Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Downtown Phoenix Stay The Westin is a great hotel to stay in downtown Phoenix. Right on the Metro train line and walking distance to many restaurants and venues, it is perfect for experiencing the city. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Very helpful staff. Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the best Westins This is one of the better Westin facilities. The rooms are very spacious, with high ceilings and a clean beautiful design. The location is relatively convenient in downtown Phoenix. I've never had to wait to check in. It always seems to have a calm vibe. The club lounge is pretty good as well. July 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent room, sleep and staff I thoroughly enjoyed my 6 night stay at the Westin Phoenix Downtown in April 2016. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The restaurant had a wide variety of choices on the menu and the waiter staff was excellent, especially Christina. My wife and I ate breakfast there each morning and were more than pleased. The beds were very comfortable. We awoke each day refreshed and ready for the day ahead. The Westin provided us each day with a newspaper and complementary bottled water, which in Phoenix is a big perk. All together we can't say enough good things about the Westin Phoenix. Make a reservation there without worry and you'll be very pleased. May 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by A wonderful stay as usual ! We stayed at the Westin PHX Downtown last year and we had a such a wonderful stay that we made sure we could stay here this year ! The room was comfortable,clean and relaxing. The room was well appointed in every way and in the typical Westin fashion, always welcoming ! The staff was wonderful and responsive (thank you Brenden for the bottle of sparkling wine as anniversary gift) The Westin always our home away from home, and we are counting down the days till our next stay ! Rated 3 out of 5 by Room Service Improvements The hotel and room are stunning. However room was not 100% clean on arrival, bed covers had a bad smell, and room service was awful. On arrival the first thing we noticed when I open the door were a couple of open bag of chips sitting on the counter next to the coffee. The last person in the room before us checking forgot their snacks. My wife fell in love with the hotel, the room, the beautiful city view, and the smell of the entire hotel as we walked in. When she laid on the bed she also noticed the strong musty smell from the bed covers. She sprayed a little of her perfume on the sheets but didn’t help much. We didn’t use the pillows and only used one sheet. On arrival we decided to open a bottle of wine that was given to us for our anniversary. We didn’t have a wine bottle opener and walked down to the lobby to request for one around 9:00 PM. The gentleman at the front desk said he was going to send one to our room. It only took me a couple of minutes to go downstairs. We waited 30 minutes and the bottle opener never arrived. I called room service and spoke to Sandra about the issues I was having getting a wine opener and she said she will send one right away. We waited another 15 minutes and wine opener never arrived. I called back and requested to speak to a manager. I was on hold for another 5 minutes before Craig answered the phone. I offered to go down stairs and pick one up. He said there was someone on the way and about a minute later the bottle opener finally arrived. It took over 45 minutes for us to get a simple wine opener. We didn’t really enjoy the wine because we were irritated and very disappointed with room service. The hotel and room are beautiful but unfortunately we won’t be staying there anytime soon. Rated 5 out of 5 by Such a nice stay I stayed here the night before my wedding, the following day my bridal party was going to come and get ready in my room. I told the front desk this and they gave me a complimentery upgrade. Our room was amazing! The front desk was great help and so accommodating. Such a great stay! April 13, 2016
