I only travel to the Minneapolis area a few times per year, and this was my first stay at this hotel. I'll be back. The room was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was heaven! Parking was easily accessible (and free!). The exercise room was very clean, and the equipment kept up very well. The staff were extremely responsive to any needs. My only bit of feedback is the in-room wi-fi service. Unfortunately, you have to pay for service for each device you use, which I didn't realize. So I had to purchase wi-fi for both my ipad and my laptop. The front desk clerk explained it's tracked by the ip address, but I still think that's kind of a poor policy. She was kind enough to remove the additional charges though.

I stay at the Westin Edina for 3-4 nights at least once a month.
Generally very impressed with the friendly staff and good service.
Most recent 3 night stay was disappointing as my room was never cleaned, refreshed or made up during the entire stay. Very disappointing.
Suggest implementing a better quality control system to validate room occupancy and daily cleaning occur.

Have stayed here several times, and always happy with my stay and the service. It's a more upscale Westin, clean, quiet and attentive staff.

We've been bragging you guys up to everyone. The beds and rooms are so comfortable. The whole atmosphere in the hotel is so pleasant & clean. The personnel make you feel so welcomed. We can't wait for another get away week end in the real near future.

Another quick leisure stay.
POSITIVES: Amazing hotel, very friendly staff, I was upgraded to a beautiful suite. The suites at this hotel are truly amazing, very spacious with a living room and a large dining table that can seat about 8 people, it also has a tub and two bathrooms. The Westin double showerheads are refreshing.
NEGATIVES: Club lounge located on the 7th floor is open in the evenings from 1700 hrs to 1900 hrs and the food is only available for TWO HOURS. If you are checking in after 1900 hours it will not be possible to get any food. I truly feel that the TWO HOURS WINDOW is too short. SPG-75 and SPG-100 members who ulitize your24 facility and members who check in after 1900 hrs will get no food. In addition any member who wants to go shopping at the Edina Galleria mall or wants to check out a movie at the nearby AMC theater in the evening will have to use the club lounge only within the 2 hours bracket.
CLUB LOUNGE BREAKFAST: The breakfast service is excellent and on weekends the Westin has extended hours until 1100 hrs. You can sleep in on a Saturday or Sunday for a little longer before breakfast especially if you have been awake the previous night or after a late night flight. The food is excellent.
RESTAURANTS : I ate at THE GOOD EARTH and the Westin front desk has a 20% off voucher which you need to take with you to get a discount at various nearby restaurants. The Westin is connected via an underground walkway to the mall. There is a Starbucks right opposite the Westin if you are a coffee lover.
POOL AND HOT TUB: Pool and hot tub located on the ground floor are amazing. You will need your room key for access.
OVERALL ATMOSPHERE: Family and seniors. Do not expect a club or party atmosphere. Its a combination of peace, tranquility, family and seniors.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Kindly introduce EXTENDED HOURS for the club lounge in the evenings if possible. The two hours window from 1700-1900 hrs is too short. Addition of extra 1-2 hours after 1900 hrs may be helpful.
OVERALL: An AMAZING SPG hotel. You will feel relaxed and energized here. I always stay here for leisure and to recharge myself. Try it out and you will immensely enjoy it

It was a please to be treated with such royalty and respect. Our stay was far better than a lot of the hotels we stay at. the service was superior up to and including on of the maintenance staff caring out luggage and helping us get to the front desk and than making sure we were not left alone and unattended to find our room. I would recommend this hotel. Thank you, for providing a service that quite frankly is being forgotten in this industry.
