Rated 4 out of 5 by honeymoon2012 Great Location, 2 mins away from HK central
Great hotel; upgraded to us a bigger room once we informed the team that we were on our honeymoon. Concierge was very helpful with directions etc.
Pool has a great view but does not have a bar/restaurant associated with it.. at least we couldn't find one.
Located in one of HK's bigger mall with tons of options to eat, shop and also check into your airline..

The hotel was very clean, well kept and well furnished, with a great range of in house services - just the ones you want spa, pool, gym - and the occasional check in by management to make sure everything is how you like it. I stayed in a Fabulous Room with a full harbour view.
The hotel is modern. Has a busy kind of vibe and seems to be party central late at night - but you'd never know from your room so it's not intrusive at all.
And it is a fun hotel. Lots of smiles and small talk. The staff are called the talent and they're all young hopefuls, many still studying, very helpful but unique in that they are taught to be creative and self expressive. There's no "Good Morning" but rather a "Hello" usually with some engaging comment or a how are you or where did you go. But the staff are not intrusive in any way and they are polite and they all love working there.
The hotel accoutrements - bedding, pillows, gown, slippers, desk chair, couches etc are all of excellent quality. I wanted to know the brand of the bed, pillows and desk chair as they were so comfortable.
I was working so ate a bit in my room while finishing the day's work. The food was great. Love the poached red fruits with hazelnut crunch muesli and yoghurt for breakfast. And you can get a decent strong coffee. Internet prices in room are reasonable $115 HKD/day or $700/week.
I enjoyed a massage to get rid of the flight and their masseur was professional, well educated in her job and the massage really did get rid of the flight. So I went back for another before I left. :)
The pool area is very relaxed and people are friendly without being in your face.
I think this is a hotel for people who like their independence. You can always go to the concierge for information about anything but they don't come to you with suggestions or tours or sights to see. So if you like to work it out yourself then this is really a great place to stay.

Rated 4 out of 5 Good location
even as a Hong Kong residence "hide-away" hotel; it is easy to get from HK side to the venue by taxi or MTR / airport link ...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jac7 Excellant hotel
I usually stay in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui so was a little apprehensive with a slightly new destination but it all turned out for the best. The service was excellant, nothing was too hard and plenty of smiles. What I liked the hotel was that is wasn't a corporatate stiff hotel but a relaxed, cool joint. It is an easy cab ride to Tsim Sha Tsui or the Island, it will be easy to walk when the building works have finished in the area.
Happy top recommend, we will be going back

I really like this hotel a little out of the way for me but they have a shuttle to take a few places.
The one thing i love about this hotel is the showers they are great i must take 2 or 3 showers a day. Ok 2 things they are right above a elements mall. Oh 3 things great spa and pool. Everything is a little pricey but its the W Hong Kong hotel there best hotel i dont think there is a better W hotel anywhere.

Americans first time to Hong Kong and it could not have been better. The W in Hong Kong is by far the best W we have ever stayed. Francis at checkin was so helpful to make sure everything was just right. The breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere in the world. The W Hong Kong is simply great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JWSC Getting Worst
I have been staying in W Hotel Hong Kong for more than 10 times since it's opening.
I think the service and the facilities is getting worst and less.
There used to be two sets of shower towel and shower gel, shampoo and stuff, but this time I realised there's only one set.
The in room dining options are too little.
The Bliss Spa is not recommended. We booked Blissage 75 (which is a 75 mins massage), however, we only received a 65 mins service. Not only once, we had tried the Blissage 75 before, and they left early also.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Eliza Bad Experience in Making Reservation
I had a great honeymoon experience in the New York W last year. Therefore, I would like to celebrate my husband's birthday at W Hong Kong. When I called theW this afternoon, for making reservation of afternoon tea, the lady helped with my reservation was not in a welcome manner. When I misunderstood her questions, she sounded inpatient and not happy for serving me. I can't believe this is the "Customer Service" that should be provided by W. I don't think my husband and I would like to spend his birthday celebration or other celebration in W Hong Kong anymore.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay - from the fun club-like music and unique decor to the excellent buffet and excellent rooms. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Hong Kong. Traveling with a young child, we also very much appreciated the easy access from the airport and location adjacent the air-conditioned mall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rpinto5935 Excellent Hotel
Only issue was that there were no Executive Club facilities for Platinum guests. Relative to other hotels in Asia which had fabulous breakfasts and evening events this was a huge discrepancy.
Everything else in the hotel was excellent.

