Rated 3 out of 5 by My stay in W Hollywood I stayed in W hollywood for 4 nights.The location is good but the facilities is very standard. As i am SPG platinum member i expected that i get upgraded into suite but unfortunately i did not get that as they mentioned that there is no suite availibility during my stay. Overall the hotel standard is as expected but i wont come back again in the future October 25, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Insider We stayed at the Hollywood W last weekend and the Insider, Chris basically made our vacation. I cant thank him enough and couldn't be happier that we talked to him. We were both super pumped about how great this trip was, truly a lifetime experience and because of Chris' unique advice, we will always look to stay at the W hotels, hoping each hotel has someone like Chris to increase the experience of our stay. Food, staff and rooms were all great aswell, but having Chris has now changed my expectations of all hotels. great times. October 25, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel has potential If it were not for the front desk receptionist, Amanda our stay would have been a nightmare. Non of the rooms were ready and they lied to us about our check out time. Amanda worked hard to give us an upgraded room. She was a true star at the W Hollywood! Mat, our bellhop, rocks! Alex and Whitney did a great job at security; however, most of the staff couldn't handle the incredible amount of foot traffic . October 18, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wildly Unimpressed Check in was slow. Platinum status barely recognised, small corner room on 6th floor was not impressive. Amenities not available - pool not available the evening we arrived with no forewarning or apology, despite previous communication with Guest Communications. Arranged a late checkout in advance to utilise the pool but were told it was booked for a private event. It was only on check out that we were informed that the private event was actually a private event for guests and that we could have gone. Almost made it worse. At the time of pool unavailability we called down to inquire and asked to speak to management. Nobody returned our inquiry. Called again. Nobody returned our call. Woman at reception said we should go at 6am when the pool would be available. Rude and unreasonable. The continental breakfast as a part of the SPG membership was a disgrace. A literal pile of granola, yogurt, and berries. A highly unattractive, oversized bowl of bland, lumpy oatmeal. Obvious that very little care was put in to it. Should have taken the SPG points and gone out to breakfast. Management never returned multiple inquiries and so asked to speak with manager on departure. She assured us she would compensate us for the experience. Have not had any follow up. Some staff was excellent, others were dismissive and bordering on rude. Had much higher expectations of a hotel of such supposed calibre. Have had better stays in far lesser hotels. It felt cheap and we were treated like second class citizens. Would not recommend based on experience vs. cost. October 12, 2016

They constantly go beyond the norm to make "Every "aspect of your stay an unforgettable one !! The Kind,Professional,and Caring staff pay every bit to details and go above and beyond are ;Virginia Franz,Lauren,Ashton and K at the Wet deck.This staff sets a unreal standard that tops all other hotels i frequent. When choosing a Hotel in Hollywood you have many Choices, i strongly suggest choosing the W Hollywood, so you can experience the same Epic Experience that i always recieve from them!! October 9, 2016

Rated 3 out of 5 by Really nice but just ok The hotel is gorgeous. The staff are nice enough for Hollywood. No Spg gift/upgrade or recognition. Ac didn't work the entire time we were there. The engineer came up and fixed the problem but the fix was only temporary. The beds was uncomfortable and I could here the music from outside even 10 floors up because the only cool air was coming in the open window. 400 a night everything should be perfect it was not. From the welcome desk agent, to the poolside bartender, to the server at Delphine, everyone was incredibly polite, and I couldn't have asked for a better talent presence. Thank you!
