I am a continued loyal guest and make the W SoBe my usual choice. Overall very satisfied. Couple of points. You must do something about getting the rooms ready prior to 15h00. Further, I would appreciate some sort of loyalty rate. I choose your hotel several times per year and plan many more trips to SoBe. I will also require some long term stays next year. Hopeful you can accommodate.

A quick weekend get-away took a little more time to start as my room wasn't availble until around 5;00 PM. I had checked in at 2 and was told the room wasn't ready. I called around 3:30 and no news. I came to the desk at 5:00 and asked why after the 4:00 PM check-in time was my room not ready. They explained they were waiting for a better room. Since all I wanted to do was check in, it would had been nice if someone gave me the option vs having me wait for 3+ hours when I was only there for a limited time.

- W is well known as "fully gown on the outside and nothing on the in" this trip totally proves this rumor. Curtains, sofas and toilets are not perfectly cleaned,
- Washroom essential (toothbruch, shaving creams etc) were placed in a awfully messy manner, a beach side hotel that does not comes with a comb... very careless for a women's need.
- Washroom essentials was not refilled everyday, i had to call down to the housekeeping every night for the people to bring them to me.
- Sat beside the pool for more then 10 minute not one of the server came to me and asked if i'll need a towel, so i had to asked for one but the server never came back. i had to fetched them myself.
- extreme disappointment if they call themselves a luxury hotel, will never stay at any W chain if i had another choice

The service here is the worst! they are totally unresponsive and aloof. Everytime you call whatever/Whenever you wait on hold and if they tell you tthey will call you back, they don't. When I called back they told me the person left. They closed the pool early one day and my wife left her bag there and the pool attendants were totally unhelpful. There was no sign saying they were closing the pool early. The front desk said trhey put a note under the door at turndown but we never had turndown because the maid knocked on our door at 10pm and we told her it was too late. I asked for the manager to call me and he never did. This is the 3rd time i've stayed there in the last year and everytime the service has been bad. We ordered drinks at the pool and we waited 25 minutes for them. Next time I'm going to the St. Regis in Bal harbour!! It's a pity becasuse i love the location but the service is too unbearable.

The hotel have a very good service, all the staff, and specially the front desk is very kind, they have a lot of patience with the kids ( event when they don't speack english )
Over all it is a great place to stay,

We stayed 4 nights in the w hotel with our 2 kids.
It was great. Friendly Stuff. great view to the ocean. Parking and the minibar is a bit expensive but thats normal for a 5 star hotel. Other than that is the location great and the rooms are really cool.

This property has a beautiful architecture with comfortable, spacious rooms. Most of the rooms have a beautiful ocean view.
Having stayed at other high end properties in South Beach my only disappointment in comparison with other near hotels was the inaccessibility to the pool in the evening and the lack of music in this area. No one could give me a straight answer for this policy and the night manager was not polite when we inquired about this.
