What is an RFP?

RFP stands for "request for proposal." Our easy-to-use online process lets you specify your event and meeting requirements, then find hotels that match your needs and submit your request directly to them.

Top

How many steps are involved in the RFP process?

There are just three simple steps:

1.Provide your requirements (including contact info, dates, attendee numbers, and other event needs)

2.Select hotels from the list of recommended ones presented

3.Review and submit your RFP to all selected hotels You'll get an immediate on-screen confirmation that your RFP has been submitted, and within one business day, sales associates at the individual hotels (or a global sales associate) will contact you directly with responses to your request.

What if I don't have answers to all the questions in the RFP? Can I still submit it and get proposals back?

Certainly. However, the more questions you can answer, the more suited the list of matching hotels generated will be to your needs-and the more precise the hotels' proposals will be. So try to provide as much information as you can.

Top

Will I be able to see specific information about the hotels before I have to submit my request?

Yes-your list of matching hotels will include links to detailed hotel descriptions and numerous facility images in a slideshow format to help you decide which ones to select.

What if I'm planning a social event, like a wedding or a reunion?

For a wedding, please visit our Wow Vows page, where you'll find information on W weddings as well as our special online wedding inquiry form.

For other social events, you can use our standard online RFP process. Just provide all required information and enter the word "reunion" or other appropriate term with your event name. In the "Meeting/Event Information" section, select "Social Event" as the event type. Include any special instructions or requirements in the "Comments" space and submit your RFP to your selected hotels. Sales associates at the individual hotels (or a global sales associate) will contact you directly with responses to your request.

Can I use the RFP to reserve a block of guest rooms (for overnight guests) even if I'm not hosting my event at the hotel?

Yes. On the first page of the RFP process, make sure to fill out the section entitled "Sleeping Room Needs." Then simply select "No" for any questions about meeting/event room needs. After you select hotels, you'll be able to enter more details about your guest room needs (room types, numbers, etc.). Submit your RFP to your selected hotels, and sales associates at the individual hotels (or a global sales associate) will contact you directly with responses to your request.
