I just can't help but highly praise your level of service and the attentive staffs who always go beyond their ways to satisfy every single guests who visit the hotel, even if a guest is stopping by for a cup of coffee.
This stay was especially more exciting because of the halloween party held at the woobar. It was a lot of fun!!
I hope this hotel continues to be the best service and trendiest hotel in Seoul, Korea.

any hotel wants to learn about what an excellent service is - they should stay at this hotel. This hotel has some of the best staff and is an exemplary role model for any service company! especially thanks to Gavy. She was great. !!
As a Platinum member of SPG,
I hoped my room would be upgraded to river-view. Unfortunetly, mountain view was set to me.
Next time , I wish I staying river view.

I've been to this hotel over 75 nights in the past 5 years. I know (knew) most of the staff by their first names and have stayed at the W-Seoul with various groups of people including my sister, girlfriend, mother and business parters over the years. I know the hotel well and the people working in there, my stays were always extended stays up to recently.
The location of the hotel is good and bad at the same time. It is well out of the the main core of the city so your travel costs can add up however it's a perfect place for relaxation and fun. There is a duty free shop inside the hotel complex as well as the best Casino in Seoul.
This is also the first W brand hotel in Asia so they went all out with the design and the general architecture of every aspect of the hotel. Especially the rooms, which generally speaking you have to argue to get an upgrade to suite if you are a Platinum but you end up getting it at the end.
The buffet breakfast and the ever changing menu on the various restaurants on site will keep you satisfied no matter how long of stay you have.
Generally speaking everything about the W-Seoul meets or exceeds the Category 5 standards, with one exception: the front office turn around. Now I know this means very little to most travelers, but to those who do extended stays and have specific routines this is very importanti. There is no sense of continuity with repeat bookings and by the time someone gets used to your particular needs, they are replaced and you have to reestablish a relationship. As result, there is rarely any discounts and recognition when you do extended bookings. For that reason alone, I recommend this hotel to anyone who has a short term stay but not to those who are planing on multiple extended visits.
As a whole, the staff on the front lines are FANTASTIC and have provided me the BEST service I have ever had.

My wife and I were quite surprised by our experience at the W Hotel in Seoul. After reading so many positive reviews and staying at other W Hotels in Asia we were really excited and looking forward to our stay.
Our disappointment is with the service of the hotel. It started with us fumbling with our luggage from the car to the door. There were two doormen who did not even offer to help us or at least help my wife carry the luggage in. Worst of all they didn't even acknowledge us or help us with the door.
The lady who checked us in seemed very curt and did not seem welcoming at all. On top of that there was really no real recognition of our gold status as we received the most basic mountain view room. The room itself is overall comfortable and clean, except for the shower which had some mold on the tiles. At a hotel like the W, we expected a higher standard. When we returned to the lobby to go out, my wife went to the concierge to inquire about the shuttle bus. The same lady who checked us in was again very curt and kept providing only 1 word answers. When we returned neither the doormen or anyone in the lobby acknowledged us. The same curtness and service extends to the spa/gym front desk.
Our check out process was fortunately a significant improvement and we really wished that staff was the one that helped us check in.
Though we do want to mention that the housekeeper was extremely polite and friendly.
For being the most expensive hotel in Seoul this stay was unfortunately the most disappointing.

I had the best experience while staying at the W. Hotel Seoul. I had the pleasure of staying here on three occasions during my first trip to Korea.
During the planning of my trip, I had multiple emails with a concierge whose responses made me much more comfortable about my trip. During my trip I utilized the concierges on multiple occasions. Each time I asked for assistance, they were knowledgeable and very responsive to my requests. They assisted me in planning my day, to arranging a tour and also with the little things such as having extra coffee brought to my room. I would highly recommend everyone to utilize their services while staying at the W. as they were the best concierges I have ever dealt with.
All of the "Ambassadors" were friendly, quick and responsive to my needs. When walking through the lobby, I was always welcomed by name.
I was given upgrades for all three stays and a very early check-in on my first stay as my flight arrived before sunrise.
The next time I travel to Seoul, the W. Hotel will certainly be my only choice of hotels to stay.

This would be the last time i would stay in any W hotel around the world my last 3 or 4 stays in different W where very bad and i will never stay there angina,
-the room was not ready - not even a welcome letter
-wiser where all over the place- even dangling from behind the TV
-breakfast area was dirty
-elevators where dirty
no special treatment for a platinum guest even the last time i stayed there they lost 2 of my shirts and they went and go me new ones

Thank you for everyone. I had great time with my husband and my 6 months baby. They were so excited during the stay. I am sure that W is the best hotel.
