Connecting Room Policy
The hotel offers a limited number of connecting rooms in king-to-queen and suite-to-queen configurations. Please request connecting rooms in advance, as they are subject to availability.
Suite Night Award Cancellation Policy
Suite Night Award requests may be cancelled until 2 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, as long as the Awards have not already been confirmed for use on a reservation. Once your Awards have been confirmed, you must cancel the entire reservation to be credited back all the Awards; however, after 3 p.m. local hotel time the day before you arrive, a reservation cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all Suite Night Awards applied to the entire reservation. This is in addition to any other cancellation penalties applicable to the reservation itself.
Check-In & Checkout Policies
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of one night's room and tax applies to guests checking out prior to the departure date confirmed at check-in. Please check the terms of your reservation for specific conditions or exceptions.
The hotel is compliant with federal government regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act. Select Wonderful Rooms, Marvelous Suites, and Wow Suites offer TDD amenities and equipment upon request, including accessible parking. Please contact our Whatever/Whenever® service for detailed amenity information or to arrange for TDD equipment set-up.
Per state law, alcohol must be purchased through the hotel and is restricted to those 21 years of age or older with valid ID. Alcoholic beverages brought into the hotel by guests will be kept at the front desk until checkout. We reserve the right to search luggage and bags if a guest is suspected of carrying alcohol.
Package Handling Policy
Guests may incur a package handling fee, depending on the size and number of packages. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.
We welcome a maximum of two cats and/or dogs 40 pounds or less. Guests with pets must sign a waiver upon check-in and there is a one-time, non-refundable 50 USD cleaning fee regardless of length-of-stay.
Health & Well-Being Policies
Parties aren’t permitted in any guest rooms or suites to create a fun and safe environment for all our guests. We ask that all non-registered guests curtail their visits by 11pm. To ensure exclusive access and for your safety and comfort, you may be asked for a room key at the front door after 9pm. For those looking to entertain or host a party during your stay please contact our Sales or Venues team and we’d be more than happy to accommodate.
Enjoy a smoke-free experience. W Boston prohibits smoking in all public indoor areas. Please note that smoking in the hotel will result in a 200 USD deep-cleaning fee.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to Starwood Preferred Guest Gold and Platinum members who present a valid, major credit card with photo identification, for a limit of 300 USD per day.
EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy
Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel. If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or you are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN.

We require a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club and Carte Blanche) to be presented at check-in. A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of the room, tax and incidentals. If a guest is paying cash, a deposit equal to the room, tax and 75 USD per day will be collected at check-in.
