I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and never I have got an upgrade despite being a SPG Gold member. In all instances, the staff tells me the hotel is full, which is not true. I know in few instances, the hotel was 1/2 empyty. I wish they would be honest they don't want to upgrade their guest instead of lying.

I wanted to take some time and write about one of the drivers at the Westin. I have been staying at the hotel for about two months, and when Steven picks me up from work at the end of my work shift, it truly makes my day. He is kind, prompt, courteous, and funny. We talk about family, life, teach each other different languages and words. He really does exemplify the idea of client service.

i am really disappointed with service after staying in this hotel for 3 nights and spending money for suite .
service is too bad
room cleanliness is really bad
after repeatedly telling them also they dont follow instruction
after there duty managers instruction also staff does not follow instruction
its sad i suffered soo much that night 12 am i had to call room service and get room cleaned by standing on there head.

Lovely hotel and staff. I've stayed here twice and look forward to returning.
The rooms are very comfortable, beds are amazing. I have never slept better!
Entire Staff is so very kind and friendly.

Due to my SPG syndrome, I have put my parents at a Westin hotel during their holidays for a few days and they loved it. However, this is my first stay at a Westin for myself. All the amenities; comfortable bed, great music selections, Food services from skilled chefs to happy to serve waiters, excellent trainers at Fitness room and infinity pool (if you didn't mind looking at a mini slum on the other side of the river) and exceptionally attentive pool boys will make your stay feel like it's a home away from home. However, I have to say that I am a little disappointed with the reception staffs. I will list why:
1. I presented them with my SPG # (after check in), the staff recognized that I am a Gold member but did not provide anything for my status, regardless that I have already checked in, I did not receive a welcome pack like I was offered at other SPG hotels around the world.
2. The room and amenities are great. The staffs from House Keeping, Dinning Room Services, Fitness/Spa and Pool are all great. They make me feel like I am well taken cared of.
I only have a few things to say about the front of the house staffs (the staffs behind the reception counter). I am not sure if this is the case for everyone, maybe only for guests staying for more than a week, but I was given a preference list to fill out for accommodation during my stay.
I had filled it out and returned it. Only a few of my requirements are met. The ones that were met were consistent like wake up calls.
However, I had inquired about Super Food, I was not cleared on where it was going to be left in room daily (which was the case at the other SPG hotel at Pune). The staff had called the kitchen ( I presumed) and told me a list of fruits that they have, then I was told that they are all available at Buffet. So, what is the point of listing Super food on the preference sheet? And I did not get any super food left for me in my room during my stay. Also, the few other amenities requested were not delivered.
The reception desk provided spotty service. For example, some guests were provided with a guide book of the city and some had to ask for it. Some guests were given access to different level of floors and some weren't even if they came in a same group.
From my observation alone, it seems to be that some receive better service than the others. It could be the cultural differences and that the staffs are curious about them and just trying to learn more about them? Hard to tell...especially when you compare their rooms and your room (cost the same amount)
3. The dinning room at seasonal gets exceptionally busy during weekend due to several private functions, then the always attentive wait staffs of the dinning room are scrambling to set up tables or serve larger parties, you are left alone waiting to get your coffee or tea. It should be organized better by adding more staffs for weekend services.
I would still recommend this hotel however, it should realized that the Pune city is growing at a fast pace, and that there are other great hotels with better amenities. They should realize who the royal customers are and treat how they deserve.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and took care of all our needs. The property and rooms are very well appointed and location is excellent to get around to different parts of Pune. I will definitely visit again and would recommend the property to anyone visiting Pune.

A lovely hotel, though extremely modern, so if you prefer a more traditional feel, it's not the one.
The restaurants offer a decent range, though in common with a number of hotels, it's very hard to get the local food in a casual setting. For example, as a solo business traveller (of which there are many), it's not nice to sit alone in a formal restaurant. The bar area is better for this, but there you can't get the Indian food - just some bar snacks. There are Indian snacks, but they're always the same everywhere.
Room service is good, but not great. Don't expect clothes you've left lying around to be picked up and folded here - it doesn't happen. Well - they will be picked up from the floor, but otherwise left as they were.
Breakfast is good, but not the best and the service is a little slow on occasion.
These are MINOR points. The general experience is a very good one and I'm sure every traveller will enjoy staying here. I'll be back.

This is a great hotel..... however .... the insulation is so bad that you can't avoid hearing the "boom - boom" from the bar below.... as a gold member it would have been good to have been upgraded to a higher floor away from the noise.... Not sure if I will stay next time just because of this one (important) issue: peace and quiet...

Tried to apply my for SPG Platinum Suite Nights but could not do it online when accessing SPG website.
Contacted SPG Online Chat but they could not help too - being naïve, I actually tried 3 times on different days, believing it might be a system issue.
Finally at my third attempt, SPG Online Chat person referred me to Westin Pune. So I wrote an email to get help from Westin Pune.
I was brushed off by Westin even without them understanding my predicament. Finally it was sorted out and I was given an upgrade to a Suite.
On the day of check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to be give a very big room with a balcony, living area, dining area, dressing room etc.
But my happiness did not last long as 2 hours or so later, I received a call informing me that I need to shift to another room because there was some issue with the water supply on the 8th floor. I checked but the water supply seems ok to me. However I still relocated to a smaller room as I did not want to run the risk of having no water.
To date I still do not know the real reason of the need to relocate to another room but I do know that someone else check-in into that room after I shifted.
Not sure what to deduce out of this experience.

