Rated 1 out of 5 by A great conference hotel If you are a member of a conference team, this is a great place. But if you enjoy a spacious room or trust to get a generous upgrade since you have been at the Westin Bali numerous times, go elsewhere. They discontinued the club and the rooms became tiny cubbyholes after the renovation. We couldn't even unpack our suitcases because we didn't find drawers to store all of our stuff. This stay was deeply disappointing. February 26, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Admirable service and facilities This was our fist stay at the Westin. The hotel amenities and accommodation services are simply enjoyable. Staff across the spectrum of services always proactive and accommodative. Kids Club services and program has been fantastic. Well constructed activities and dedicated staff made it unforgettable experience for our children. F&B facilities and services are simply impeccable!! We loved and enjoyed fresh selection of foods and drinks but above all staff and Management attention to detail and relentless upbeat attitude. SPA services professional and immensely relaxing. We had 1hrs massage by the beach back in June but we are still talking about it :) My family and I had memorable holiday and are looking forward returning to the Westin for our future visits. Thank you July 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beatiful time at the Westin Bali The hotel is located in the Nusa Dua Hotel Resort Area, next to other 5* properties. Location: Nice location, a bit far from Seminyak and Kuta area, but doesn't matter. Taxi fare is about 10 USD and it takes 30 min. Some good restaurants in the hotel, also outside. Arrival: Room was perfect prearranged. Personalized arrival service with local dancers and welcome drink. Personal greetings by name outside of the hotel upon arrival by the Guest Experience Supervisor. Upgraded to One-Bedroom Suite. Stay: Until now excellent. Daily fresh fruit basket in the room. Negative part: The Royal Beach Club has been discontinued :( Staff: Very attentive, greeting by name from door staff and others. Guest Experience Manager took care every day with business stuff and feedback about the stay. February 24, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Resort in Nusa Dua This is our 4th Fabulous visit to Nusa Dua in Bali and our 3rd stay at the Westin Resort. We stayed for 12 nights and 13 days.We have 3 teenagers who look forward to this annual trip each year now. In the past there have been 3 other familys join us with their children aswell. This year it was one other family and we all had the most amazing time again at this resort. From the moment you arrive it is like meeting your long lost family and everyone is so caring and cant do enough for you to make you feel special and welcome. We have stayed at many Resorts and this ranks number one to us.We had a newly renovated room and it was fabulous with so many places to put all your personal belongings and have a clutter free room, the new bathrooms are heavenly as are the huge Heavenly beds. Room service is impecable and at call anytime with no delays. The Hotel Manager Dario is around constantly chatting and catching up with all the guests and Staff. He manages the most wonderfull staff who are a team and it shows as the resort operates like clockwork. The beach is fabulous and the Salt Water pool huge . There is also a kids pool for the little ones. Breakfast is the favorite part of our day ,from fresh tropical fruits to traditional balinese and freshly cooked omelettes and eggs as you wait. The freshly sqeezed fruit and vegetable juices are a must and made daily, There is a large selection of bakery items sweet and savory. The salad bar is super and all keep in lovely cold fridges. Also the hot food selection is kept at correct temperature with the new induction plates ,so no Bali belly at this resort from the food. The cultural dinners are fantastic and the 3 other restaurants. It could be seen as over priced but worth every penny for the freshness and quality served.Happy hour is a must at 5pm down near the beach where the evening sunset can be watched and the balinese dancers light a flame each night. We are already planning next year back to the Westin. We wouldnt stay anywhere else on this Nusa Dua Pennisula, this is our holiday Family and cant wait to return.Thankyou to all the proud staff that make this Resort what it is. January 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent kid friendly hotel We stayed recently at this property for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. From the wonderful 'suite' upgrade, sumptuous breakfast buffets, wide range of activities for active children (ages 9 and 11) to the many restaurant choices, we were highly impressed. This was our 2nd trip there and I expect we will go back again. January 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nothing short of brilliant I was lucky enough to get upgraded to a One bedroom suite which is an amazing suite with a living area with bedroom and shower. What is more amazing is the staff's attentiveness. Imagine I'd go for breakfast and return in 45minutes only to find my room has been cleaned up and all amenities replaced. I'd go out for an hour to come back and realize they topped up my water. After having afternoon tea for a day, the next day they remembered my room number and encouraged me to try a different tea. I was spoilt silly by the crew and their attention to details. Well done Westin! April 