Rated 5 out of 5 by I had the best service of my !!! Stayed at the Seoul W hotel for a night gathering with my old friends. Hired Cool Corner because it looked down the nice view of Han River and seamless glass windows were just cherry on top for the magnificiant view of Seoul. I stayed at the Fantastic Suit and I would totally come back for the romantic night or a small gathering nights with close relatives and friends. Thank you W Hotel~ I would thank smiley staffs and team leader who helped me with everything that I needed to do. I even accompanied my Italian Greyhound "NoRu" at the hotel and I can't thank you enough for all the accomodations I have received from the W Hotel!~~~~ I would recommend this specific hotel for the ones who is visiting Seoul and the ones looking for hotels with best facilities with a top quality of stay~ October 23, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Only cat6 hotel in seoul I was very tired before going stay. Even I checked in earlier, the staff was very kind and they recognized me as a SPG platinum member. W bar was excellent with nice view and atmostphere, male staffs was highly kind. However I don't think female staffs in W bar deserve to her position. Except that, I could firmly recommend this hotel to my friends. September 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best service one can provide I booked 2 rooms for my farewell party, and both of the rooms got upgraded to river view and corner room. When I went to check in, I was promptly directed to SPG gold/platinum desk, and I was able to finish the check in process(took a little loger than usual hotels. I think they do more paperworks at check in than others which I didn't mind at all) while seating. When I called for extra pair of slippers, they brought it to the room in a min. I don't know how that was even possible :) August 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Close enough to perfection After five nights at this property I can confirm it is just splendid. W hotels have their own unmistakable style, and the W Seoul Walkerhill clearly represent them at their best. Great location, beautiful property, extremely responsive and committed staff, very good restaurants, gorgeous decor in public areas and in the rooms, perfectly equipped gym/fitness center, good recognition of my platinum status. Should I come back to Seoul I will certainly stay again at the W Seoul Walkerhill. July 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unexpected Level of Service! As a Platinum guest, I've come to expect a high level of service with SPG hotels. On this trip, my expectations were exceeded by the hotel staff. Aside from the attentive service around my stay, I'd like to take special notice with a shipment that I was supposed to receive. I was in Seoul for only two days over the weekend, and the package was supposed to meet me upon check in on Saturday. The shipping company never sent it over, and after several calls to the shipping company by the hotel on my behalf, they found out that there were no deliveries on Sunday - which I was due to depart that afternoon. Thankfully, the super gracious staff decided to locate my package and drive out to the location where the shipping company was holding my package and pick it up for me all before I checked out that day. They did all of this without me ever asking them to! What an amazing level of service and I'd like to thank the entire front desk staff for doing this! While the location was a little bit away from central Seoul, this kind of service and the well maintained facilities made it worthwhile. June 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has the best staff, and a great gym Sunny, Tag, and Sarah all helped to make my stay very comfortable, with a great room, and help getting around Seoul. The spa, and gym are great, and have a lot of equipment in great shape. The pool is beautiful, as well as the sauna. The view is also amazing. You feel surrounded by the mountain, and river, and it feels so quiet, but it is so close to transportation, and where I needed to be in the city. March 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by W as in Wonderful The stay was flawless, pleasant, and wonderful. I got an upgrade to Studio Suite as a Platinum member. The room was wide and well-designed. The circular bed was cute and cozy. The soundproof, which I value a lot, was very good, as I didn't hear a single noise from other room. The room, however, lacked a river view. (Mountain view might be decent in Autumn, but not in Winter especially in the night.) The staffs were very kind and responsive from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts. Eggs benedict was perfectly cooked. Overall, again, flawless; If staying at Seoul for vacation, this hotel is highly recommended. Just keep in mind that this hotel (and also Sheraton Walkerhill) is relatively far from either business district or tourist attractions in Seoul, so you will need an extra travel time/taxi cost. At least there is a direct airport limousine bus. March 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall good, needs great improvement with woobar service I visited W hotel for the first time a year ago and had a very good experience, that's why I stayed here the whole time when I visited Korea this time. Overall it wasn't bad however woobar experience was quite disappointing. This hotel's slogan is "whenever whatever" however I greatly doubt that. I got very nice roses from my friend while having drinks at the woobar. I asked the serving staff if they could put it in the vase and put it up in my room. The response I got was blunt answer that she can't. When I asked her the reason she said there is no vase in the hotel. She did not even try to check with the other staff. When I asked her "you are saying that there is no vase in this hotel?" She said "no" and when I asked another serving staff, he said that it would be better to ask room service staff, which made sense and I did eventually. (Turns out the hotel has different sizes of vases!). This bar costs 20 dollars for beer but they don't even try to communicate with other staff of hotel (he actually said that I need to talk to them directly as Woobar is separate from the hotel, is this correct? This won't be any language issues as I am native Korean and this conversation with both staff was in Korean), and provides very poor service. They don't even bring glass of water unless you ask them and when I asked, they only brought one for me, not for 2 people I was with. This is not the service you expect in 5 star venue. Next time I visit home, I think I will be using different hotel. January 24, 2016
