Who's gonna drive you home tonight? Whether you're living life in the fast lane or taking a slow ride, Hollywood is paradise by the dashboard lights. Pink Cadillacs, fast cars, Mustang Sallys, little red Corvettes, Greased Lightning. All part of the L.A. lore and the best way to explore. From freeways to boulevards, part of the fun is picking one of the main drags—Sunset, Santa Monica, Wilshire, Olympic, Pico or Venice—and cruisin' topless from turf to surf. Everything you've heard about the traffic is true—always allow more time for navigating jams and parking, especially during weekday rush hours. If you're flying in from out of town, renting a car is your best option if you need to drive as distances are long and taxi fares high—cabs also typically do not pull over when flagged outside of downtown.

Prefer to save the trouble and environment? Ride the train to fame without pileups and pollution in your path with the Metro Red Line Station located under the hotel. Look up at the stunning ceiling covered with more than 19,000 recycled film reels and bus seat fabric designed by renowed artist Pae White, then race under the Santa Monica mountains at 70mph with nothing in your way to most downtown destinations in less than 12 minutes. With a transfer or two, you're easily on track to midtown, Universal City, Long Beach, Pasadena and the San Fernando Valley.

At our world-famous Hollywood and Vine location, you're in the middle of all the star-gazing action. There's a reason the Walk of Fame begins just outside our doorstep—by foot, all major attractions are just minutes away, not counting all the time you're stopping for pictures.

We recommend that all guests fly into the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Bob Hope Airport (BUR) or Ontario Airport (ONT) and travel to the hotel by private car service, taxi or airport shuttle. There are several airport shuttle companies that will take you door-to-door from the airports to the hotel; you can easily make your reservations at counters close to the airport exits. There are also Amtrak and Greyhound stations for guests who prefer to stay grounded.

If you are traveling by car, please see driving directions, from the airport or any other location.
