Very few smiles from reception to housekeeping to restaurant and bar helps make the atmosphere cold and unfriendly. Stone and glass materials are also cold, though clean and contemporary. Not a single Mexican detail here. The soaps are nice and the valley views outstanding.

The hotel is great. I've had the opportunity as Head of Latin America & Caribbean Regional Events for SAP - to host large and small events at the Westin in Hollywood Beach - FL, and the Westin in Lima - Peru.
My only recommendation is that the lighting inside the bathrooms needs to be changed. I understand the Zen ambiance, but more lighting is needed.

I stayed at this hotel during my relocation from Santa Fe, DF to Monterrey, NL. The staff was extremely attentive and premitted me to bring my cat for no extra charge. The hotel staff even brought us a special bed, food mat, and bowls for her to use during her stay. This hotel has provided the best service I have ever experienced in 5 years of traveling on a weekly basis. I strongly recommend this hotel, worth every peso.

Staff is too slow to respond, they were trying to over charge me for laundry which I did not use, they charged for 3 full days of internet, when my stay did not exceed 28 hours.

Wifi is inconsistent. Reconsider not having early morning coffee service in lobby or near gym. Used to have it but seem to have taken it away.
Great location in Santa Fe / Terrific restaurant in ground floor (not affiliated with Westin). Wifi works better in the restaurant on their network than the hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel, as the day that hosts me, passed my debit card several times, making the charge to it several times ... When I went to reception to inform them of the incident told me that the next day would return the money, and so for several days after they said it was not their problem, it's been weeks that you have not returned my money

During various stays random charges appear on the bill and they seem unwilling to remove them even when they can't produce an authorized signature of those charges. It has happened to colleagues of mine as well and they have they same attiude - we will do you a one-time favor and remove it.

I have travelled and stayed in Westin's and other luxury hotels all over continental US and Asia. Mexico City Santa Fe Westin is the best in terms of high quality luxury amenities, spacious ultra modern clean rooms and very attentive staff. The restaurant in this hotel is not that great in terms of food though the ambience is very nice. I would recommend Mexico Westin specially to Starwood frequent members.

The facilities and staff at this location are absolutely top-notch. Multi-lingual and attentive - they make your business stay extremely trouble-free.
Two staff to look out for who are excellent are Marco (bellhop) and Pia (front desk). Both appear to really enjoy their work and go out of there way to make you feel at home and highly valued by the hotel.

I stayed at this Westin shortly after opening and was very impressed with the facility. The rooms and views were amazing and the complimentary upgrade was perfect! The front desk and bell staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant had amazing food and fresh fruit but the staff was still working on the service. The fitness facility is on the top floor and has a great view!

El fin de semana me escapé con mi esposo por aniversario. Pedì en los comentarios de la reservación que incluyeran un detalle romántico, y no vi nada especial . . ni una toalla si quiera! El domingo, a pesar de que había un check out a las 4 de la tarde, estuvieron entrando en la habiatación durante la mañana, sin ni siquiera tocar la puerta, al menos 3 veces (una para checar el servibar). Se me hace una falta de respeto, que entren sin avisar, sin tocar si quiera, pudiendo saber que la habiatción era por una noche unicamente y que la salida era tarde . . no había necesidad de hacer la habitación o por lo menos podían haber preguntado.