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The staff is fantastic! Just returned from a vacation at the Westin Nusa Dua. I've been fortunate to make many trips to Bali. This was my first stay at the Westin. I have to say it may have been to most enjoyable. This is primarily due to the great staff at the hotel. I made a mistake and booked one day shorter than my intended stay. Mr. Viswanathan the Room Division Manager was very helpful and arranged for me to stay the extra night even though the hotel was full for the Easter holidays. He and the rest of the staff at the Westin Nusa Dua are the reason I keep coming back to Starwood hotels. April 5, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great service but rooms were tiny Service was fantastic at the hotel. We got personalised service throughout. The other great features about the hotel were the pool and hotel beach. The beach was just beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast in their capsicum restaurant was also fantastic. The menu was huge and service great. Here are a couple of things which I didn't like about the hotel: 1) The $280 new year's eve compulsory dinner was clearly not value-for-money. The performance was great and food was good too but the whole thing was certainly not worth a price tag of $280 per person (especially, when drinks during dinner were not included). 2) As a SPG platinum member, I didn't get any of the benefits that I've come to expect from every stay now. We didn't get a suite upgrade till the last day despite having requested for a suite night upgrade. The upgrade we got on the last day was also too late to move in. Normally, I wouldn't complain about this. But, the room was also very tiny and not adequate for 2 people. In exchange for not upgrading us, the hotel offered a free massage. But, unfortunately, that massage by the beach, was not great (mosquitoes, by the beach!). There was no club lounge in the hotel, either to relax in privacy when you don't want to be in your room or on the beach. The gym was okay but lacked quite a few equipment. I must remark, in closing, that the hotel management did try a lot to satisfy us but the two points above were not helping. January 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Royal Treatment, Palatial Hotel OVERALL IMPRESSION: The phrase “heaven on earth’” comes immediately to mind. SPG RECOGNITION: Over the top. Upon arrival, an entire brigade of front office people all lined up together with Balinese dancers and gamelin players had us looking around for the visiting head-of-state. Private in-room check-in. Upgrade to a Westin Suite. In-room amenity: the most beautiful arrangement of tropical - unrecognizable but delicious - fruit. Invitation to complimentary afternoon tea each day (they questioned us and seemed genuinely disappointed when we didn’t go the second day). Choice of one additional amenity - we chose a day usage of a private beach bungalow which was divine. Platinum Breakfast amenity is the lavish buffet in the Capsicum Cafe. THE ROOM: Beautifully Balinese in style but with all the classic Westin benchmarks. Featured two baths, separate living room with wet bar and dining area. Two balconies which, although not advertised as such, offered beautiful (lateral) ocean views. LOCATION: With-in the self-contained gated community of upscale resorts know as Nusa Dua. This is not a disadvantage as the “real” Bali outside has virtually disappeared under a layer of asphalt, exhaust fumes and tourist tat. EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS: If their smiles weren’t so genuine and their interest in your well-being so sincere, the level and quality of service is almost embarrassing for Westerners. At check-in, the receptionist took our pictures and by the time we came down to the pool 20 minutes later, EVERY member of staff seemingly knew our names! Virtually every member of management made an effort to meet and personally greet us. April 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great conference or kid-friendly resort in Bali This is probably the nicest large convention center in Bali (for up to 2500 people), and frequently hosts large meetings and events (including Miss World and part of APEC). If you've got an event for Bali, a great choice. When it's not full of conventioneers, the Westin seems to mostly be a family resort. Every restaurant has kid-friendly seating areas, plenty of activities for children, and nice beaches and other areas. Nusa Dua is a bit farther away from everything else in Bali (nightlife, cultural sites), so this wouldn't be a good choice if you want to do things outside the hotel every day, but if you want to have a week long relaxing vacation with a couple of days of things outside the hotel, you can inexpensively hire a car and driver to see many things. There are lots of activities within the resort, including multiple excellent specialty restaurants (although F&B at the hotel do tend to be expensive compared to elsewhere in Bali). Probably not a top choice for young or single people or people who want to party hard on holidays -- it's a lot more a family resort and middle aged/older people, mainly from the US, vs. a younger crowd from Australia and Europe at some other properties. The Westin staff are incredible (although this is true of basically all Starwood properties in Asia that I've ever visited), and the facilities are modern and well maintained. There is plenty of security so you and your family (or convention attendees) will be safe, although Bali is a pretty