Rated 5 out of 5 by You need to stay here ! Stayed at the Westin Blue Bay Resort & Spa for 6 days on holiday. I’m a frequent business traveler spending almost 1/3 of the year on the road mostly throughout North America & Europe. With this in mind, I can honestly say that I have never stayed at a better Westin hotel. Everything about our stay was amazing. The hotel is brand new, the size of the property is enormous! The pool is one of the largest I have ever seen : there is even a waterslide connecting the upper pool to the lower part. Everything was fantastic, this of course includes the rooms, the restaurants, the lobby bar, the fitness centre, and the overall decor/design of the facilities. A special mention regarding the new spa facilities : the spa is breathtaking and the experience we enjoyed here was second to none. The location of the hotel is ideal, situated on a long sandy beach. Shuttle busses are available to town or to the nearby attractions such as the floating fishing village and to ‘Monkey Island’ (both are 5 minutes away). These are highly recommended and worthwhile experiences with local flavour. …But what makes a hotel truly GREAT are the people. The staff is absolutely amazing. Most of them simply went ‘beyond the call of duty’ to transform a great stay to something truly extraordinary. The General Manager and his Team have done a tremendous job and it shows in every aspect of the resort. Rated 5 out of 5 by A must stay in China!!! The Design of this hotel was amazing. From the building itself, which seemed to be designed to allow breezes to flow through the structure, to the way the resort itself seemed to blend into the unique environment. The hotel itself seemed to be a sleeker more modern version of the Westin. The hotel , combined with the exceptional service I received from the General manger and his team, made for an exceptional stay! This is a new property and is still in the final stages of completion and based on my experience the GM and his team should prepare them selves for loads of success!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded my expectations Visited the Westin Blue Bay resort just after the Chinese National Holiday week and had a fantastic experience. I was greeted by name at check. Sincere thanks to the front desk staff (Sarah i think) who checked me in, really appreciated her friendly and professional attitude. She even waited for me outside the restaurant after dinner as I had forgotten to provide her with a document during check in. Rooms: The design of the room is very modern and sleek. The best features has to be the huge washroom, which is separated by sliding doors with both a soaker tub and rain forest shower, and the large balcony which had a large lounge sofa which I ended up falling asleep in as the weather was just right and the ocean breeze kept you cool. Quality of Sleep: The beds were very comfortable as one would expect at a Westin and I had no trouble falling asleep. I woke up quite early during my stay. With the construction that is going on (I was told the spa and villas are still under construction until November), it may be difficult to sleep in. Facilities: While a few of the facilities are still under construction. I really enjoyed the pool and the beach front which was very quiet during my stay. On multiple occasions I was the only one in a very large pool. The beach felt like a natural beach with plenty of sea shells and I even managed to find a hermit