The staff at the W hotel was very accommodating to all of my needs. Very friendly and personable, made my stay at W just that much better. The staff at Woo Bar made me feel right at home and were great to talk to. I would definitely recommend staying at the W for anyone who is on vacation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TRVLR In general, great stay
My overall experience staying at the W Hotel HK was positive. Great concierge who helped with bookings and special arrangements prior to my arrival. Service upon check-in, check-out and at The Kitchen in the evening was exceptional. Just a few things stuck out as disappointments:
1. Entering the room – I arrived to my room late in the evening, when it was dark outside. It was also pitch black in my room. Furthermore, it was quite difficult to find the light switch. In fact, a key card needed to be inserted to turn on the lights but the location was quite difficult to find. Most 5 star hotels these days that actually require a key card for lights will have a key already inserted in preparation for check-in
2. Hair dryer – The hair dryer was placed under the sink with a fixed cord that wouldn’t extend very far, i.e. for anyone over 175cm, the dryer doesn’t reach your head while standing up
3. Stain – There was a large, ugly brown stain on the floor near the bedside table
4. iPod docking station – This docking station was not as straightforward to use as it could be. It became difficult to turn on the music without turning on the TV. Furthermore, the TV remote controlled the iPhone which turned out to be more annoying than helpful. The system in the W Hotel Taipei is more user-friendly
5. Service at The Kitchen and WooBar – Service at both The Kitchen during Sunday brunch and at WooBar during afternoon tea was disappointing. Despite having many staff walking around, it was surprisingly difficult to get anyone’s attention for assistance.
As mentioned, my overall stay was quite enjoyable. However, if the above issues had not occurred, it would have been closer to flawless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EB330 Best Starwood Property
Hong Kong W is all about the details, from the staff to the rooms to the ambience. The W feels like a modern art museum without being pretentious or stuffy. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, and they gladly agreed to store my shopping bags at the hotel for two weeks while I was away.
It is centrally located and easy to get to/from the airport, as well as downtown shopping districts. A cab to Canton Rd was 28 HKD.
My only disappointment was the concierge was unable to provide a local breakfast restaurant recommendation that met our criteria.
Overall, I received top notch service and enjoyed the sleek and playful design of the hotel lobby and guest rooms. My stay was the best experience I have had at any Starwood property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sljo888 The funkiest (and most convenient) hotel in HK
I always stay here when in HK a) because it's SO easy to get to, two stops on the airport express, then 10 floors up from the platform to reception (via an easy to navigate shopping centre) b) city centre airport check in is then 9 floors down from hotel reception and c) it's the funkiest, hip hotel with supremely comfortable beds in town.
The pool on 76th floor has awesome views, the staff are über professional, so keen to help, polite and dedicated.
F&B prices are reasonable for a hotel of this standard

