The room was very nice, spacious though the bathroom was a bit small. We were disappointed that we had to pay for WiFi as many competing hotels include this. Front desk staff was great, but the restaurant staff in the Relish Bistro were not friendly or very accommodating - this is a weak point. The food was good. Overall we would recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Jada greets you at the front desk and and Jada makes sure your every need is attended to. That kind of staff excellence sets the tone for your entire stay.

Not a great way to greet guests who use the valet parking to tell them that they cannot call to have their car ready, but MUST appear in person before they will bring car around. Perhaps if you added a 5 minute maximum guarantee, you would put a positive spin on this policy,
I'd prefer room darkening shades/curtains. The blinds let in too much light for me
Also, it is important to me to have coffee in the room. This service is not offered

I really don't need attitude from the staff anywhere I stay and I got tons of it as did my nephew who also was staying at this property. They seem to be mistaking putting on airs and acting arrogant with good service. This definitely isn't a Four Seasons.
The Valet Staff is particularly rude.
The bed was so worn out it was caved in.

After a warm welcome, my stay deteriorated after each day.
WiFi is overpriced.
No pool
No Bliss Spa
Service at breakfast was so poor (waited 1 hour for food to arrive) that I went to Starbucks opposite for the rest of my stay.
No Black seal Rum
Half drunk bottle of water in mini-bar
Water in minibar not replenished - went to Starbucks...again.
I was on a group booking and after discussing with colleagues have requested that our company remove W Hotels from future bookings.

Plus: central location, good food and drinks
Minus: cant open the window, old bathroom design, no free wifi, no swimming pool, waiters are so slow that to have a breakfast it takes an hour, sometimes a dumb receptionist at the desk, dont knowing the city at all

Stayed one night for trial in Seattle. Told front desk I might need another night Trial extended, called hotel to request another night, room rate went from $300 to $640 for same room then asked if I could leave my vehicle for an extra hour due to my scheduled, i was told i would be charged by the hour for additional time in valet parking garage
Of course I booked at a different hotel for additional night

This hotel is well run- you can see it in the staff responsiveness and attitude and in the hotel which sparkles. The manager had reached out to me before I got there to ask if there was anything that could be done- I mentioned to him my wife would be in town for one day and it was the end of a cruise to mark our anniversary.....he made sure every detail was taken care of and arranged an upgrade and special amenities. As someone who stays at hotels all the time for business its nice to have a special day made memorable and its increases my loyalty and bond with Starwwod
