Rated 5 out of 5 Exceptional staff and facilities
The W Hotel in Hong Kong was an absolute delight. The facilities and service were top notch. The location was also very convenient to Hong Kong's major business districts and attractions.

Still my top preference everytime I stay in HK. A bit pricey on the buffet and crowdy during the party time on the pool.
Apart from that I highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jll888 Hotel is next to the Kowloon Station but...
The hotel is just next to the Kowloon Station which is very convenient to go to the airport, disneyland and Hong Kong Island from here. But if you plan to go to Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, it will be a quite a hassle if you take the subway train because you need walk for 10 mins to Austin Station and exchange the line at Mei Foo station. Really not advisable to take the subway, Taxi will be a better choice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CWLyon Always a good stay
I stay here every few months and will continue to do so. Great location for one night in Hong Kong when flying through HKG as hotel is on top of airport express train stop. Tried to use the 24hr check in/out service but seemed the hotel was very booked. They still let me stay a couple hours pass the normal ExPlat late check out which help a lot. Lots of construction ongoing around the hotel (but no issues with sound) which can make walking places difficult but aging its on top of a metro stop. Great gym and pool scene in summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Odette Bar service
I really enjoyed my stay, only little thing that I think was not a great service: one night we could not get a drink in the bar as it was hired by other guests. We had to sit in the lobby, which is not very friendly in my opinion. I would suggest that there is always room (some space) in the bar for the hotel guests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cescott Honeymoon trip part 1
My husband and I checked into the W Hong Kong for 1 night on the 23rd Jan. The ease of getting to the hotel from the airport itself was fantastic. Jumped on the MTR at the airport which cost us 140hkg for both of us. 2 stops and 24mins later we arrive at Kowloon station. Directly below the W hotel. From walking through the front door the hotel staff we extremely friendly and attentive, introduced them selves and made sure to let us know to ask if there was anything we needed (Billy was just lovely and made us feel at home straight away, and always asked how we were doing whenever we saw him) The staff kindly upgraded us to a Ocean view Spectacular room (either because I'm a SPG member or as we were on our honeymoon) the room it self was beautiful, spacious and certainly had the W wow factor. We did have to swap rooms as the room we were allocated was a smoking room, I believe due to incorrect notes on my booking. This was no issue and we were allocated the same room category on a different floor albeit slightly lower. Room had an Amazing view of the ocean but unfortunately don't get to see the city of Hong Kong Island. Maybe having a city view of the same category would be better even if there are a few buildings in the way. I hear the Corner Suites give the best of both views. Amenities in room are top notch have everything to keep you going including a razor (something I tend to forget).
The woobar happy hour is great, 5-7 daily. But one get one free on their list of cocktails and beer....must try a Moscow Mule (great presentation inc caviar like bubbles to put in your drink)
Location is really good in terms of transport and getting around. Shopping mall right below and ICC just next door which must be good for business travellers.
Having only stayed their one night I didn't get to try out everything but am heading back next week for 5 days and will have a better judgement. Would still highly recommend the hotel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2683 A nice stay!
From our recent experience of staying at the W Hong Kong, we noticed that staff quality has generally improved/enhanced. From bell staff & room attendants, to telephone operators and gym & pool attendants, all were able to present themselves professionally with style as well as to sincerely extend their warm hospitality. David (Welcome Relations Manager) ensured our bookings were properly taken care of. Benny (Welcome Relations Manager) demonstrated nice flair as a professional hotel manager in responding to our needs and sometimes in exceeding our expectations, which can hardly be found in hotel managers of his generation. We wish the management could retain and develop such good staff, so as to take the W Hong Kong to an even higher level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JWSC Getting Worst
I have been staying in W Hotel Hong Kong for more than 10 times since it's opening.
I think the service and the facilities is getting worst and less.
There used to be two sets of shower towel and shower gel, shampoo and stuff, but this time I realised there's only one set.
The in room dining options are too little.
The Bliss Spa is not recommended. We booked Blissage 75 (which is a 75 mins massage), however, we only received a 65 mins service. Not only once, we had tried the Blissage 75 before, and they left early also.