safe place in general. They also do an excellent job of taking care of SPG elite members. All in all for convention events and families, this is a top choice in Bali. October 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by South East Asia Production Coordinator Great location, very very beautiful resort, nice staffs and great services November 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Felt like going to a market place We were upgraded to an excutive suite on the third floor facing the convention hall. Although we appreciate the upgrade, we did not appreciate the location of the suite given. Our assigned suite was so close to the convention hall and having to walk by the reception area "given" to convention operators, we felt like we were at a local market (not a good feeling). The reception area to the right when you walk in from the driveway is much nicer. Got a family and resort feel. When we returned from dinner around 10PM, we noticed staff from the convention loitering in the lobby area. And some were even smoking. No security personnel were present. The following morning, there were plenty of people hanging out near our door. I told the management about that, but was reassured that security is around and our safety is ensured. Still does not give me much comfort. Breakfast is POOR. Few choices, and not very tasty. We will not return to this property. Too many good ones around to settle for this place. Pool is too deep and not organized. Only one place to pick up and return pool towels. December 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice resort (keeping a high standard in spite of its size) Generally big hotels, like the Westin Bali, tend to be impersonal, but at our arrival we were welcomed with extreme courtesy and friendliness.. We were upgraded to arguably the best room in the resort, at the top of the south wing overlooking the beach - enough a good reason to make it a memorable stay. Additionally all the hotel facilities, pool, restaurants etc are first class. Only one note: this is a huge hotel, so bear this in mind when you book. The beach itself is nice but too small for the size of the resort, which means that you may be competing for a limited number of gazebos and 'dream beds' (for which you pay an extra). August 25, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor housekeeping Although we stayed in a suite, the room was not properly maintained. All of the drawers have stale smell. Pillows had damp smell. Tidying up the room seems to be a challenge for housekeeping. Coffee center was not cleaned. Even mugs were left unwashed. Complimentary drinking waters were left on the dining table. No umbrella in the room. Breakfast scene was a chaos with hundreds of children. Ikan restaurant had far too many flies to enjoy the food. It is a shame. July 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Family Friendly Hotel at Last! Westin Nusa Dua has a lot of programmes and facilities to make your vacation enjoyable for both parents and kids. It has private beach, kid's club with different daily programmes, nice bath room, swimming pool, friendly service staff, dinner events with local cultural performances, and free transport to nearby amenities. What more can you ask for? Strongly recommended for families with young kids. I'll definitely choose Westin for my next trip to Nusa Dua Bali December 22, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm greetings First entering this hotel two dancers were welcoming me and gave me a flower. I felt overwhelming with such a great warm welcome gesture from all the staffs at front desk. And....I got a nice surprise of a birthday cake once they knew it was my birthday! I couldn't forget the warm greetings of westin nusa dua. Nice hotel, nice room, nice beach...always want to stay here again on my next vacation. Thanks Westin, thanks SPG for a great experience, as always. December 22, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by It can't get much better This was my second time staying at this hotel. The pools, gardens, and rooms are immaculate. The long stretch of beach shared with a few high-end hotels is well maintained, and relatively peaceful without overly pushy hawkers or crowds of people. Perfect hotel for relaxation. Food/drinks are expensive, but on par with similar resorts. December 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by The hotel has gratest care of families I was very happy becuse the hotel has good facilities for children. All the staff members in kids club are well trained and love children. Every day the hotel has prepared a new activity for kids. The hotel has a beutiful small pool for children. I recommend the Westin Nusa Dua Hotel for all families. May 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Family Fun Excellent Hotel We stayed three nights at the end of July 2014, premium room, located at the new wing of the hotel buildings. The first time we stepped into the hotel room, we soon felt relaxed. The room was newly refurbished, spacious in the bed area and also in the bathroom area. The bed was very comfortable. We were more impressed by the location of the hotel which was just opposite the white sand clean beach. The pictures the hotel represents in the website were just exactly the same as the fact we experienced. We had very great time during our stay here and would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends. August 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very welcoming luxury hotel my wife, baby and I stayed in this hotel in March 2012 and we absolutely loved it. