This hotel is excellent, but is useless to be a spg member, they treat you the same. No room upgrade, not even have a room in the spg levels.
The hotel is so good that no problem with the room or hotel itself, but would expect some extra effort for regular spg members.

Overall room space and facilities were pretty good. Close proximity to few good shopping complexes like Samara and Pantaloon malls. Also have lots of local food options for food enthusiasts (Non-Veg).
However, would like to have more vegetarian options for Asians. Simple Indian Recipes (Rice varieties) like Jeera Rice, Natural Curd Rice, Lemon Rice, Coconut Rice etc are great options. Preparation tips are easily available over the Internet. These will make the stay very pleasant. This time we had almost 5 people in our group searching for vegetarian foods outside.

the cancel my reservation with notice me , i arrive and was no room , the most anti professinal .. very upsad never will recomend this hotel again , and for sure will write to all site this experrience ... very very upsad

I spend 3 weeks at the Westin Santa Fe and the staff treated me like part of their family. Extremely accomodating- especially when I needed to extend my stay and every place was showing sold out. I love this hotel. It is my go to hotel whenever I am in Mexico.

Very few smiles from reception to housekeeping to restaurant and bar helps make the atmosphere cold and unfriendly. Stone and glass materials are also cold, though clean and contemporary. Not a single Mexican detail here. The soaps are nice and the valley views outstanding.

The hotel is great. I've had the opportunity as Head of Latin America & Caribbean Regional Events for SAP - to host large and small events at the Westin in Hollywood Beach - FL, and the Westin in Lima - Peru.
My only recommendation is that the lighting inside the bathrooms needs to be changed. I understand the Zen ambiance, but more lighting is needed.
