Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel's front desk staff is amazing! As a frequent guest of the Westin Dulles I cannot tell you what a treat it is to see Tina at check-in. Her smile and enthusiasm, along with her accent are adorable. If I've had a tough day she completely changes my disposition, and makes me smile. Room #743 is a favorite of mine and I request it when I book my stay on The view of the lake is calming and it's location near the end of the hall makes it nice and quiet. Tofik, Anwar, and Tina always do their best to see that I get that room, and I truly appreciate their efforts. A stay at the Westin Dulles would not be complete without a call to room service. Jennifer's friendly voice as I order the same thing every visit (I know boring), the salmon and apple pie makes me feel right at home. These individuals do a great job representing your property, so thank-you for allowing me to acknowledge them. September 24, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Weekend Getaway was awesome We had a awesome weekend at The Westin Washington Dulles from the moment we arrived. As a SPG member you get your perks and the Westin was more than accommodating. We returned one year later to celebrate our one year anniversary. We almost got the same room on the same floor. Our stay was awesome thanks to Jennifer at the front desk. She was very pleasant and such a warm spirit. That's what you want to see at the front desk when you check into a well name establishment. Rated 2 out of 5 by Uneven performance This is a relatively new Westin property, but the difficulty I encountered trying to get engineering to fix the A/C during the heat wave seemed extreme at best (it didn't get fixed before I left). Room Service was good, but the MOD failed to call me back regarding my difficulties. Stay at your own risk. July 18, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by My stay I've stayed at the Westin Dulles Airport in Herndon VA at least 3 times. I was disappointed when the driver of the shuttle didn't offer to get my bag to put on the shuttle or off. The staff in the restaurant is good and friendly. The last meal at the restaurant / bar area, on 07/14/16 one of the servers, I wish that I remembered his name, was nice and recognized me from my stay for the week. On 07/15/16 I ended not going to the office next door, very sick, Later that evening I called for dry toast and ginger ale, a couple of hours the taker of my order called to see if I was better. wow, thank you for your concern. Rated 2 out of 5 by Good and bad The hotel was beautiful and well appointed and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A wonderful hotel EXCEPT the room service food was absolutely horrible. We paid $38 for a chicken sandwich and a pasta (no beverages), and besides being lukewarm, it was bland and almost inedible. Rated 1 out of 5 by Badly needs some Customer Service Training Upon check-in the rude person at the front desk said we couldn't have a king room all three nights even though we called ahead to make sure this room type was available for us. After arguing with me, he still gave me the wrong room (2 doubles) so we had to go back downstairs to get the correct room. He claimed to be the night manager. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true given the poor quality of this hotel. We got to the room, the air didn't seem to work. We were able to get it low enough to sleep and decided to deal with it in the morning. I went down to the front desk in the morning and asked them to have someone look at it while we were out for the day. We came back 7 hours later and it wasn't fixed. We had to ask a second time, at this point it was FINALLY fixed. Maid service seemed to be spotty. I had to track someone down in the hall one of the morning because there was no extra toilet paper in the room. We attempted to go to the pool on a Tuesday morning. We used our key, went in...the spa was already on. Relaxed in here for about a half hour and were drying off when someone came in saying to us we shouldn't be in there. The pool is closed. Signs in the pool area state hours are 6-10am and 5-9pm on the weekdays. I told him we used our key, if it was closed the door shouldn't have let us in. He wouldn't even let us dry off and escorted us out of the area. May 28, 2016
