Family Plan Policy

Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.

Guests must be 18 years or older with valid photo identification to check in. Acceptable forms include an ID card or passport. It is possible for parents to check-in for underage guests. Parents must inform our reception team by email at front.office.grandhotel@westin.com or by fax at (49)(89) 9264 869. Please include a copy of the parent's passport with a separate letter confirming check-in for the child or children.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel Food & Room Facilites Hello, I have stayed 3 times in the last month in the Westin Grand Munich hotel for 4 nights each time. Here are my comments: 1. Breakfast costs a lot of money but yet lacks the followings: - Eqipment for making vegetable juice like other hotel have. - Fresh vegetable salads and not just big sliced pieces of tomatos, cucambers, etc. 2. Room service: - One time when I ask for room service dinner, I ordered Salmon with vegetables and I emphasized I do not want rice, but instead more cooked vegetables. I was told there is no problem and that is ok, yet I got exactly what I did nit want: a lot of rice and very small vegetables. - On the last night I ordered Dinner for room service I had to wait almost 50 minutes when I was told it will taks a bout 20 minutes. I did not ask for very special food. 2. Roon facilities: - not enough connectors for electricity equipment like PC, Mobile phone near the table. All was occupied for the lamps, internet routers, etc. - Not enough lamps light in the room, not to mention that some lamps were not operational. - In my last visit, it was not possible to clock the room, which was a bit frighting as I stay by myself. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic!! We decided to start our holiday a day earlier than planned and decided to spend the additional day in Munich before heading to Innsbruck. The plan was to come back to Munich and spend 4 nights there later so we decided to try Westin for the 1st night. We were absolutely delighted by this 1 day spent here that we cancelled our earlier booked hotel for the later part of the holidays and booked Westin for complete stay in Munich. The hotel is a little away from the centre of the city but the its very near to the U station which helps you reach the centre (Marienplatz) in 10 mins (6 U stations away only). Hotel presents amazing value as compared to hotels in city centre as the prices are as comparable to 4 star hotels near the city centre however you will still need to use "U" to reach city centre from these hotels. Hotel offers "Executuve Club" rooms which come with breakfast, use of executive club lounge wihch offers snacks & coffee all day and beer and wines in the evening. You can unwind in the lounge every evening after your trips to city centre or excursions. Internet is free for the lounge users which is a great plus. Rooms are quite large as per European standards. The hotel has a very well equipped gym and heated pool area is quite good. The exec club rooms are on higher floors (19-22) and thats a plus when you book these rooms. Hotel has a concierge deak which helps you in all kind of travel information which i found quite helpful. In all, we enjoyed our time spent in this hotel. Unfortunately, because of holiday season the exec lounge times were reduced to 1200 to 2100 hrs from normal times of 630 to 2230 hrs which meant we could not have an early morn coffee in the lounge as we are habituated to it however the hotel staff was kind enough to provide us coffee in the lobby area on request. I would highly reccomend this hotel and its exec club rooms. January 4, 2012
