 WHICH CAREER PATH?Style & Laundry (Housekeeping & Laundry)The first impression starts here. This role is all about creating and maintaining the look of the hotel. This position is a great place to begin a career with W. Many of W's Directors of Style started their careers as Room Stylists. In this role, you have exposure to various departments in the hotels from the Welcome Office to the Guest Room and everywhere in between. The look of the entire hotel and much of a guest's overall impression of the hotel is related to Style. As a Style Manager you will learn to coach Talent and inspire them to succeed and grow in their roles. You will also learn about many other departments in the hotel as you interact daily with departments such as the Welcome Office, Human Resources, Food and Beverage (including outlets and banquets), Engineering and Laundry. This training and exposure to all aspects of the hotel will help you be a successful manager, not just in Style, but in other areas that require people management and administrative organizational skills. A leader in this role is highly organized, motivated and inspired to motivate others, a team player, analytical in their thinking, detail oriented, and thrives on innovation. Got Style?
