I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing get away. The staff was very attentive to my individual needs and all request were honored upon my arrival.

Despite making advanced reservations and calling on the day of our arrival, when we checked in to the hotel at 6:15 p.m., we were informed that there was no King bed room available for my wife and I. The hotel indicated that we could have a room with two separate beds. That was unacceptable. Then, we were offered a handicap accessible room, and no others. We agreed but were immediately told that someone else booked it just "moments ago".
This forced the hotel to find another solution, so reluctantly, we were allowed to stay on the concierge floor. The room was fine. However, when we tried to eat breakfast as part of the offer, there was no oatmeal, eggs, waffles, or coffee left. We asked for some coffee, and were told "I'll get to it, but I'm busy right now" from the staff member assigned to the food. Her supervisor finally came in and apologized. Obviously, we ate elsewhere. And, not to forget about parking, we had to stand in a line of more than thirty cars when we first arrived. There was an insufficient number of valet parking attendants and no self park. The self park lot was full. For a Westin, this hotel seemingly lacks good management.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The staff is beyond exceptional. They are friendly, attentive and prompt with service. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool/hot tub looked relaxing, but when we went downstairs to use it, there were way too many children running around and doing cannon balls in both the hot tub and pool. Nothing wrong with children though, we just needed something a little more quiet. So unfortunately we had to bypass the hot tub. Overall a wonderful stay and we cannot wait until our next visit.

I arrived in the evening around 10pm and notice a left over room service cart outside my door. When I left my room at 7am the cart was still there. Surprised that no one came to retrieve it and the food sat out in the hallway.
My room was also not very clean or put together. Other than the bed being bad I couldn't tell if the room had been flipped from the previous tenant. There were used towels in the bathroom.

Loved every minute! Heavenly Bathrobe! Relaxing swim & hot tub. Excellent food & drinks. Gorgeous View. Excellent Location. Everything within walking distance. Such a Fun Filled Weekend! Can't wait to come back!

The staff is very friendly and accommodating the rooms were maintained very well and spacious.This is the perfect location to visit many of the great restaurants that are opening in Detroit.

Everyone is just wonderful but 5-stars go to David, the Westin Book Cadillac SPG Guest Services Guru! David remembers my preferences, me name (which is so rare for hotel that are as busy as this Westin) and most of all, attends to every request with a big smile! Checking in when David is on duty is so refreshing after long flight delays and a whole day between airports. Thank you David for all your help every time I check into your Westin!

My wife and I had to best time at hotel, the room was quite and the bed was oh so comfortable. The staff was very professional and the food was great. By the way we had breakfast and I order a link sausage that had the best spicy taste to them, what was it and where can I get them? Thanks for a great stay!!!!!
