Food and Beverage Outlet Closures: December 31, 2014
On December 31, 2014, all food and beverage venues will be closed in the evening due to a private New Year's Eve event. Living Room and Rooftop will be available until 7:30pm and Kelvin will be available until 6pm. In-room dining will remain available for the entire evening. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid identification.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.
Early Departure Policy
There is a $75 fee for checking out prior to the check-out date confirmed at check-in.
Extra Bedding Policy
Children 12 years old and under sleep free in existing bedding. Due to local fire regulations, rollaway beds are only permitted in suites. Cribs are available upon request. The W San Diego does not provide sheets or bumpers due to security measures. Rollaway beds are one size for adults and children
Gift Certificate Policy

Late Checkout Policy
A late departure fee of $75 will be charged after 1pm. After 6pm, a charge of one full night will apply.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
The hotel allows dogs and cats. A nonrefundable $35 deep-cleaning fee applies for each stay with a pet. Guests are also responsible for up to $500 of any additional cleaning bills or repairs as needed. The standard weight limit of a pet is 40 pounds. Dogs weighing more than 40 pounds may be allowed at the hotel’s discretion and should be discussed with the general manager prior to booking a reservation.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
A valid credit card is required at check-in. At check-out, guests may pay by credit card, cash or certified check. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Japan Credit Bureau, and Diner’s Club credit cards are accepted. A guest checking into the hotel must present a valid driver’s license or passport matching the name on the reservation, as well as a credit card matching the provided identification. The credit card will be authorized for payment of the room, taxes, and $150 per stay for incidentals. Cash is not accepted for deposits.

All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.
