Rated 5 out of 5 by TRAVELGURU1 A fantastic room with a fantastic staff
I recently stayed for 4 nights at the W Hong Kong. The hotel was already taking care of me even before the wheels of the plane set down in Hong Kong. From the Concierge checking in to make sure that all was perfect for our arrival to knowing what type of music and what kind of drinks that we like.. All was prearranged. The Breakfast every morning was a grand slam ( that’s an understatement) ALL SPG properties in North America take note on how the SPG Platinum breakfast should be handled. It was truly amazing. I’m actually contemplating flying back down for the breakfast itself!
The Hotel itself was also truly amazing. We had a nice UPG to a Fantastic suite. The Bliss Spa was great and so was the roof top pool. In fact EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. From the hotel itself to the staff, this was truly a Fantastic experience. It’s worth it to come to Hong Kong just to experience this level of superior customer service

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hanksman Worth coming back
This hotel has good location, easy access from the airport and to other places.
And very good platinum recognition, the GM came down to greet upon check in.
Also had my room upgraded to cool corner room.
The room itself is amazing. Good view, they provide portable wifi, and very comfortable.
The bar people are very friendly and informative.
Overall, it was a very good stay. Would come back again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Milad710 What a wonderful experience in Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a very busy and amazing city to visit. The location of the W is probably the best you can get, period. First, its connected to the Kowloon Station which is one of the only stations that can shoot you directly to/from the airport, making your arrival and departure a breeze. Second, it is connected to one of the best malls in Hong Kong. When I needed a break from the wild nights in Lan Kwai Fong, I would just go therapy shopping and I had access to everything I could want right there. Third, they have amazing restaurants inside and around the hotel. Hong Kong is known for its shopping and restaurants and you get a front row seat to the action by staying at W Hong Kong.
Staying at the W is pretty surreal. They have made the entire stay an experience. From when you first get into the elevator, to when you eat (one of the best buffets in Hong Kong at The Kitchen), to when you take a shower (BEST SHOWER EVER), to when you sleep. Everything is designed for your comfort and amazement. Literally, if there is anything I ever needed the staff was ultra attentive and took care of me to the utmost.
By far, the best hotel experience of my life and I stay at a lot of hotels.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Paxton Definitely NOT Wowed!
As a Platinum member of SPG, I'm continually disappointed by the level of recognition afforded Starwood's most loyal customers.
We booked a "Cool Corner" Room, as we definitely wanted to be able to enjoy the Harbor views. However, while on layover en route, I checked the mobile app for a possible upgrade, and having enrolled in the keyless entry program, I was surprised to find that while the W had inventory of "better" rooms, no upgrade had been granted (either through the use of Suite Night upgrades; nor through their assurances of being offered the best room, including standard suites. After a phone call to the front desk (from Narita), I was confident an 'upgrade' would be arranged by arrival. So, it was dumbfounding that after booking a "Cool Corner" room, with harbor views, we are led to a room considered a "Fantastic Suite". Unfortunately, the following made it less than fantastic: it was on the 16th floor, the lowest floor of the hotel; in the very back of the hotel, furthest from any Harbor view overlooking the port, with no heat (combined with abnormally lower than average temps for Hong Kong) made the room about 60 degrees, Fortunately, after finally speaking with a manager, Francis, we were switched BACK to a Corner Room with an amazing view of the Harbor (also with no heat, but the front desk was kind enough to bring a space heater when we brought it to their attention). All in all, for only three nights in Hong Kong (to celebrate my husband's birthday in style), I'm sure that there are other hotels that appreciate my loyalty more.

This is my first time stay in W. The spectacular details in the hotel WOWs me. The location is perfect. The price is high but worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Concierge Team was great! Billie made our stay!
The building is new and nice and exactly as you would expect of a W Hotel. The 76 story Wet Deck (pool, hot tub and F&B) has breathtaking views. As an SPG platinum member both our rooms had views and seemed the the standard upgrade. The morning brunch at Kitchen is great-good quality and much variety!
Having the (paid) option to get picked up at the airport in The W Tesla was fantastic. And being greeted and checked in privately without visiting the front desk made the travel day much easier. The best part of the stay was Billie on the concierge team. Everyone on the concierge team was great but Billie went above and beyond. Our friends who visited the week earlier had told us to pass along a hello to Billie as they had had a great experience. Billie genuinely wanted to help us with transportation options, sightseeing suggestions, personally getting us in a taxi and giving our destination information. On our departure day, he escorted us the the train (MTR) ordered our tickets from the agent versus machine to save us money, walked us to the Cathay Pacific check in desk, waited for us to be checked in and then walked us to our departure train. That is what your friends do, not the concierge. Billie was the best! Look forward to seeing him on my next visit.
