Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent staff So i stayed in the w for the first time, to celebrate my girlfriends birthday with some friends. I booked a 2 bedroom flat. We had a great time and enjoyed the staff. Parking is a little steep though. We had a problem with the fridge not getting cold and i spoke to the front desk and they sent someone up to fix it fairly fast. The next day we partied by the pool on the sunday when we were told its party time with good DJ and music, well i can say that the pool was beautiful and our server sarah was extremely nice but the music was so low that we could barely hear it. We complained a few times and finally got an answer that the rooms by pool were complaining about music to loud, so they turned it down for them. Now i spent a lot of money on a 2 bedroom flat and think that those people should have been told about music and not taken a poolside room. We also spent nearly a thousand dollars on drinks and food and you mean to tell me that you couldn't make the music louder? But Sarah our server and Anthony from the front desk were very friendly and helpful.. September 30, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Good stay - better customer service would've made it great We recently stayed from June 22 - 26. We were initially thrilled with the hotel and the overall look/feel. However, we realized right away that the TV stations were constantly scrambling. It was pretty windy upon arrival, so we assumed the problem was due to the weather. We spent a great deal of time out of our actual room, and so we did not realize until our last night that the TV had been scrambling all along. Also, we paid for WiFi, but were unable to connect. We spent about 20 minutes on the phone with a hotel customer service technician, who was unable to resolve our connection problem, and the hotel had to remove the WiFi charge. However, our biggest complaint is with the valet service. We always called the requested amount of time ahead to have our car pulled up. And every time we got to valet we were asked our name & valet ticket # and we'd still have to wait for them to retrieve our vehicle as if we hadn't called the required 10 to 15 minutes ahead. We paid a $30 per day valet fee, and always tipped the drivers, so the service should've been better. July 5, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by I am a happy repeat guest! My hubby and I save up every couple of months to come to the W for a "stay-cation" We have two kids and cherish our little 24 hr getaways. We called ahead to see if we could check in early. Being Memorial Day weekend we knew it was a long shot. They were not able to offer an early check in however, they offered us a pool pass and offered to hold our luggage. A great gesture! Upon check in Gildas and Michael were extremely nice and welcoming!!!! Michael even bought us a drink upon finishing our check out. How awesome is that! When we reached our room we were surprised to see it was a basic ocean room and not the Fantastic Suite we originally booked. I called the front desk and Jennifer took care of the issue within minutes and moved us to our suite which was gorgeous!!!! I thought it was going to have a wrap a round porch as described on the website instead it had two balconies. But hey! Who cares? The room was incredible!!! :) We had dinner at Steak 954 (our favorite restaurant!! We eat here at least every 2 months---so happy we live 15 min away!!!) it was amazing as always!! Delish! When we got back to our room we were amazed to find a bottle of chilled wine and a cheese and fruit platter courtesy of our checkin guy Gildas ---how cool is that!!!!!! In the morning we had breakfast in bed and the lady from room service returned a few minutes after delivery with a box of chocolate!!! How sweet was she??? :) Late checkout was not available but they offered to hold our bags, give us access to the pool for the day and 1 hour to change and shower in their hospitality room when we were ready to leave. So incredible!! For the holiday weekend they had an abundance of staff at every turn asking you how your experience was and if there was anything they could help with!! I was truly impressed with the hustle of the pool staff trying to do everything they could to accommodate the overwhelming amount of people at the pool. My husband and I got to the pool early and laid on the super comfy lounge chairs and watched in awe as the pool boys, cocktail waitresses, wait staff and management moved around like a well oiled machine. W hotel you always exceed our expectations, but this time you have spoiled us and outdone yourself!! We appreciate how friendly your staff is and how clean and modern your hotel is!!! I cant wait for us to stay again!!!! I am already begging my hubby!!! May 24, 2014