Rated 4 out of 5 by finflyer Comfy room with great sound system
Was upgraded to cool corner room. As SPG platinum did not expect more in this hotel as they are notoriously stingy with plat upgrades. Suites available online to book, but not for plats as an upgrade :) Room was really nice. Bed is super comfy and sound system which is integrared into ceiling with subwoofer was deafeningly loud :) Wifi kept disappearing as signal was poor in my corner room on 22nd floor. Cant beat the location as was flying next day and hotel lies on top of airport express station and an upscale mall. Ofcoz I will return! Room service food was also very nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kelvin81 5-star and nothing less
Check-in was speedy & efficient and the room was ready at 8am!!! I had requested an early check-in but I know this is subjected to availability. I was very blessed to be able to get a room at such an early hour! Special mention to the guest relations manager, Alex, as well as the front desk staff, Francis, for making my check-in and stay a pleasant and enjoyable one!
The cool corner room is huge is size and comes with full amenities. It commands a breathtaking view of both the cityscape as well as the beautiful Victoria Harbour. Even the ensuite bathroom commands such a view!
The rooftop swimming pool is also very impressive. I simply love lazing on the sundeck as well as doing my laps in the pool. One word: AWESOME!
Its location is perfect, with the Kowloon MTR station located adjacent to it. Guests can also enjoy in-town check-in service at the station if they choose to take the Airport Express. I think this is really convenient!
All in all, W Hotel is truly amazing and impressive and I won't hesitate returning for more stays in the future. They edge out many hotels out there not just in terms of its hardware but also in its software - the staff! Thumbs up!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Noel WOW - I would expect more from this hotel.....
I just arrived at this hotel and used a suite upgrade....I arrived at 4:30pm and was told that my room was not ready. Really? At 4:30? I asked to see a superviser....I went to the hotel bar to read the paper while my room was available. No superviser came for over 30 mins. Also, my room was still not available. I NEVER complain but this was getting a little out of hand. After over 45 mins of waiting, I was approached by the "welcome relations manager" - I expressed my disappointment...but really nothing came of the situation. To top it all off - I arrived in my room to find that the mini bar was not replenished (meaning that I probably would be charged if I didn't call to get this replaced) and my TV didn't work. I'm staying for 2 days...let's see how this vacation will end up....but I can say that I'm not impressed. Again, I'm not one to complain, but as a Platinum member, i would expect more. Plus, the very fact that I'm taking time out of my day to write this shows my displeasure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2683 A nice stay!
From our recent experience of staying at the W Hong Kong, we noticed that staff quality has generally improved/enhanced. From bell staff & room attendants, to telephone operators and gym & pool attendants, all were able to present themselves professionally with style as well as to sincerely extend their warm hospitality. David (Welcome Relations Manager) ensured our bookings were properly taken care of. Benny (Welcome Relations Manager) demonstrated nice flair as a professional hotel manager in responding to our needs and sometimes in exceeding our expectations, which can hardly be found in hotel managers of his generation. We wish the management could retain and develop such good staff, so as to take the W Hong Kong to an even higher level.

W Hong Kong rocks! By far, one of the BEST Starwood establishments we have ever stayed at!!
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the W Hong Kong for more than a week during our recent HK trip. We couldn't be more pleased with the attentive service and warm hospitality we were welcomed to the moment we stepped foot into the hotel.
Like all other W hotels, the environment is modern chic mixed with youthful vibes. Inviting rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent harbor views, W Hong Kong definitely does not disappoint! We loved the atmosphere, but more importantly, we were most impressed with the level of professionalism from the W staff. It was beyond our expectation as they work hard to make all of their guests feel right at home!
Sammy, our front-desk receptionist, is such a great asset to this hotel. Not only was she friendly and very helpful, she ensured our entire stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We left for a few days to travel to other parts of Asia, but she made sure we were well taken care of upon our return. She left such a great impression during our stay, we cannot imagine staying anywhere else besides the W the next time we are in HK again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Autopickem As good as any Luxury Collection I have been to
Got a cool corner room with a great view. Inside and outside of the room, the details at this hotel are as good as any Luxury Collection I have ever stayed at.. Clean and Comfortable, this makes the hotel worth the price. Did I mention you can get her from the airport with no transfer needed..The only con is that the lighting and curtain controls takes some time getting use to

Not the traditional hotel ambiance you expect. Very chic yet classy; just the kind of kick you need after an exhausting day. Excellent, accommodating staff. Best thing about location - in town check in, Kowloon MTR; you do not have to step out on the road while arriving or departing HK. Though not adjacent to too many shopping areas but shuttles go every 15 min to nearby areas and main Island is just a MTR ride away.
Only downside during last visit - room was not cleaned properly upon my check-in; had visible marks from guests who might have just checked out.