With the Airport Express right below the hotel this is one the most convenient places to stay if you're not on HK Island itself.
The staff are great and always happy to help. I've had concierge services there find tickets to sold out events when AMEX couldn't
For eating the restaurants and the woo bar are great, as is the room service but there's also there's a shopping mall at your doorstep with lots of eating options. And if you can't find what you want in any of those...there's a supermarket in the mall too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by sljo888 The funkiest (and most convenient) hotel in HK
I always stay here when in HK a) because it's SO easy to get to, two stops on the airport express, then 10 floors up from the platform to reception (via an easy to navigate shopping centre) b) city centre airport check in is then 9 floors down from hotel reception and c) it's the funkiest, hip hotel with supremely comfortable beds in town.
The pool on 76th floor has awesome views, the staff are über professional, so keen to help, polite and dedicated.
F&B prices are reasonable for a hotel of this standard

VERY Good- needs one "great" restaurant to make it a 5 Star. Room service menu is good but limitted. No specials or special order food is available. Woobar is fantastic!. Front desk and concierge staff is amazing. Hotel location is "fair" as it is too far from TST East.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NeonDeon Another "WOW" Experience from the W!
We had an amazing stay at the W-Hotel. From the 1st second we were picked up at the airport we knew that this is going to be an amazing experience. The "no haste" check in straight up to our room was another surprise. We have been traveling the world on our "mission" to stay in every W-Hotel globally - and the W Hong kong was one of our highlights. A special mention need to be made of floor 76 where the Jacuzzi and wet bar never let us down after a long shopping spree in HK.
WOW, WOW, WOW!

My wife and me staying at W Hong Kong to celebrate our 20th wedding annivresary. Warm and efficient welcome team make our check-in takes no time. Room has been checked-in before our arrival. Ocean view room made our staying very pleasnt. Well trained staffs greeted hotel guests whenever you step in to the lobby or on check-in level. We notice there are stained made by previous hotel guests on carpet and bed cover that have not been cleaned. As or our experience with W Hong Kong, they could do better than this. Also, we were advised by the "Welcome Specialist" there is a surprise amenity ready for us for our wedding annersivery. Unfortunately, this amendity was never sent to us even after we left. Overall, I still rate W Hong Kong is one of the best hotel that we have stayed under SPG hotel chain and we will definitely will return to W Hong Kong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hamburg007 The hotel is inspiring and perfect place to stay in Hong Kong
- there are many design and art details in the hotel and in the rooms
- the rooms have a good room arrangement with a fantastic view on Hong Kong
- it is situated directly over a huge shopping mall and the Kowloon station, where the trains go directly to the airport or to the Hong Kong side

Rated 5 out of 5 by CA300 A Truly Memorable Experience
I just spent 17 nights (and survived a typhoon) at the W Hong Kong, and have to say that every aspect of my stay was absolutely superb. The hotel staff went over and above on every occasion to exceed my expectations. You could tell that they genuinely cared you were there, and would do everything in their power to help make you feel at home.
I've stayed at hundreds of SPG properties around the world and W Hong Kong by far has been the best when it comes to SPG Platinum recognition. There were a ton of great perks that seem to be unique to this location. Not to mention, some really nice touches, like generous suite upgrades and full size Bliss products in the bathroom.
The attention to detail across every function of the hotel was something that really stood out to me. Peter and his team have done a fantastic job of taking the W vision to a new level in Hong Kong. I’m looking forward to staying here again on my next visit and would highly recommend this property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Caffrey Lovely hotel convenient located in Kowloon
Lovely hotel and with the right room selected a beautiful view across the harbour. The breakfast is the best I experienced anywhere in Asia - brilliant selection.
The pool is great, nice location on the 76th floor. The gym is a bit small and could be it better equipped.
Overall a great hotel and lovely staff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DavidML01 Treated Like a King
I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. We are SPG Platinum and used our suite upgrades so that we had a suite on a high floor. Aside from having a steep learning curve on the lighting systems, the suite and bathroom were top of the line and very quiet. We had a view of the harbor; views of Hong Kong itself are hard to come by, since they are pretty much blocked by a 118 story building. For us the location worked great. Although not in the center of Kowloon, there is a major level shopping mall attached to the hotel. More importantly, there is one stop direct access to Hong Kong Central metro station plus direct check in for the airport. We checked our bags and had our boarding passes issued before ever leaving the complex.
The W has a supersized breakfast buffet with a gigantic array of foods to choose from - both Asian and western. Breakfast was really excellent. We did eat at the dinner buffet one night and were disappointed in the seafood. Again rhe array of foods was staggering, but the seafood was not good. When we were asked to fill in a customer survey on the meal, we mentioned the seafood issue. The next evening we were called by Brendan of the staff who apologized and offered us a complimentary room service dinner, which was delicious. What was truly astounding was when I checked out, I found that he had also waived the cost of the buffet we had the previous evening, and that was not inexpensive.
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They really like what they are doing and they made the stay top notch. I would recommend the W Hong Kong to anyone as a great place too stay.