crab. Food & Beverage: I had the opportunity to try out every restaurant/bar at the hotel, I even went up to the not yet opened MIX bar. I found the food at international restaurant Seasonal Tastes the best, plus the prices were reasonable for a resort hotel. The restaurant even gave me extra ice cream for dessert. All in all, I was very happy with the food and service at the hotel restaurants. The only real disappointment I had was the cocktails at the lobby bar. I tried a margarita which was not on the menu and for good reason (tastes a bit like sea water) and a blueberry mojito which actually tasted quite nice (and very sweet) but did not have nearly enough rum. I ended up chasing it down with a couple of beers, of which there is a good selection of international brands. Service: This is probably the part that impressed me most about the Westin Blue Bay Resort. All the staff were friendly and would really try to make you feel like a valued guest, it seemed like everyone knew me by name. Keep in mind that not all the staff spoke English, so they might have to ask someone else to help you, regardless of that, any requests that I had was quickly fulfilled. The front desk manager Ms. Li came to ask about my stay and to send me off when I was checking out which I thought was a nice personal touch. Finally, we had requested a shuttle to take us to the Sanya International Airport, but since we were the only clients leaving at that time, the hotel provided us with a private driver and vehicle to transport us to the airport instead. This was just one more example of the service that made my stay at the resort a thoroughly enjoyable one from start to finish. I will definitely be back at the resort, hopefully my travels brings me back sooner rather than later. October 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 硬件非常好,景观震撼,服务还需加强 酒店硬件非常一流,设施都很棒。建筑设计低调现代,房间的高尔夫湖景+海景真的非常震撼,可以说是海南最棒的海景。硬件满意的同时,服务有所欠缺,可能是因为酒店太大了或者员工数量不足。例如1:吃了三天的早餐,除了入口处的询问房间号码之外,没有和服务员有任何沟通,没有人来询问是否要咖啡,也没有人领座位,如果咖啡需要自己倒,我觉得需要明示,因为这个习惯和其他酒店都不一样。早餐的质量在三亚至少10名以外。例如2:其中一天服务员按门铃打扫房间,我说需要一会再来,服务员询问我需要几点,我说下午2点。结果等我3点半回来没有打扫,打电话去告知需要打扫房间。服务生是下午4点半来的,我说我们不是约好的时间?服务员回答,我们也很忙。我觉得这个回答很有问题,不尊重契约精神。我在国外的酒店遇到类似情况,服务生是把房间号和时间记下来的,也从来没有过违约。所以,酒店的服务还有进步空间 November 7, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by 酒店新淨,但仍有不足處要改善 酒店寛倘舒適, 但有些以下不足之處。。 1。電視機壞,開不到,需要找人維修,但員工整不到需要整部更換。。 2。浴室去水有問題,早上沖完涼出來時整個浴室外面浸水,連帶弄濕了我的行李箱。。 3。房間執拾日日都不執不清潔陽台外面。。 4。 Check out時還到不快經歷,理不應發生在westin酒店內,但guest relation manager迅速為我們解決問題。。 5。 酒店沒有桑拿蒸氣設施, 又沒有便利店廣售賣紀念品商店,不好。。 6。搭酒店車去duty free店,但回程不知在那兒等車,指示牌都沒有一個。。 酒店整潔寧靜 ,但以上問題令我懷疑下次會否再入住此酒店。。 June 30, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by 酒店服务人员素质有待提高 酒店优点: 1、酒店硬件设施和整体环境都非常好. 2、酒店客房设施也很新,有品质感. 3、房间宽敞\景观一流. 让人很不满意的: 1、前台服务人员综合素质和水准不敢恭维,酒店在我入住前半个小时就电话沟通过,到前台办入住手续,不仅速度慢(没有其他客人),而且态度差,没有一句礼貌话,把客人放一边,自己打电话去核实房价是否合理.在其他任何SPG的酒店都没有这样的前台服务。1个月前就订好的房间,信用卡预授权,半个小时前你们确认入住,结果到前台吃闭门羹。 2、退房时,效率也很低,酒店不知道是不是没有培训,或者实习生较多,根本不知道退房,还要打电话找同事帮忙。 3、酒店位置相对较偏,下高速,需要走20-30分钟的国道,而且在高德导航上有2个酒店地址,相差10公里。酒店如果注重客户体验的话,应该联系地图方更正。 总结起来,这是我入住的服务最差的酒店。 也许你们是试营业,培训不到位,人员素质不高,但是客人不是去试住,是去度假,但是一路走来,最坏的体验在你们这。 June 28, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by 非常好的一家6星级酒店 我是通过SPG积分换得的2晚3间海景房。大年初一的紧俏日子,现金买已经是4500人民币一晚上了,但是用积分兑换还是1万分。酒店唯一的不好之处在于地址不详,从海口开车过来不方便,一路都在看路牌找路线。不过到了酒店就感觉棒极了!整个沙滩都是自己的,180度的全景阳台,超棒!就是早餐有点贵,228一位,可能会员还能打85折。酒店周边10公里基本没有吃的,所以要不就在酒店解决,要不就要租辆车开车去三亚吃。酒店装修很新,但是无任何不舒适的气味。停车场在地下一层,面积大,也很干净。酒店靠金沙滩的延伸部分有很多娱乐设施,如温泉、滑道、秋千、游泳池等等。酒店自带一个高尔夫球场,球友们也可以考虑。 May 4, 2015
