact Reservations-spoke with Felicia, Brian and Carolyn and they all stated three standard suites were available when I checked in! Again, this is the second time- this is not a coincidence! The last time I did the exact same thing when I overheard the desk state- "they are using points, only a standard is available!"
So much for loyalty! Clearly, being a Platinum Member means nothing at this hotel!

Although this Westin is showing its age, it is still a fine, upscale hotel. While we enjoyed our stay, unfortunately the AC unit was unable to cool our room too well, and we were too hot under the Heavenly Bed. Also, we were staying here as part of our 10 Year Anniversary, and I told such to the front desk when checking in. They said they would do something special, but nothing happened (that I noticed anyway). It wasn’t a huge deal, but it would be nice if the staff follows-through when they indicate something special will be done.

This hotel is beautiful and will exceed many expectations however I have had a few rude staff members and drinks at their are far pricier than need to be, but over all nice place.

Hotel is ok, but keep in mind that a $10 facility fee is added per night.

I arrived and checked in - no upgrades available - and to make matters worse the king room I reserved was also unavailable. Generally I receive terrific service as a Gold member, but here, very, very disappointed.
