I believe what you charge should include complimentary parking and internet and breakfast. I can get all this at $50.00 hotel stay. Therefore we did not tip the maids nor the valet guys as the room was over rated. And the pool area should of had a spa.

Hotel is in a perfect location and views are beautiful. Room are nice size and bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly. I recomend the hotel. Negative is that it is going through renovation and hotels are being worked on and slow. Exercise room is small.

If you want this property to carry the Westin Brand Name it needs to be in line wiht what would be expected under that roof. It's not. Staff needs better training (They are not bad, just rough around the edges) especially at Reception and Dining.

Some long needed renovations are taking place. As of 3/4/13, updated elevators, new carpet in guestrooms and conf/party room area. Much needed. Thank you for listening! Also, I believe they are re-doing the lobby next. NOW it's a Westin!

This hotel is in a great location and has great nite life and restaurants within walking distance. But the elevator noise is like a freight train and I was on the 11th floor as far away from the mechanics of the elevator as one could get.

We attended a convention at the near by center. The elevator services needs improvement long waits for service. The bathroom cleaning needs more attention, the toilet was dirty during the entire stay in room 631. Carpet stained near door.

My room, the bed and TV were very comfortable. It was located near an elevator which I heard all day and night. It was the on,y thing that annoyed me and for the price of the room, I felt. Should not hear the motor of the elevator.

This facility is old and the rooms are very basic and in general not in good condition. When reading about the room appointments, such things as mentioning the chair and that it has an ironing board and iron should have been a clue

The room was small but comfortable and clean. It had a spectacular view of the waterway and bridges in
Tampa. Not much to do in the immediate area but shuttle driver was informative and kind so we had a great time in nearby Ybor City.

The staff meets all of my needs and is very welcoming and accommodative. It is a pleasure to stay at the hotel and I would recommend it to anyone staying in the Tampa area.

Staff was friendly as usual.
Upgrade to large suite was really appreciated.
Though, facility (entire hotel) needs some degree of upgrade.
Suite we stayed had few bugs and even though suite was ok, entire hotel looked like worn out.

My wife and I stayed at the Harbour Island, Tampa Westin Hotel this past weekend, Aug. 9-11 for my 40 Yr. High School Reunion. It was a bad start from the beginning as our rooms were not available to us until after 5:30 pm. The next day, we had not received room service as of 5 pm, when we returned to our room to get ready for the Reunion Dinner. Housekeeping showed up at 6 as we were getting ready so they could not work on our room. We settled for fresh towels. So did many of my classmates on our floor. The bathroom sink and bathtub were heavily clogged and the water would not drain for an extended period of time, making it very uncomfortable and slippery in the tub. We did not call this in to maintenance as our time in the room was limited to showers and sleep. The next day, checkout, Housekkeping did manage to be there early morning, even with the Do Not Distrurb sign on the door, wanting to know our estimated checkout time. Wow!!!!! Therefore, next time we are in Tampa, while we enjoy the Harbour Island area, we will stay at another hotel instead. I am not one to complain, however, I owe it to future guests of your property. From the moment we walked in I could tell this was not going to be a good experience. We wanted the group rate for $179 but had to pay the regular price of $250. The hotel looks worn and tired. The hallways were cold, always a chill in the air. When we got into the room it was freezing. The heater was not working so we called and they came and said it was fixed. It was not. I called again and they said it was fixed. It was not. The third time I told them they finally fixed it. The light in the hallway was out so we could not see to get dress in the mirror. I had to call two times to get it fixed. The third time I went down to the lobby and they said that it was not the bulb but the electrical wiring. Needless to say they did nothing. I asked for more towels but the next day they took all the towels and gave us less than we had at the beginning. No hand towels or face towels were left. I put a sign on the door, do not disturb and the housekeeper knocked on the door to clean the room. I told them about fixing the light but it never got done. I'm too upset to go on...

Justin, Winnelle, Lauren, Ana, and most of the staff in general have been extremely hospitable and their attention to my personal preferances have exceeded my expectations by far. Great client service at this hotel!

on the SPG floor the hallway carpet was very dingy and needs to be replaced. the awful part is, I told this to your staff the last time I stayed in the hotel last August.

Everything was great except no hot water in shower. They fixed that day had bad water valve. this is something Maid could of reported when cleaning tub instead left for me to handle after taking cold shower!

Location was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was extraordinary and servers very efficient. It was very relaxing at the pool to observe all the water craft on the channel.

Many of the rooms did not have a safe for valuables. Checking in took a long time due to the number of guest checking in at once. The bar did not have tonic water. The guest rooms were very clean.

There is a nightclub next door that lets out at 2:30am and everyone honks the car horns on way out. Hotel staff says it happens every weekend. Needless to say, you will have a terrible nights sleep.

I loved the Westin in Tampa, FL! Not only was the hotel at a beautiful location, it was very clean and the staff was wonderful! I would definitely go again and recommend anyone to stay here!

Great for access to downtown museum, riverwalk. Jump on the trolley for breakfast downtown and walk back along the river. Catch the streetcar to ybor city for evening entertainment.

Our king room on the 9th room had a nice view, was clean and very comfortable. The free pints of bottled water were a nice surprise. All employees were friendly and helpful.

The hotel has 3 elevators, 1 never opened , 1 worked, 1 wouldn't stop on my room floor. The elevators are slow and often was a 3-5 minute wait at a minimum to open.
