The Executive Club of the Westin Xiamen Hotel is the best place I have been. The staff are the best, they know the guests habits well, treat each guests as same. Their smile can melt my tiredness of the job and business. I will definitely recommend Xiamen Westin to my friends and colleague!!!

I went to check out and found a long queue was waiting in the front desk. I did not want to stand in the queue and went upstairs to 40 floor for sight seeing first cause I heard that the view there was execellent, the lady Ms.Lv in executive club warmly greeted me and initiatively introduced the beautiful spots through telescope for me, when she knew that I was waiting for checking out, invited me to check out there directly, eventhough I am not executive floor guest.Impressed by her smile,Nice staff,Great lounge.

Since I'm traveling to this hotel more or less regularly, I think to be able to judge the service quality during the last years.
It is excellent! They started with the pretty high level of all the services and are able to maintain it until now. Definitely worth to recommend.

Having stayed at many other hotels in Xiamen I have decided that the Westin offers the best sleep! The Heavenly bed is he most comfortable i have ever tried. I have stayed at this hotel for nearly two years and have no intetion of changing.

Stepping off the Taxi, a porter assisted with luggage and guided me to the check-in desk. They had upgraded me to a Premier Room 1912. Interesting room number as that was the year China became a Republic and also the end of over 2000 years of Imperial rule. Also reminds me of the bar district in Nanjing (named 1912). :)
The room design was pretty interesting. You'll be greeted by the bathroom near the entrance followed by a walk-in closet and then the bedroom area. Room size was adequate unfortunately there's no lounge chair/sofa to laze around. Views were over the city which were okay. The iPod dock positioned near the bed was able to handle my old 80GB 5th generation iPod (2005), much to my delight!
As I wasn't in the hotel except to sleep, didn't get to explore or use the other facilities. Internet and breakfast were okay, nothing to shout about though. When I got back late at night, there were boxes of fruits waiting for me at the desk so that was a nice touch. For those wondering about the service level from the Frontdesk, I did get the wakeup call I ordered the night before. Location was neither good nor bad, it was situated around the middle left of Xiamen island.

The Westin in Xiamen does not equal the standards I expect from a Westin. There was no one at the check-in desk to receive an SPG member. I had to request standard SPG Gold services. The room layout was not practical and looked worn. The western style restaurant was fully booked for lunch and dinner and could not serve us. The SPA team spoke very limited English and charge a rate higher than what was posted in the room.

Service is the best here. I think this hotel does everything in a really nice way and they have good young talented staff. The property is really maintained and classy. I feel everything is at the right place wherever I go in this hotel. The staff is perfect in every area- be it Restaurants, Front Desk, Gym or anywhere. One interesting thing about them which brings me here every time is - the change they bring in really small things. Now this change in small things would not affect you in any sense and still will make your stay not boring since I stay here for 20 days every month, so these small new things/ideas they come up with make my stay interesting. I feel Westin Xiamen is working constantly everyday to be better than the best. I really thank everyone working at Westin to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

We booked 4 nights at executive floor and the reception upgraded our rooms to suites. We are quite satisfied with the rooms and all the services provided. The Restaurant Zen5es was great - we went to this restaurant 3 times for dinner, their porridge were fabulous.

I would like to share my wonderful experience to my ambassador Emily and hotel management to express my compliment to all staffs of The Westin Xiamen Executive Club(WEC).
Angela Lv always knew guest’s preference and her iconic smile left us a deep impression. It is worth mentioning that Anna Yang gave me a surprise when I checked in yesterday. She gave me a cup of iced latte and made my day since I just told her my hobby a couple weeks ago but she kept in mind. A further small detail is that iced latte with brown sugar water instead of syrup(out of stock). So smart a girl! I also need to thanks Yolana Wang even though she resigned several days ago. The lounge manager Jacky Wang and his teams bring us high standards and personalized service that you maybe never experienced.
By the way, I want to have a bit comment for a lobby front desk staff. As far as I know, WEC staffs are professionally elite team with at least one foreign language skill and serve guests who have the executive benefit. We do not expect every staffs are as good enough as their WEC colleagues. But it is some terrible that he do not have full knowledge about spg membership system and remove my spg information after I checked in. We appreciate GSM Gino Huang solve this small issue in a short time. As a regular guest of The Westin Xiamen, I may share my special experience and some feedback with hotel guest experience team and hotel management.
Thanks again for WEC staffs, See you next time in lounge. I also will recommend Westin Xiamen hotels to my friends without any reservation and hesitation. Hope your hotels will be more prosperous in the future.

Since my first experience with Westin Xiamen, I have decided to stay here whenever I am in town. The facility is very nice and well maintained; the services here are second to none.
The stools dedicated to the SPG member at the check-in counter make you feel special.
The Rooms are spacious. The restaurants serve authentic food at reasonable prices.
What I like the most here is the well-equipped gym and the indoor pool with the clearest and cleanest water.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone with no hesitance at all.

a frequent traveller like me appreciate the friendship and attention given by the customer service manager. however, this high level of good service is only limited to the individual manager. the rest of the hotel staffs are inconsistent in service level.

At the time of check in I asked the front desk staff on how many breakfast is included and she said 1. I repeated my question and she gave the same answer 1. At the time of check out I asked the staff checking me out on how many breakfast is included and she said 2, I said why did the staff at check in said 1. After giving so many excuses, she then said if I showed 2 passports at check in then I can have 2 breakfast. She thought all the guests are stupid.

My stay was for 2 weeks.
Positives are staff (namely-Rebecca front desk,Julian (Qba),Jaoe (f desk) Ricky (hotel pickup) Sue (Qba).all refer to me by name and v helpful n friendly.
Hotel generally superb facilities - I would recommend hotel on the above list.
Negatives.Food.Qba signature steak very poor-would not order again nor recommend eating there (service very good)..
Breakfast ok but layout confusing with toast/bread very long way/time from main buffet-strange! good juice selection.Again-good staff.
Very difficult to get taxi-other hotels have huge advantage over this issue and could influence my future plans.