The hotel is lovely, but handles issues extremely poorly. I had a plumbing issue in my room that was preventing hot water from coming out of the shower (the sink worked fine). I pointed it out to the staff, who said it would be fixed. Shame on me, I didn't check the night before and sure enough the next morning no hot water again. Now is when it gets really irritating. I spoke to the manager at check out, and told him a discount was of no value to me because I'm traveling for business and will be reimbursed regardless. His solution? A 10% discount. I explained that he wasn't helping or making up for two rough mornings, and he just looked at me blankly. Not a good experience.

It's always been a pleasure to experience the hospitality of Westin Pune & stay in one of the best terrace suites across city hotels in India. The hotel is well located in Koregaon Park, good F&B outlets and an excellent club lounge.

I stayed here for three nights on a business trip and have nothing to complain about. Excellent hotel, nice and spacious rooms, great services, lovely pool and good food. I will certainly book again when in Pune.

The hotel is very well located. Entrance staff, check in and guest relations were polite and efficient. Check in was smooth especially when we were 4 rooms together. Rooms were clean, massive and with adequate amenities. Breakfast was quite elaborated with wide selection of indian and continental options. couldnt ask for more. I would definately recommend this hotel to others and stay there again if visiting pune. Indian Restaurant was delicious. Couldnt experience the club but heard its one of the most happening place in Pune.

The hotel is quite good overall but like most hotels I stayed at in India, the level of cleanliness needs to be improved especially in the bathroom. Even after housekeeping has done the room, there is dust on all the furniture.
Another annoying matter is that the hotel does not allow rickshaws to drop off guests at the main entrance and insist on having them go to the basement entrance! How rude!
Internet is not complimentary and charges are ridiculous. All hotels around the world have started providing comp Wi-Fi so maybe India should catch up to trends that are important to guests.

The Hotel is not too far from the Airport. The rooms are clean and most importantly the staffs at the hotel are great. The first room given was noisy and the lock on the bathroom was broken, once the staff was notified of the matter it was fixed and an up-grade of the room was done.
I am glad that I am an SPG member as the service in the hotel was good but I think being a SPG member the service provided was at a different level. I would recommend the hotel for the following reason.
- Good food
- Good location
- Great staff
- Being a SPG member your treated like a ROCK STAR!

1) Room arpet has stains
2) Room furniture full of stains
3) Laying couch was dirty: stains and had breadcrumbs on the side
3)Bathroom toillete should have a brush next to it
4)Sufficient toillete paper should be supplied (I ran out of paper several times and had to use tissues)
5) Hallway walls need to be fully painted (it shows patches of paint but they are still dirty)
6) Breakfast choices were less than before. Example: some seasonal fruits were not available - mangos, guaves, custard apple, etc.
7) Loud music late at night is annoying

I think the Westin Koregaon Park has the potential to be an excellent hotel, but falls a little short in some areas:
1. Bed comfort could be improved. Especially the very very heavy duvets.
2. The coffee shop offerings need to be reinvented, both in terms of quality and range. Some staff are very very courteous, some less so. We also discovered a worm in the melon offered as part of dinner dessert.
3. The Indian restaurant should also be totally revamped, both menu and chef.
4. The Italian restaurant is very good with the new chef. But the menu is very limited now. We ordered off the menu which was nice.
5. The club lounge is very very good. Service is a little slow at times, but the staff are very nice and friendly.
6. Front office staff are very good. Very courteous and attentive.

Having spent 2 nights recently at the The Westin Pune Koregaon Park hotel on a business trip, the hotel exceeded all my expectations! I found the staff to be attentive to all my needs and were always trying to be one step ahead in terms of what I may have wanted next! The bedroom was very clean, tidy and well presented with a good sized bathroom. Plenty of complimentary bottled water meant not having to ring for more unlike other hotels I have stayed in India. Food was excellent and fresh.
I very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

My stay here was excellent. Special mention to front of house guys - very courteous.
The coffee shop where breakfast is served has a fruit and juice prep area. An open bin inside the counter was a sore sight with splashes on the wall behind it. The counter top was cracked as well. The fruit prep board looked very dirty or well used.
The cleanliness everywhere else was brilliant. Thanks!

I am used to amazing service in India - however the Westin - despite being a beautiful hotel lacked service from the staff. There was nothing I could say grabbed my attention, no turn down service, no acknowledgement from staff, once checked in I might as well have been invisible - most unlike any other hotel where housekeeping, food and beverage and gym staff are always attentive and ask me if I need anything.

This hotel has excellent location within Pune to SP Infocity to the South-East and the Commerce-Zone to the North-West. Excellent shopping and food in the area for all tastes. The club scene within the hotel draws in large affluent crowds.

I've been stayign here since the hotel first opened and have stayed at a number of the other pune based hotels. The Westin is above most with regard to facilities, service and staff, but have noticed in the last two visits, a sense of things becoming a little "routine". Quality of food at Seasons seems to have diminished both in terms of selection (not much by way of new) and quality, the daily breakfast in particular. Food and beverage at Dublin Pub is good.

My stays at the Westin Pune India have been pure perfection. The service provided from everyone from the doorman to the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff and management was impeccable. From the 2nd day of arrival, everyone was calling me by name. Extremly impressive! Every little detail and nuance was seen to with utmost care and I felt like royalty while there. By the time I left, I felt like family. Thank you for everything. I look forward to my next stay.
