This hotel is being currently upgraded inside and there are several areas affected by the renovation. The hotel bar is closed. There is only 1 elevator available when going to the rooms.
-Do not book the Oasis rooms, there are very noisy from the pool area and even that there is access from the room to the pool once you are at the pool area you can't go back to your room from the same door, it locks up after you then you need to go back to the room using the common entrance.
-There are no water/drinks or snacks in the fridge.
-Our shower was dirty.
-Service at breakfast room is terrible.
-They advertise check out at 3 P.M. on Sundays but it's not correct. check out time is at 12 P.M.

The hotel is under construction so it's not fully working. However, there were many things that should have been attended to: pool area was out of towels, gym was never attended to, elliptical trainers were not working, etc. The final straw was they sent a survey that you couldn't access as it was not working properly. The hotel is not up to Westin standards. Beds were very comfortable and towels, etc were in great shape. One last thing, the TV's are small and the beds are far from the TV making it difficult to see.

hotel is in great location in the Gables area within walking distance to restaurants and shops also close enough to beach and downtown. Rooms are very roomy and comfortable. The only thing it lacks is a well stocked snack store as well as restaurants and bars to hang out. Staff was very pleasant and helpful making it a very good experience.

Had booked a meeting room with food which was cancelled by the hotel 4 hours before the meeting was planned to take place. I had team members flying in from Mexico and Brazil and had to ask a business partner in Miami to borrow their meeting space with very short notice. Further, my Brazil marketing lead arrived one day later than planned and his room had been given to some one else because he did not check in on time. He had to stay at two different hotels during our stay in Miami.

Great Hotel in the heart of Coral Gables walk to restaurants on the miracle mile. Beautiful renovated rooms, very comfortable, great staff very professional and helpful. Pool area needs some attention and they are still working on the finishing renovating the lobby, which will be nice I am sure. Good value..

My husband and i stayed at the hotel last week and i cant say nothing but good things about it. The staff was great, everyone from the front desk to the cleaning crew offered nothing but exceptional service. We hope to be back sooner than later. Thanks to Maria Elena for doing her best with our early check in and thanks to Humberto for being so attentive as well.

Staying in Miami and not staying at the Westin Colonnade in Coral Gables is like not going to Miami for me. From the moment the valet takes your car and go up to Check-in, you feel very welcome and as if everyone knew you.
Congrats to Al in the front desk - what a great person to have checking in guests!
