Rated 5 out of 5 Regular guest at this hotel - for a reason I use this hotel for business travel and I stay here repeatedly for several reasons - the staff, the accommodations and the amenities are what you would expect at a Westin. October 20, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable - New - Great stay As a Platinum member, I used some of my room upgrades to upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite. Wow, the room was amazing and so large. I was in heaven for the entire weekend. I like that the hotel is on the smaller side (not a mega-hotel) but is completely new and well maintained. I liked that it didn’t have a huge lobby crawling with people. The internet worked well and I also had access to the Club room which was very nice. The pool area is small but very enjoyable. The sun hits the pool area from about noon onward, unlike their sister property down the street. I stopped by there and the pool was overcast after 12noon. Cell reception in the hotel isn’t that great but every floor had signs posted that workers are upgrading their internal systems mon-fri 9-5 while I was there and I did see them working. Good to know that will be an improvement we will experience soon! The only downside is there is generally only ONE person at the front desk. When I stopped down and had a question at peak check in time I had to wait behind 5 people checking in with 1 person at the desk. Later I needed change for the valet at 6pm and had to wait in line for another 15 mins because there was only one person working the front desk. That was extremely annoying. Upon check out once again there was a delay. My recommendation is that if you are checking in or checking out or have any question for the front desk – plan a 15 min wait time regardless. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Customer Service This was one of the better experiences I have had recently. Upon arrival, the staff recognized my platinum status and upgraded me to a huge corner suite. As usual it was excellent and quite clean. I had coughed at the check-in and was immediately asked if I was feeling sick. When I said yes, the attendant said they would send someone up immediately with a variety of cold medication choices to help me get a good nights rest. Not more than 5 minutes after unpacking my bags, the Nyquil and Tylenol PM arrived. There's nothing worse than traveling for work and feeling like garbage. The staff treated me like I was a member of the family and took care of me. I couldn't have been happier. December 5, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Anniversary Celebration I hadn't been to downtown Phx for about 10 years. Last time I was there the local shopping area was Copper Square (now Arizona Center). I chose the Westin because I wanted some place nice with a view for an overnight anniversary stay. We were greeted warmly and the concierge upgraded our room when she heard it was our anniversary. We spent a lot of time in our lovely room looking out the window at the city lights. The staff were personable and one member of the staff got to know us well enough to recommend a place we would enjoy for breakfast within walking distance (Phx Public Market - funky, fun and good food.) Lovely room and bathroom, great views, terrific staff. When I return to Phx, this is where i'll stay. January 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful New Property I must confess that I know nothing of the area surrounding this hotel, but the property itself is excellent. The staff are friendly, courteous and efficient and the rooms are great, With the corner suites really enabling me to relax after a long day of work on the road this has fast become my first pick of properties in the Phoenix Metro. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel - but a few minor issues Stayed platinum got upgraded to an awesome corner suite. Great staff. Food at restaurant is only average, pool on roof is nice but its not much bigger than a bathtub! Bar service slow but overall a great hotel. Phoenix itself is very dull though so plan on driving to Scotsdale or Tempe for something to do and nightlife, etc... November 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay at the Westin Phoenix We had a group of about 20 of us that booked into the hotel for 4-5 nights and the staff were amazing! Everyone was helpful and accommodating. We used one of the meeting rooms as a prep area for some client meetings we were having and had no problems when we ran late or had to make changes. Our whole team was "wowed" by the experience. Several nights we ate at the restaurant while working and the staff there were friendly too. The Pork Chop was a recommendation well placed! Nice! Thanks Westin! September 10, 2014
