Outdoors, an expansive terrace houses plush patio furnishings and similarly stunning vistas that complement the simultaneously comforting and cutting-edge menu, which includes freshly baked treats; the catch of the day, interpreted locally and internationally; favorites ranging from Thai curries to gourmet pizza and paninis; and perfect beverage pairing—from wine to coffee and more.
Start with a cream of sweet corn, basil, crabmeat and white truffle oil—or spice poached pears with rocket leaves, candied walnuts and double brie. Then travel to a chicken-and-preserved-lemon hot pot with creamed parsnip, or try the pizza topped with king prawns, cognac and cayenne pepper butter. Local samplings include twice-cooked pig's cheeks with chili, hot basil and pork crackling along with seared white scallops in salted egg sauce with coriander. Finish with a saffron and pistachio steamed pudding with sour cream foam, homemade ice cream or a discerning selection of cheese.
