Overall good experience , hotel was clean, good location, excellent local amenities and food/beverage and service in the hotel was good.

I arrived late at night and I was given a room with a king bed when I specifically reserved 2 beds. I also requested exercise gear and no one bothered to offer it or tell me where the gym was. My suitcases were left behind in Atlanta so I informed everyone at the hotel that I was expecting them to be delivered. The next day I changed rooms and wanted to registered a family member as a guest and I was told the policy stated I was to pay for a second person in the room. I have never been in a hotel that request a fee for a second guest. The problem with customer service in Panama is that they want to fight everything and find fault in the customer. One positive aspect is that Thursday night (Nov 19th) one of the staff members at the desk called me that my suitcases were there and immediately brought them to me.
it is the little things like these that counts!! make your customer feel like they belong and they are welcomed there, make them feel like their money is not wasted!

The hotel is very comfortable and with a good location (walking distance) to nearby offices.
There are sevaral places to eat nearby and room service was very expeditent as well.
The room is a little dark to work but not bad.
The room overall is comfortable and in good shape. Nothing looks worn or run down.
The fitness center is well equiped and ample.
The breakfast buffet has good variety and offer a good omelette and juice selection.

It gets dark in Panama about 6pm all year long. For some reason this hotel decided it should be dark in the bedroom. This is unacceptable for me. I had to use a flashlight on my cell phone to see my clothes in the closet. I just don't understand why the planners thought light was not necessary in the room after dark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Judefree My extended stay at the Westin Costa del Este was phenomenal.
The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and most of all clean. The hotel staff was extremely responsive and accomodating. While I was there for business and working odd hours at times, I appreciated that the gym was open 24 hours and offers great equipment. The pool area is very nice too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.