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite and management was very considerate. very child friendly hotel. We loved this hotel so much that we are going back shortly. Best regards, Michel September 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent staff and service On arrival I was greeted with a welcome drink and had the assistance of Ayu(front desk). I had an injury on my vacation in Bali. I was given a get well soon cake by the hotel. I called service express about 3x a day to receive ice to nurse my swollen knee. I received very good service. As a platinum member I am entitled to tea and the Kites bar every afternoon. The staff at the bar got to know me and they know which kind of tea I liked and I didn’t even have to ask. The staff are very friendly at the Kites bar. Also, as a platinum member I was given a fruit basket which contained local fruits on arrival. Also every day I was given chocolates in my room. Housekeeping comes 2x a day. The breakfast buffet is on the main floor. There are 2 areas to have breakfast. There is fruit, an omelet station, fresh bread, juice bar, yogurts, Danish pastries and many warm dishes. This hotel is geared towards family. I did travel as a solo so I found it to be a bit noisy. Overall – a wonderful stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly. January 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The staff were outstanding We stay at this property because it was recommended by friends. What a great recommendation, the staff in this Hotel are the best we have encounted in our travels. Nothing was too much trouble, all our needs were met and exceeded. We will be back December 19, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Would stay here again The quality of care was very disappointing. Starting with : Having to get up at 0730 on holidays to reserve a bed by the pool is nothing short of ridiculous. Running out of lettuce for a salad at 3pm for pool side orders . Not starting poolside orders until 11am so if you didn't want a big buffet breakfast nothing could be ordered until that time. The refridgerator in the room didn't work The kettle was broken The shower water went from hot to cold every 5 seconds And then when we went to speak to someone when we checked out we were mid conversation passed onto "someone else" unacceptable. August 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Family Holiday We stayed at the Westin for 10 nights and had the best family holiday EVER! The staff and facilities were excellent and we were made to feel special for the entire stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. December 17, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rest & Relax From arrival to departure, my family and I were given 6 star services by Westin's staff. We were given a newly refurbished room at the SPG wings that overlooked the pool. The bed and the pillows were definitely heavenly. Kids enjoyed their time at the Kid's club daily and we parents can take time off for Spa knowing they were in good hands. We purchased the SPG Kids Pass so the kids can dine for free with us. We would like to thank Ms. Satyrani for replacing the goggle that my son lost at the pool. And the invitation to the Hi Tea at the Kites Lounge. Really appreciate that. F & B in the hotel aren't cheap. We only do breakfast and lunches in the hotel while we walked out to the restaurants outside the hotel or took a free shuttle to Bali Collection for dinner. However, we felt cheated by the Westin Spa for the Lucky dip that we were asked to pick while we were having breakfast. Upon check out, we realized that we were charged IDR20,000 for the lucky pick for a 10% discount voucher valid for any treatment at the Westin Spa. We chose hair braiding for our daughter but the 10% discount were not given until we made a dispute on the bill at check out. December 5, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I will definitely go back I first heard of Westin Nusa Dua from my bestfriends when they went to Bali last year. Last June I went to Bali to celebrate my birthday with two of my girlfriends (one of them was one of my bestfriends who visited Westin last year!). I gotta say, it was so good trusting your friends. I fell in love with Bali, I fell in love with Westin. The hotel has a peaceful, serene feel to it. I felt safe, the staff were nice and accommodating and you can actually feel their sincerity towards attending to your needs. We got a deluxe garden view room, and I must say I really had good sleep for the 3 nights I was there. The food is great, too! I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends! :) July 3, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staying Experience in Westin Bali Overall, it was excellent stay at Westin Nusa Dua Bali. Things are good: 1. Excellent and clean Room 2. Wide varieties of breakfast menu. 3. Excellent work out equipments. 4. Two new tennis courts. Things require improvement: 1. Upon check-in at counter, not all guests getting welcome drink. 2. Hospitality Desk communication. Booked tennis court and hitting partner with fee Rp 210K. Getting onto the court the next day, the guy (standby on court)told me that I just confirmed for booking court only. Finally the same guy was willing to be tennis hitting partner and charged me for Rp 300K. He told me that Rp 210K was old price list. 3. Hotel should have Sauna and Steam facility complementing Westin Workout. December 26, 2012