The one thing i love about this hotel is the showers they are great i must take 2 or 3 showers a day. Ok 2 things they are right above a elements mall. Oh 3 things great spa and pool. Everything is a little pricey but its the W Hong Kong hotel there best hotel i dont think there is a better W hotel anywhere.

It's my second time to stay in W hotel!!
Since I did not have good impression on my first W hotel experience, I did not want to stay in W hotel any more!
However, I was so glad to stay W Hong Kong because everything was perfect and I loved everything!!
And specially I would like to thank you, Patrick at concierge desk!! He was very helpful to make a reservation!!
Once again, thank you for everything

Our family's home-away-from-home hotel, it has become our favorite among all the other hotels in hongkong. From the moment you enter their elegant front doors, you'll be greeted by this wonderful smell, a signature scent of w hotels, to the super chic lobby that's a "happening" place to the amazingly stylish modern rooms and very friendly staff, this hotel is worth your every dime spent and more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KR11 Trendy but not comfortable
staff were very nice and friendly. hotel was trendy but not comfortable, the bar is very pretentious. the pool - AWESOME.
"the kitchen" restaurant was like a canteen and VERY loud with families - not for an alone business traveller.
Dry Cleaning - AWFUL - had to be sent back to be redone and was still bad.
Careful they bill your card for items you dont take after you check out!!

A few things the hotel couldn't do:
1. Upgrade me to a suite, as hotel almost full. but good room anyway with nice Ocean view.
2. Clear the rain so we could enjoy the poolbar for an apertif
3.serve the fantastic light lunch buffet in the livingroom on saturday.
Yah, soo what. Great hotel. Like it a lot. Convenient, good quality, great beds, good sound system.
I'll be back

Rated 5 out of 5 by Autopickem As good as any Luxury Collection I have been to
Got a cool corner room with a great view. Inside and outside of the room, the details at this hotel are as good as any Luxury Collection I have ever stayed at.. Clean and Comfortable, this makes the hotel worth the price. Did I mention you can get her from the airport with no transfer needed..The only con is that the lighting and curtain controls takes some time getting use to

This hotel is beautiful and the staff are very nice and capable. I loved the hotel amenities and the nightly chocolates are not only delicious but very cute shaped as gold balls. My only suggestion for improvement is to keep the gym a little cooler and make the room's television control easier to work. I wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel but had to work!

This is easily in the top 5 properties I have ever stayed at. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else in Hong Kong after my recent stay.
The hotel co-located with Kowloon station and the Elements mall which makes it on of the most accessible and convient properties in Hong Kong.
Be sure to check out the breakfast buffet and wet deck.

The W HK is really great. I stay there quite a bit and they recognize me by name and also invariably upgrade me. They really go above and beyond from the doorman to reception to management.
The biggest drawback is location. It is about as convenient as possible to get to HK island for being in Kowloon, but it is still not ideal.
