All I can say is that the staff at this Westin is caring! They west above and beyond what one would expect...from dinner reservations to suggesting a limo versus a cab to the airport (as it was less expensive). The dining for breakfast and lunch was delicious. The service impeccable.

I visit San Francisco 4 to 5 times each year & this Westin has rapidly become one of my favorites after 4 stays, each one excellent. The SPG Preferred floor gives panoramic city view, the room maintenance is subperb, the hotel amenities are top notch. I plan to visit many more times.

Staff was OK as to be expected.
Lobby was under renevation without letting us know.
Shower Pressure was terrible.
Not even a complimentary bottle of water...charged for everything.
Internet was way overpriced at 18.95.
DISASTER. Would not stay here again for the price of this place

Our stay was excellent and we enjoyed it very much. The hotel was clean and efficient. The only concern was the confusion with the green choice. It was difficult having to explain this on a daily basis whether we wanted housekeeping service or not. There needs to be a pool on site.

The hotel building, the staff and the accommodations for our meeting were superb. I would definitely put this facility on my list of places to return.

Had a wonderful check in and were able to upgrade to a King suite with a Roll away! Ended up on the 34th floor with a beautiful view from every window.
Beds are fabulous, even the rollaway. Found ourselves wanting to just enjoy our room as much as we wanted to go out and enjoy SF.

LOVE to stay at this hotel when visiting San Francisco. However, have tried Ducca Lounge many times before and have always been disappointed. Lacks atmosphere and employee service big time. Will definitely be staying at the hotel again, but will not be bothering to try Ducca again.

I wouldn't say there is anything bad in the quality of this hotel, but the service at the front desk when checking in was horrible. They didn't acknowledge any amenities (free wifi, extra points, etc) for being a gold member or even mention it at all. I had to bring it up myself.

For a deluxe room and rate it was extremely dissapointing. The room is very small and cramped and the bathroom was TINY. You couldn't close the door uless you squeezed sideways. Toilet was also the type they have in my kids' preschool, small and low???? Very very dissapointing...

i love this hotel...i've been staying here for the past 3 or 4 years during Oracle Openworld I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Solara at the front desk was AMAZING..she took the time to go over all the details of my stay and was very patient with me...she ABSOLUTELY deserves KUDOS.

As a heavy sleeper I was surprised to find that the level of noise in the hotel woke me. On complaining I was told that lots of rooms are affected by elevator and there were no rooms I could move to (or alternative hotels). For a $300+ a night room this is totally unacceptable

Good location. But avoid Room 628. Poor layout and low ceiling beams. Room feels claustrophobic. Bathroom is tiny. Smallest I have encountered in a US hotel.

This is an outstanding hotel. The staff is very friendly and really make you feel like you were at home. It is very close to the convention center and to many attractions. Christopher and Enrique in the restaurant are simply amazing and Zeke in the front desk is outstanding.

Utilized a suite award and got a nice 1 bedroom corner suite with a great view of the bay. Furniture was a little worn, but overall the space of the room was great. Bedroom is quite large as well. Hotel is a great location, with lots of food options within just a few feet.

The hotel met my expectations and the staff was exceptional, especially Brandon at the front desk. He was extremely professional, accommodating, and met what I would consider all the attributes of an excellent service provider. Would highly recommend this hotel to others.

After staying in many hotels, Westin is consistently one of the best hotels in world. The staff is friendly and rooms and grounds are well maintained. I mentioned I was newly engaged and the front desk staff gave us breakfast vouchers. It was a nice touch to a great stay.

We had a party to go to and didn't really want to drive so we decided to stay at the Westin. Best decision! We wandered around the city, enjoyed each other's company, got ready in our fabulous room, went to the party, then climbed into the most cozy bed ever. Perfect!

This Hotel is the best value in San Francisco. Top notch staff, great location, comfortable rooms and superior service. Have been staying at the Westin Market St regularly for the last 16 years. Has gone thru some name changes but has always been incredibly consistent.

Our experience over recent stay was warm, personal and very professional. We checked in at spg counter and from moments of our arrival we received very welcoming service from reception bell man to breakfast which is one of the best in town. Will definitely return again.

This hotel is always on top of my mind, when I travel to SF.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, facilities and amenities are great, staff is very friendly.
SPG recognition is excellent too. They remember and fulfill my usual requests even months after I was staying there.

Great room, good service - In room dining steak dinner was very poor, cooked well, but more gristle than meat, so they need to improve their meat purchasing. Everything else was good. Fitness centre was closed for renovations also, not a big deal, but an unconvienence.

I stayed for for 5 nights in January . Rooms were dirty and first one I stayed in was very small. Internet was out for 3 days. Fitness center is a joke and needs a pool and real machines. Staff was very helpful but you can't get past the need for capex. Location good

This hotel is conveniently located in SF city near Union Square. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed and linens were heavenly for getting a good night's sleep. Check-in and check-out were efficient. Good value for the SF area and amenities.

This hotel and especially the 2 charming ladies Geraldine and Carmen always make me so welcome.
Where possible they ensure a wonderful bright room with a view.
Hotel is just off Market Str--very modern--clean.
Rooms are spacious with amazing views and great bathrooms

I wasn't there long - got in late and left early. But staff was great and room was excellent. I like the sheets, the towels and the free water. I hate it when a hotel wants to charge me for bottled water in the room. First class accomodations for a reasonable price.

I finally had enough points to upgrade to a Starwoods Preferred Guest Room and it was definitely worth it. I love the Westin, but the upgraded rooms were fabulous. As usual, the service at the SF Market St. hotel was great. I can't wait to stay at another Westin!

Stayed here during the Google Io conference. The staff was not overwhelmed and was still able to take care of all their patrons. Room was spacious, great view and climate control was great. The bed was comfortable and the work was adequate. Would highly recommend.
